I signed up for a session at TITLE on the ClassPass app. When I showed up, I found out that they don't actually provide boxing gloves, so that was a bit of a disappointment. I didn't think it was worth buying gloves, since I was just going for the one class, but I ended up participating anyway. The class itself was fun and it was interesting trying out a different type of workout. I will say I think I break more of a sweat with a spin/other more aerobic type class. This was more focused on form and technique, and it seemed like a lot of the people at the class were regulars. Overall, it was cool trying something new, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend unless it's something you're going to invest in for the long term, especially given you'll need to purchase your own gloves.

I came to a class in the evening. I am not a big fan of high impact cardio but I am glad I stepped out of my comfort zone. While this was more of an independently run class. The instructor Alan did show you the moves and gave you the space to find your footing and pace . He did walk around and corrected your positioning which was appreciated. The music was great and kept energy up as I was panting. After the good sweat session I walked home and I sure did begin to fill the soreness. While this isn't going to my everyday routine I will like to incorporate at least one class a week in addition to my other routine.

I have been a member here for about 3 months now and I do really enjoy the workouts. I have boxed before and have taken boxing/kickboxing classes at different facilities over the years. I did CrossFit for years prior to joining Title and am also a member at NYSC. I came to Title looking to change up my workouts a bit an add some more cardio to supplement some of the heavy lifting/ weight training that I usually do. Pro: 1.The workouts are well programmed and have different intensities based on the class instructor. 2. Some instructors will pull you from the bag and work with you with pads for a little bit of time depending on the size of the class. 3. Facility is always super clean and organized. Bathrooms/ changing areas are always spotless. 4. The workouts are a great way to alleviate stress ! 5. The staff is super friendly and Ty/ Hegson at the front desk are super welcoming. Instructors do go around and correct form and provide tips as needed. Con: 1. The instructors sometimes lose control of the class. In the classes that I usually take there are consistently disruptive people who chat and engage in conversation with the instructors. It is frustrating and extremely distracting. The instructors do nothing to stop it. 2. First "free class" really isn't free unless you sign up for a membership. Memberships are a bit pricey and money is due upfront. I joined on a summer special for 3 months, but I wish they offered some type of new member pricing. I am ending my membership due to an old rotator cuff injury that has been exacerbated by boxing. NOTE: Clement's class was AMAZING and tough. I really wish his classes worked with my schedule better.

Me on the bag. One of my fav places to be.

Ask the Community - TITLE Boxing Club

Im thinking about signing up with my cousin he's 15 can i sign for him to start? I'm 19

Yes. Must bring a form of ID and a form of payment to set up your membership

I’m 13, if my parents sign a waiver, can I take boxing lessons by myself?

Short answer is yes but we would initially need your parents to come in and get you set up. There after you can show up on your own. Note. We still remain closed until further notice. Once the Governor reinstated gyms we can assist you

Is there a discount if two people sign up together?

For family members we offer a discount. In other words the second person on the account would only pay $55 extra every month.

With reference to membership fees 1-is there a finicky discounted rate 2-can we visit other title boxing gyms throughout the city?

We run promotions throughout the year; deals on membership, others in apparel and equipment like gloves, shoes, and handwraps. I would check in with our Facebook page as we release future offers.…

Is there a minimum age you have to be?

Minimum age is 8. Anyone under the age of 16 is tried to have a parent/guardian present

Guys, how much it will cost for me, if I just want to come and train with punching bag?

Thanks for your interest. Our pricing is based on memberships. One year contract is 109/month. Month-to-month is 159/month.…

How much is a monthly membership here?

Hi Richa, Thanks for your inquiry, We have several membership options all geared towards hitting…

Wondering how the sparring is here. I was at another "boxing gym" a while back and all they'd do is drill combinations, which is important don't get me wrong, but I was told that sparring was too much of a liability for them. Is the same true here?

We do not offer sparring sessions at TITLE Boxing Club. The closest we get to that is one on one with the trainer. We use pads and mitt work. Please feel free to stop by the club - we can show you the options available.

It just feels good to see staff at the front greeting me in and showing me the ropes of the place. I have seen this location many times passing by but admittedly foregone it in favor of Blink Fitness years ago because that was close to my location. Wanting to switch to another gym brought the opportunity to come here and it is slightly friendlier compared to Puregym, at least not as cold or sterile. It is Spring Break now so of course the gym was pretty packed but for what it's worth I was fortunate not to come across people doing super sets on various machines or spending several minutes on one machine I wanted to try out. Even had short conversations with 2 gym goers. In this day and age, social connection is very valuable so it felt almost as good as getting a solid workout in. Granted the Red and Yellow theme seems a bit garish, almost as if this place was created and run by Hulk Hogan but it's a nice change of pace from the dull and monotonous theme of the previous gym I was in. The one perk the gym has that separates it from others is that Retro Fitness has it's own Smoothie bar and a varied selection of them. I chose the Mocha Mania to be my first one and it sure does fill you up. It makes for a fine replacement as opposed to going to a fast food joint after a workout. Retro Fitness is my new home and with the highest tier I signed up for, I'm ready to explore more.

Also I'm sick and tired of being harassed to re rack other people's weights . I would use the 120 lb dumb bell to bench press . However during the time I'm using it , members would rack their weights where the 120s go. I would put the 120s in the spot of the rack that's open like in any other gym. Alfred would bother me to constantly un rack the weights on the 120 spot that I never used and then re rack those weights in the right place even though I never used the weights. to It's not my job to RE RACK the weights they used . If the 120 lb dumb bell spot gets taken by another weight ...that's not my problem or responsibility . No gym I been to has ever harassed me to re rack other peoples weights , I only re rack the weights and equipment I use . If someone puts a 90 lb dumb bell in the 120 lb spot on the rack , it's not My job to now un rack their weights, look for the right spot it goes on and re rack their . I been at NYSC since March of 2025 and I never once been harassed by this
