Books, current and classics, were displayed near fabrics shown in them. A fellow customer raved about the shop while we were shopping. She's from Nebraska and visits when she's in Colorado visiting her grandchildren. I'm from Pennsylvania near Amish Quilt Country where there are an abundance of quilt shops. I plan to return when I visit my grandchildren in Colorado, too. Driving away, my husband told me that he was welcomed by a man from Nebraska whose wife frequents the shop . . . Was not even given an opportunity to "test run" my machine -- only told that there was a "new owners" class in a month. They knew I was not a local and have to travel an hour to their shop so why not have someone sit down and go through the basics while I was in the store? Their hours are abbreviated for in person pick up orders so this requires extra planning, but not impossible. They ship quickly. They cruised right through Covid, continuing to do sidewalk meets and provide the service I needed so I could keep my business open too. From my point of view Selection could be broader but I think they carry the majority of what's popular in outdoor supplies. pricing is always good and they get style points for being willing to answer questions. But the zipper puller didn't fit the zipper. Had to reach out and ask if they sent the wrong one. They are sending a replacement, but they said they usually don't if it has been 5 days since you received your item. Which is a very short amount of time. Also, how Am I supposed to know you sent the wrong zipper if none of your bags are labeled? 5 days is a short time. if the company messes up the order, they should fix it no matter how long it has been.
