We went there because my mom was visiting from out of town and one of her sewing students was needing a few different pieces of wool for her "Make it with Wool" project for the year. We brought in the swatches of what had already been purchased for the project and they were able to pull quite a few wool fabric options that were beautiful. They not only pulled this fabric and placed in the best lighting for pictures for us to send back to her student, but also gave some swatches for my mom to take back to Indiana for the final decision. Not all of the selections we found were available in their online store, but they were willing to take an order over the phone and ship it to her. I have a good feeling this may start to be an annual tradition. She usually selects fabrics at Mood in New York, but the extra level of service provided may make her permanently switch! It also doesn't hurt that they have been a supporter of "Make it with Wool" for over forty years!! We will most certainly be back!

i just finished my first beginners quilting class here with janelle and honestly really loved it. i…read morealmost didn't go to my first class because i was so out of my comfort zone (i have a super basic sewing machine and zero experience, like didn't even know what a quarter inch seam was!!) im so glad i went. the staff are genuinely kind and helpful, and my classmates were great too which made it so fun and enjoyable. janelle was especially patient and encouraging the whole time. i work a lot, so having something creative like this has been such a nice mental break. i'm still kind of shocked i actually finished my first quilt!! the shop is awesome -it has beautiful fabrics and everything you could need, i've already gone back a few times. they offer tons of classes that run all the time and a really great rewards program which is a nice bonus. highly, highly recommend checking this shop out. Erinn was truly kind to this arts & crafts novice, the newbie of all newbies, but she made it such a fun experience as I learned about creating art work (making bowls, plates, wall hangings, ornaments, coasters, etc) from scrap glass in all sorts of colors, transparencies, shapes, and sizes. After searching unsuccessfully online and at a bunch of stores in-person for a well-built round dining table that was a size and color we liked (and getting several unaffordably high quotes from other local custom furniture makers), we reached out to Drew. On the first phone call, he immediately provided several great ideas around potential materials and designs that we hadn't previously considered to help us build our perfect dining table while keeping the project within our budget. He also talked with us about our general design preferences and the choices we'd made elsewhere in our home to make sure that it would be a great fit for us. Based on those first conversations, we also asked him to build a matching credenza sized to fit our space, and both pieces came out even better than we had hoped. Drew was friendly, flexible, and communicative throughout, and took the time to make sure that everything would be exactly the way we wanted (including making a bunch of different wood stain samples for us to check out). The dining table is perfect for us - it has a beautiful modern mix of steel and oak that looks amazing while also being very solid (great since we have young kids), and it's perfect for entertaining. The credenza also looks fantastic, and I love the steel base and legs that Drew suggested to help match the style of the table. These pieces are already making our room far more functional and enjoyable (our kids have already claimed the table as a preferred space for doing puzzles together), and the quality and craftsmanship are exceptional. We're so appreciative that we found Board and Bolt, and would highly recommend them to anyone considering custom furniture!

We have made several trips to their Boulder Store. Each time we emerge with another puzzle. They are the best-- and will replace a missing or defective piece without charge if it came that way. Otherwise a nominal charge of $3. The best!
