Wonderful! I have been doing Dream Dinners all over the country for the past four and a half years while I travel for work. I'm lucky that wherever I go for work, there is one nearby where I can stock up on meals. I don't like to go out all the time to restaurants and frankly I stink at creating my own meals so this is the perfect way to be able to have good fresh meals that cost only a tiny bit more than the grocery store and are healthy. I literally have been going to Dream Dinners for over 5 years and this location in Framingham was great. Very friendly employees, easy parking, and overall a great experience. I would recommend this to anyone who is either not that good at cooking or has a big family that they just don't want to have to make meals for all the time. read more

I first tried Dream Dinners close to 3 yrs ago and the experience has never disappointed. The staff are friendly, helpful and I find the in-store assembly experience to be fun and straightforward. It was also nice to see a small business adapt so well during the pandemic and take customer safety and convenience so seriously..offering the service of assembling for us when we weren't comfortable being in-store or delivery were nice touches, and they really worked hard to still offer a variety of tasty meals amid country-wide supply-chain shortages. Some of my favorites have been the mini meatloaves, chicken pot pie puffs, and tacos. When you're tired at the end of the workday and have a family to feed, it's a relief to have delicious meals like these ready to be cooked in a short amount of time. read more

I have been a customer of this Dream Dinners franchise for almost 20 years. I have ordered meals and assembled them in house almost monthly for the last 20 years. I am an "Executive Chef" with Dream Dinners, and I have spent well over $20,000 at Dream Dinners over the years. The original owners sold to the present owner, Amy, a few years ago, and since then the business has gone down hill. We have had issues with the quality of the food, the assembly of the meals (haphazardly with missing ingredients), items constantly out of stock, and worst of all the new owner is rude, unpleasant, and does not care about the business. Her customer service skills are seriously lacking, and she does not want to hear any constructive feedback about her business. I responded to an e-mail today asking me to switch my scheduled appointment to make my meals in person (for the first since Covid) to an evening, (when I work). I told her that I could not make an evening appointment, and maybe the reason that Friday morning was so busy was because that she did not have enough in person spaces (she said they are very crowded on Friday morning). I also expressed my concerns about the haphazard way the meals have been assembled for the past 2.5 years (this is not the first time I have pointed this out to her staff) and she canceled my order! I had previously told her that I was moving, and this would be my last visit. She just cut off her nose to spite her face (and she lost a $500 plus order). What a jerk! What an unpleasant, short sighted, nasty woman! Good luck running your business into the ground! read more

I love the Framingham Dream Dinners! The meals are delicious and convenient. I've made them for company and they are always impressed. The owners, Amy and Wally, and staff are friendly and helpful. I have a standing no salt request and don't eat red meat and they are great with the restrictions and substitutions. Canadian Bacon Stuffed French Bread - This was good, but not as delicious as they proclaimed it would be. It was basically just a hyped up sandwich. Also, I thought it could use more onion flavor in the spread, and when making the spread at dream dinners, I already added twice the recommended amount. Moreover, the calorie count on this is NUTS and that's for 1/3 of the sandwich, which is not enough for a full meal. I combined mine with a small salad of my own creation. Tortilla Chicken Bake - I have to admit I was skeptical about the uncooked rice in the casserole, but it cooked up just fine. However, that's really where my pleasure ends on this. I thought it was REALLY bland. Also, a serving is 1/3 of a tray, which, again, isn't enough food. I made a small side salad with just baby spinach, tomatoes, and lime juice and seasonings. I squeeze a little lime on this dish as well and added a little roasted garlic salsa, which made it much more delicious. Still, not delicious enough to ever want it again. Ever. Chicken Yakatori with Jasmine Rice - This was delicious. The portions were nearly enough, but it was lacking in greens so I added broccoli. With a half cup of broccoli per serving it was plenty filling. Interesting side note on this, I cooked the rice in a really small sauce pan. The recommended water didn't seem to be enough to I winged it and added a little more and I was doing other stuff so I turned it on low and forgot about it for a while. When I checked on it 30 mins or so later, the rice was cooked but the starch turned the all the rice at the bottom and on the edges of the pot into this perfect little edible bowl. Delicious and fun mistake. Arroz con Pollo - This was pretty good. I left out the corn because I do not love corn (although it is not the devil like olives) and doubles up on the black beans. I also went heavy on the onions, because that's how I roll. That said, I know my Arroz con Pollo. I've had it Cuban Style, Spanish Style, Puerto Rican style, and this was more, 50's house wife style. It's as much Arroz con Pollo as "American Chop Suey" qualifies as being Italian food. Still, out of the two "bake and go" meals I got from dream dinner, this was the far superior choice. Greek Chicken with Parsley and Penne Pasta - This was also very good but I, again, modified it. When "making" it in the store, I omitted the olives and doubled the chickpeas because, well, olives are the devil. I also went light on the cheese and heavy on the garlic (actually, every recipe that had garlic I, like, tripled the garlic). There was not enough pasta. If I were home, I'd have substituted wheat pasta and included a cup more, but I didn't add more pasta, instead, I once again added broccoli, because broccoli is delicious and good for you. That said, with about a cup or so of chopped broccoli added to the pasta, this made for three whole meals. Mandarin Chicken with Citrus Vegetables - I could tell when prepping this that it wasn't going to be a enough veggies for three meals on it's own, so I decided to add a side of brown rice but then I found these delightful precooked beluga lentils in my pantry, so I tossed them in with the veggies. They were good, but the rice would have been more filling. The chicken portions here were also small. The Arroz con Pollo had full chicken breasts but these were half the size, cut along the wider part so they looked whole from the top (like a butterfly cut in half). The citrus sauce was tart in an unpleasant way. I added a tablespoon of honey, which rounded it out and made it better, but fresher sweeter citrus juices would have made a huge difference. It also could have used a lot more garlic. I could see it but I couldn't taste it at all over the citrus (and I tripled the suggested garlic at the store). I saved this for last because I thought it would be the most delicious, but it was medicore at best. Anyway, so that's all the meals I got at Dream Dinners. I'd rate the food as 2 stars but the service there earned a third. read more

"The Dream Dinners monthly menu offers 14 wonderful dinner selections to fit the needs of every family." This place was fun! You go online and select the meals you want to make and book your session. You go to the store and they have stations set up for each of the meals. You go around and assemble all of your meals using the raw ingredients. You package everything, go home and put it in your freezer. They give you instructions on how to prepare each dinner. Saves you time on having to go to the grocery store, chopping veggies, and cleaning up! So far we've enjoyed 3 dinners, and all have been tasty - HERB-DIJON CHICKEN BREASTS, GARLIC & BALSAMIC MARINATED SIRLOIN ROAST and CHICKEN PAELLA. It worked out to around $4/serving, though some meals we've eaten about a serving and a half. Can't beat the convenience! read more

I love Dream Dinners! After my fiance and I had been going out to eat almost every night for at least 6 months, we decided we needed a change. We both work full time and I also go to school full time so we don't have a lot of time to cook. And even when we do, who has the time to look up the recipe, buy the random ingredients (like the tamarind paste jar that I needed two tablespoons out of and haven't touch since) and then put everything together? Dream Dinners does it for you! Just take it out of the fridge in the morning and put it together that night. Almost nothing takes longer than a half an hour to prepare, and the items that do take longer are usually "put it in the oven and forget it" kind of meals. When you go to prepare your meals, it's also very fun! The employees and owners are super nice and helpful, there is always music playing and food to taste. So lets get to the food. It is DELICIOUS! This of course was my biggest concern when I started. But I can confidently say that all of the meals here are delicious! Mexican Meatballs, Peanut Penne with Chicken, Meatloaf with twice baked potatoes, Chicken enchiladas, yum! We both look forward to the meals so much that we don't feel like we have to go out to eat something interesting, and we never feel like we don't have enough food. And even though it might seem like you are spending a lot of money at once, once you break it down for each serving it's usually less than $4 a serving. For example, I once went out to eat and ordered a chicken risotto ($16 - See my review for Spoleto) that tasted EXACTLY like the Chicken risotto with Dream Dinners (which costs $16 for 3 SERVINGS). It even had the same ingredients - bacon, mushrooms, Parmesan cheese. I was so annoyed! Overall, Dream Dinners has made it so that I can have regular, delicious meals in my home. I love to cook, and didn't want to give that up, but with Dream Dinners you really do make the meal yourself. You customize the ingredients as you see fit and then cook its yourself at home. Well I've (we've) just enjoyed our 50th Dream Dinner and it was delectable. Baked Honey Almond Chicken. Spicy, Sweet, Crusted and Healthy. We had a half a bag of DD's Chef's corn and peppers veggies and polished it off with our Chicken. The really cool aspect of becoming addicted to DD's is this meal this evening took me 20 minutes to prepare. Was a TOTAL SURPRISE since although I created the sauce last week I had not recollection of the ingredients so after baking it for 17 minutes it was a total and complete surprise. Exactly mimicking a restaurant experience. However the cost of this meal in the comfort of my own home amounted to about 2 minutes prep time a week ago, 2 minutes prep time this evening and my wife is washing up the two dishes, 1 pan and 1 skillet. Financial expenditure a tad less then $10. Since I am becoming more dependent on DD's..... As I learn to like more and more of their entrees I am investing more of my food budget in DD's and visiting Stop & Shop and Whole Foods far less frequently. I used to visit each of them twice a week. These days I visit each of them every other week. This last trip I dropped $333 @ DD's and came home with 30 dinners for 2 people. Actually they are meant to be 30 dinners for 3 people. However there are only 2 of us so we easily devour the extra 1/2 portion each. My cost per serving is $5.00. Were I to serve this same 30 meals to 3 people at a sitting my serving cost would be just $3.70. A real steal. Point: Never in my previous experience of 50 meals have I experience a shortage of sauce, toppings, protein, veggies, anything. The ingredients always end-up to be in excess of what is necessary to eat well. MORE THEN WELL. They do not cheap out on stuff. Quality is SUPERB, Quantity is in ABUNDANCE. Delicious food! Personally I like planning meals and cooking but even for me it's great to have a handful of meals ready to go in the freezer for nights I'm working late or were out all day. You can personalize meals since you put it all together. Leave our dislikes or allergens. Add a little more spice or whatever. The quality of the meat and chicken and pork is fantastic too. Dream Dinners is such a great service! I have done a lot of the box meal plans like Hello Fresh etc but you just never know what you are really going to get in that box and then if it isn't right, you have to head to the store! On top of that, you then have to prep everything and cook everything still! Dream Dinners makes sure your order is good to go and if you have any issues they are there to make it better! Great selection of meals and I can always find something my family will enjoy! My favorites are anything I can toss right from the freezer into the oven. I also like keeping a stockpile for upcoming Meal Trains for new parents, housewarming and more. The staff are always friendly and helpful and seem to enjoy their job very much! I am really happy to have found Dream Dinners, they make my life easier and make it so I can spend less time cooking and prepping and more time with my kids! Win! read more

I tried Dream Dinners when I was pregnant, and wanted to stock my freezer in anticipation of the newborn haze. I love the concept of having easy-to-assemble food that I prep, freeze and then finish at home. The staff was unbelievably nice, and they really have the whole thing down to a science. BUT, I thought the food was really just so-so. As a caveat -- I love to cook, and try to buy local and organic whenever possible, particularly sustainably sourced meat. I found the prepackaged meat from Buckhead to be subpar -- not too mention guilt-inducing. The recipes were nothing you couldn't come up with on your own with a little research on freezer friendly recipes. But the prepared, frozen foods they had were quite good, particularly the veggies and cookie dough. If you're a beginner cook and pressed for time or inspiration, this is a good option. But if you're a foodie, this isn't going to float your boat. read more
