LHF website shows a ton of classes that you don't have- which is false advertisement. Also, NO I did not have a consultation when joining, none of the 16yr olds you have at the front desk bothered to tell me anything they were too busy on tik tok & NO it's been 3 weeks and none of your trainers called for a free workout with them, I probably would have joined up for some 1 on 1 training but I'm over it now. Also, more than half of your treadmills are broke. Just an FYI.

At no point did either employee direct us as to where anything was. I had to ask where the bathrooms were. The basement is where the cycling room is which is a room with broken equipment and cycling machines. The locker room was actually very nice and clean. They have their cardio machines on the first floor along with the two workout rooms that have a selection of weights but with absolutely no ventilation which makes it impossible to work out there. Their second floor has their machines which they do have a great variety. However, I felt like there was no ventilation either. The walls had patches of white and unfinished paint which gave the gym a weird look. There were tvs but none of them were on which didn't make sense. On our way out, the front desk returned my ID but didn't ask me anything or if I would be interested in joining. Wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone

Walking into a boxing gym can be a daunting experience and alot of gyms are known for hazing new fighters in a way that could be unsafe. The EQBC experience happens to be the furthest thing from that,from the coaches to a fighters this gym is built on an environment that is cultivated around teamwork and personal development. From the most experienced fighter to the least experienced all members have a level of respect for others and the sport of boxing that make this gym truly special. Frankly speaking most gyms in NYC are money grabs with classes being taught by "trainers" who wouldnt know who Ali was if they were having lunch with him. EQBC is different, EQBC is the standard for real boxing gyms , where real fighters are made.

I believe learning how to box is an art and most of the principles of learning how to box coincide with life principles. I have seen my son thrive and progressively change. Learning how to box is difficult!  Finding a good coach is also hard but I believe we have found our coach, coach Nabeel. I see how coach Nabeel engages with my son and gets into his head, only some can coach children and he is one of the best. Coach Nabeel makes him stronger and makes him believe in himself. Coach Nabeel is doing a great job!! My son is learning discipline.He looks around at all the other individuals in the gym that work hard, and he feeds off their energy. Finally got the ok from my doctor to return to the gym. Crunch Fitness offers a solid, well-equipped environment for hit-the-ground-running workouts, but your experience will depend heavily on the clock. The gym sees its peak rush hours during the typical post-work window from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, as well as early mornings before 8:00 AM. During these busy times, high-demand equipment like squat racks, cables and popular selectorized strength machines require a lot of waiting or sharing. Navigating the floor requires patience or a willingness to swap out exercises on the fly. Conversely, hitting the floor between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM is more of a breeze. No wait times for treadmills, ellipticals etc. During these mid-morning hours, the crowd thins out significantly. You can seamlessly flow through your routine with ease. Some machines still have wait time. When you sign up, you receive a complimentary "Crunch Kickoff" session, which provides a helpful baseline assessment and orientation. However, be prepared for the aftermath. Once the initial kickoff concludes, the personal trainers can become a bit pushy with their sales pitches. If you prefer to train solo, you will need to set a firm boundary to keep them from encroaching on your personal workout space. One trainer came over in the middle of my workout trying to have a whole conversation. I was just trying to finish my routine and he wasn't pleased that I said I needed to finish because I needed to get back home as I was working remotely. After that things were awkward. Another trainer was heard telling his colleague not to help me correct my form with a specific equipment if I wasn't paying for personal training. That's horrible. Beyond the weight floor, the facility includes a relaxation zone equipped with a hydromassage bed. This is an excellent perk for post-workout recovery, allowing you to soothe tight muscles after a heavy lifting session. Because the recovery zone can also get busy during peak hours, visiting during off-peak times ensures you can hop right onto the bed without waiting. There is a shower which is usually clean and stocked even though I am not using it in the summer as I live close by. If you have the flexibility to avoid peak hours, it is a highly efficient facility. While a 9:00 AM-11:00 AM window is ideal for an unbothered, open-floor workout, adjusting your schedule to a 5:30 AM early morning slot ahead of the evening rush is the best strategy to keep your routine consistent and machine wait-times manageable when your schedule tightens up. Overall, I think the experience could be enhanced. When I signed up, no one toured the space or reviewed the equipment with me. That to me should be routine so it gives the impression that unless you're signing up for personal training, they don't care about the experience you're having and don't care to set you up for success.

I went there for years. I am now retired, remarried and I live in New Mexico. This morning, as I was getting ready to go to our community gym, I thought about BODY BY BERLE all those years ago. I mentioned to my husband what a great trainer Richard Berle was -- as were the other trainers I'd worked with there, and how I wished there were some place even remotely similar to that here where we live now. (There isn't). Then I googled to see if Body by Berle was still around, and I am SO happy to see that it still is! BBB's customers are very lucky! They are getting the very best fitness training there is! I never experienced a fitness program as good as that one -- anywhere. Which is what prompted me to write this review.

I open the place with the early regulars, and it's clear a lot of thought went into the redesign. The facility is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of cardio machines, a solid mix of free weights and resistance machines, and open space to move. The layout on the main floor just makes sense. The downstairs locker area has been nicely updated--modern lockers, a sauna, and hydromassage chairs that add a spa-like touch. There's a dedicated studio space for group classes; my daughter loves the Barre classes, but heads-up: spots fill quickly, so plan ahead. This place has become a dependable part of my routine--convenient, professional, and a cut above what it used to be. If you're looking for a gym that gets better with time, Impact delivers.

Smiley face! The atmosphere is amazing ish. Almost like a second home! They keep the gym clean every single day throughout the day, friendly ish environment. However, I experienced serious life threatening issues, one of them being from a personal trainer at the time. DEFINITELY WAS UNCOMFORTABLE BUT WHATEVER ABOUT THE SITUATION FOR WEEKS. I'll attach the text chain below. The towels were never dry,available, they always had a strong chemical smell and always made me itch. You'd have to be there right when they open to get one lol. Members lockers are never locked to avoid inconvenience of getting glitched out your locker if you use the touch pad. Me and others were locked out a few times. We would come out the showers in towels and everything and hope someone would walk into locker rooms so we can tell them to tell front desk. The floors in the girls locker room were always wet. You'd have to walk in and around with extreme caution even if there was a wet floor sign, it's so hard to tell since the floors are super glossy. I've fallen before and even seen elderly women fall and hit the back of their heads or hear them fall from the sauna room. The sauna room is directly under the weight section. It's been impossible to close your eyes or relax when there's someone repping out deadlifts lol. The "high quality sticker label" shampoo and conditioner were something, I mean something's better than nothing? It would cause breakage and dry my hair out. Grateful anyways if I ever forgot my own even if I was paying the price I was. The toilets were always broken and there were only 2. On occasion I and others would walk into or out of the shower/sauna/steam rooms to grown men in our locker rooms. Never warned about it. We would change either out in the open or in the see through stall they were working next too. It's literally see through it's just blurry. They can still see ME LOL. NAKED! I'd always shower with water up to my feet since the drains were always clogged with the amount of hair caught. Impact management thought a mini power fan aimed at the showers/ steam room would solve the flooding problem. I've experienced a moment on my way to the gym with having pure fear for my life witnessing the french owner Johnathan running out of the gym attacking and chasing these members or people unrelated to the gym and seeing a group outside like if it was a high school fight. Diana was screaming no and was in complete fear and tears because of that. I was walking in the gym with shock and left immediately right after because who knows if I'm going to get stuck in the locker room or somewhere with no way out if they pew pew pew it up or something out of retaliation. I swear I spent the following days in fear of my life. Wondering if someone or something's going to go down again. The hydro massage chairs are amazing but your limit is only 10 minutes. You can come throughout the day if you have the time or that added to your membership. You would need to go upstairs to front desk to activate this session. There was an inconvenience where I was with someone and I waited in the empty hydro massage chair room while the person I was with went upstairs to activate 2 sessions. In the middle of that a random women who was a worker for impact just came and sat in the empty hydro massage chair and was putting in a code on the screen to activate the hydro massage chair. Like hello ? I had left since I was running on time and expressed to Diane to cancel both and was met with confusion because she told me and the person I was with that they were empty. Later discovered that the worker did not choose to go upstairs like everyone else and request the hydro chair to be activated. I thought to myself self if anyone can do that. If a worker from impact can just do that then why am I paying so much money for ?
