- Very expensive. $45/class +30$ registration fees. Justification is they provide supplies. I think most of us would prefer bringing our own supplies as this does not cost as much. -Class ratio 6:1. No feedback about child's progress. I would love to hear more about kids progress and level from the teacher once/twice a year, rather than just a level certificate coming home every month. - Office hours are so limited. Tue-Fri 12-3pm. If you can't call during this short window you cannot get hold of any one for any questions or concerns. -Make up class policies not ideal. - I would instead suggest other small business that provide affordable learning at reasonable rates $20/class. read more

What a fantastic way to jumpstart summer! My 7 year old grandson had a wonderful time at camp learning to sculpt with clay. 3 hours a day x 5 went by fast. He created the most beautiful red panda, baby owl and dessert postcard. The staff is fantastic! Highly recommend! My kids are now 10 and 12 and went to Drawn2Art for a little over one year. They loved it and learned a lot with them. They learned how to work with pastel, watercolor and acrylic. The lessons were very nice and I was always impressed with their work when they brought things home - and they noticeably were getting better at it each time. Their instructors were great - I always heard from the kids that Mr. Kevin and Ms. Jordan were super nice. Their classes are small (not sure about the teacher-student ratio, maybe 1:8?...) and tuition is reasonable. The only thing that was a bit of an issue for me was to schedule makeup classes. They are a small studio and work pretty much at capacity, so sometimes it is extremely difficult to get a convenient spot for a makeup class if you miss one, especially if you have 2 kids and need to get 2 spots the same day/time. I feel like they do their best to address that and have a fairly good system in place to make it easier for the parents, but it's just hard the way it is because they have limited spots and classes are usually full. As the kids are getting older, they are becoming interested in other things and have asked me to try and sign up for other activities. Unfortunately, we dropped Drawn2Art because we just don't have enough time to do it all, but I would definitely come back in the future and recommend them to anybody looking for art classes. My son loves his art classes here. They have the kids learn to work with new materials and the teachers give them some drills to practice before they start each drawing. I was curious at first about the format - each kid does their own thing and the teachers float around the room giving individualized instruction - it's not like they are all using the same materials. So if you miss a class, you're not behind, you just pick up where you left off. Covid protocols are followed and straight forward. Masks, hand sanitizer in and out. No complaints there. My 13 year old has been taking art classes since September and she loves it. She tends to lose interest in things very quickly but she looks forward to art each week. Jaci the teacher is wonderful and the classes are set up in a way that students are set up for success. I am continually amazed at the art work that comes home each week. The studio is very quiet with soft music playing. Jaci is attentive to the students. Parents aren't allowed to stay and watch and she posts a sign on the door that " class is in session" to discourage drop ins. Note: the first class you take is complimentary, to see if it's a good fit for you/ your child and parent is allowed to stay for the first class if the they want. I stayed to watch but not all parents do. If you or your child is interested in art , I highly recommend. read more

My almost 9-year-old son has been taking classes here since he was 4. FOUR. That's nearly five years of art lessons! I'm not one to push my kids in to activities unwillingly and any time they want to quit something, they can. There hasn't been a time when my son wanted to stop taking art lessons here. He loves every teacher and has come away with some pretty impressive skills and knowledge. He's a lefty and a reluctant writer to boot, but after seeing what he accomplishes each lesson, I don't worry about him because his fine motor skills are being honed every week. I consider myself as being a pretty good artist considering I was self-taught. I was happy to find that my five year-old daughter inherited my artistic side and had also possessed that natural ability. I wanted to see if putting her in a formal art school would make a difference. Well, all I can say is that "amazing" would be an understatement. My daughter had only attended for about a month and I've been continually blown away by all of her artwork! Although I still enjoy seeing her other artwork from her elementary school, it's nothing like what she has done here. I really like how teachers show off all the kids' artwork to the parents at the end of class, and I can tell that it makes them feel really accomplished. I also like how the class is structured. The kids have to master one medium first before going to the next. We're planning to keep her there for as long as she can. read more

These art classes are second to none. We have been so impressed. My 6 year old started the classes and as soon as my daughter turned 4 we put her in too. The kids learn skills based on their ability. It is well structured and they are serious about art, but not too serious. They offer one complimentary class to "try it out" and I think everyone should take advantage of that. Amazing after school art program. My 6 year old has been attending for 6 months and we have been blown away with his progress. Jaci and her staff are great. They are friendly, helpful and so accommodating. Children use a variety of art styles and can select drawings based upon their interests. Lots of class time options.
