These are hands down the best wooden jigsaw puzzle Of all times! They also make awesome gifts!!!

Finished with Indoor Garden. Beautiful and well made.

OK so this will sound crazy to all the Liberty Puzzle fans, but we never heard of them. We come from the "big puzzle, big pieces" frame of mind. Easy to see, easy to place, easy to hold. We like the giant sized Ravensberger large format 300 piece puzzles. Fast forward to our happening to receive a Liberty puzzle. Oh my. It was interesting, and though we knew it would be difficult and frustrating, we decided to try it out anyway. So many times we would exclaim, "Nooo way! This fits here???" or other expressions like that. But we kept going and were rewarded with a very satisfying and beautiful finish. I would recommend that everyone do what we did when we were done, and look at the backside of the puzzle. Gorgeous!!! I was amazed at the beauty and intricacy of the patterns. And there was much more of a story to seeing the "Whimsy pieces" in the plain back than with the picture on the front. It helps to do a puzzle on a bordered board with a cover. Then you can flip it over without losing any pieces. Thank you Liberty Puzzles for a great (albeit challenging) experience!

    Beautiful!!

My husband bought me their Paris puzzle. It was difficult but so interesting. The colors and artwork are gorgeous. I loved the whimsical shapes. Can't wait to put together more!!

Ask the Community - Liberty Puzzles

Has anyone tried gluing their Liberty Puzzle? I know on their website, they do not advise it and suggest buying an expensive frame from them. I am wondering if it is possible and turns out nicely or if they are just trying to sell the pricey frames?

I would never glue them. The art is laser printed onto the maple wood. I can't imagine it working nicely plus then you can never do it over again if you wanted to. Some we box up again after a while and do it again later, like holiday themes. I have…

We were unable to go on the tour because we had a baby with us and an adult would have to sit back with her, which we did not want to do. If you have children over the age of life and want to do the tour, it was $5 per ticket which seems pretty fair. Fortunately, we were able to go to the tea tasting and taste different type of teas. They did not have honey to sweeten the teas, but they did have sugar and an alternative sugar. They had three cold teas, and four hot teas. We especially liked the cold blueberry tea. They had almost eighty different type of teas to choose from on the menu and I got the iced black tea and a warm jasmine tea, both were delicious. The restrooms were clean and everyone seemed very helpful in the tea tasting area. Like I said, we were not able to do the tour, but we were able to go to the gift shop. It was a good mix of things, like snacks, tea towels and cups and measuring spoons. Everything was really cute but I wish I had more options with their name on it, and the picture of the sleeping time bear. I liked a lot of the mugs, but I wanted one that had the bear and the celestial seasoning's name on it, so I left with a magnet and of course, tea. Overall, I would definitely come back when we are in Boulder next time and recommend it to everyone to go at least once.

The staff were all so friendly, and you could tell they knew their stuff and also just loved their job. It was truly a blast! I walked away with quite a bit of new tea knowledge. Excellent vibes all around. The hippie founders of Celestial Seasonings would be proud. And the GIFT SHOP. I think I blacked out. From every Celestial Seasonings tea you could think of to the cutest merch, there's something for everyone. I was glad the tour was so cheap, because I could really enjoy myself. Slap the sleepy time tea bear on anything and I will certainly buy it.

Visiting NCAR is an extraordinary experience that should be seized by any visitor to or resident of…read morethe area. The complex was designed in 1961 by I. M. Pei, one of the greatest architects of the 20th century, and completed in 1967. Although this was his first major project, it received immediate recognition as a masterpiece of modern design and caused Pei's career to rocket. The buildings are inspired by ancient Pueblo ruins and fit seamlessly into their spectacular foothills setting, rather than trying to dominate the landscape. Meteorology first became criticality important during WWII, but basic research into our weather declined drastically after the war. The National Academy of Sciences approached Congress in 1956 to fund an institute for basic climate research. NCAR has been funded by the National Science Foundation since 1960 and is managed by a consortium of universities. One of NCAR's basic functions is to develop models of our climate and the facility has housed a series of state-of-the-art supercomputers for this purpose. Alas for computer nerds, since 2012 the latest generations of systems are now at the NCAR-Wyoming Supercomputing Center in Cheyenne (there is a nice visitor center and tour if you visit there). NCAR encourages visits by the public and is open every day at no charge. The complex sits at the top of Table Mesa and takes up 28 acres of 565 acres of City of Boulder open space. Getting there is a little tricky. You take Table Mesa Drive through a residential development. The houses suddenly end and you're on NCAR Road which twists seamlessly into the landscape and leads past the main entrance to the huge parking lot. Be careful on the rather steep road as it is used by lots of bicyclists and runners. There's a path from the parking lot to the rear of the complex. A staircase leads to the plaza and public entrance. The setting is gorgeous and there are eight hiking trails of various lengths and levels of difficulty. The main public parts of NCAR are the lobby and adjacent two-level science hall which are packed with dozens of interesting and well-done exhibits, many interactive, that explain the functions of weather and scientific research about it. There's also a small theater, a research library, and Pei's original model of the project. The public is welcome to use the large cafeteria (follow the signs from the exhibit hall) which has great views and hosts a continuing series of art exhibits. I usually stop at NCAR whenever I visit Boulder and always enjoy my time there.
