Kj's has a huge selection of wines, both domestic and imports. They also have a seperate tasting room which is a great idea. The interior is clean and tastefully decorated. They sell sparkling wines (Champagne, Cava, etc) and liquors that they might not carry at other places. While this is mainly a wine store, they do a good job of offering other liquids. They have a good cheese selection as well. And they are always offering free tastes of the cheeses. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about everything in the store. Service has gone from excellent and some times above & beyond to abysmal. They are removing interesting hard to find items with huge stacks of generic ales. They were previously well known for their craft beers and large variety of different stouts, porters and Scotch ales. Not to mention the wine & spirits selection was amazing. I am now much less interested in utilizing their services so much so that even though they are walking distance to my home, I Uber or bus to Shrewsbury or utilize delivery services to get the selection & variety I want.
