I went to get a new laundry card from the machine but nothing came out after paying. A woman walked in and helped another customer that had the same problem before me. The other customer had told me the same thing happened to him. Nothing was said to me from the staff about it, I ended up pressing the help button on the window and asked the woman after trying the second machine to get a laundry card and getting an error. She said it was because it was a duplicate request. Once the woman gave me a laundry card after messing with the machine and confirming I had paid, I recommended they put a sign on the machine saying that it may have issues with dispensing a new laundry card. She rudely responded that it just happened and that she just got there. She could have simply just said, "Thank you, apologize for the trouble" or something like that instead of giving me attitude. When I went to use the dryer machine, I couldn't figure out how to add more than the minimum time onto it, so I had to ask another customer and you need to swipe the laundry card again to add an additional 5 minutes onto the time. You need to repeat this process over and over again to reach the desired time, mine was about 40 minutes. Seems like a lot of process just to get my clothes dry. Sorry Kapahulu Xpress, you missed the mark this time and I don't believe I will return or recommend this business to others based on my experience. Hopefully this will be a lesson learned to help make the experience better for other customers.

My first experience was as a renter, the homeowner did not have the house we rented cleaned before we moved in. I requested quotes using the tools in Yelp and ended up with 5 separate estimates. For our first deep clean it was a two day job. (Yikes right?!?) she did all the windows and screens and carpets the first day. She came back on the second and did a deep clean inside. What a relief it was at the end of that day. It was around $700 and worth every single penny. I had her come back a few months later for a deep clean before my In-laws came to visit. I think she came back another time as well. Then we bought a home, the people who lived there before while surface clean was fantastic, they had cats. I am allergic to cats not just a little. Luckily the carpets were new. During the final inspections at the close, I found balls of hair behind the window blinds, around baseboards, behind toilets, on top of cabinets, under the fridge and stove etc. I called her a little freaked out and she showed up within 2 days and just tackled every possible surface she could think of. Wiped all the shutters, in and out of every closet and cabinet nook and cranny. Then a few days later did a full deep clean, including carpets at the house we moved out of. The homeowner said it was the best he'd seen in the 30+ years he'd been renting the home. It takes a minute to get my hubby comfortable with a "stranger" in the house. He works from home. But he's quite fond of Noelle. She's exceeded expectations regularly. The one challenge I would say is they tend to run about an hour later than their estimated arrival time. But that's kind of the deal living on Oahu.

I've used 808 Ninja Cleaners on several occasions. I'm in the Military so I've used her Twice for move out cleanings over the years and other times for maintenance when my place needs some uplifting. She is well worth the money which is also competitive if not the best rate on the Windward side. I have white tile in my home and a giant 115lb shedding black dog. Horrible combo! I kid you not I cant find any hair after she has been here. Any allergy sufferers I'd highly recommend getting this service. Her attention to detail cannot be matched. My first move, my place was incredibly dirty from the dog hair, furniture being displaced, I forgot to empty drawers/fridge and it rained the day the movers packed me up so you can imagine the disaster. 808 ninja cleaners kept the original quote which was the lowest I could find and she didn't just clean around my messes because I couldn't follow directions. She took the initiative and organized my belongings into a box and cleaned everything that she knew I wanted from top to bottom. I waited 1 hr. and 40 minutes for the cleaning person to arrive. After waiting for 35 minutes, the business owner texted me and told me that her worker was running a little late and that she would try to give an ETA (estimated time of arrival) but never called or texted me again. While I was closing up the house and about to leave, her worker arrived at 1:40 pm and I decided to let him do the job. The company owner was gracious enough to reduce her cleaning price by $20 for making me wait 1.5 hours. However, I will not be using this company again.
