My wife purchased a dream duffle for a Christmas present from this company and used it once for our first competition and the bag basically broke. She called the company today and they stated that there was an issue with the functionality of the bag, basically a defect and they are sending us a new replacement part. She gave my wife some pushback on replacing the bag vs just the part. Poor business practice. Bag is broken send us a new bag or send us a refund. Thank you for sending repair kit. Bad quality duffle bags. Never again. I would give zero starts if I could. I purchased a duffle bag for 200$ in March 2021. After using the bag no more than four times, it is falling apart. If you are new in the market buying for a duffle bag - do your research. My oldest kid has a dance bag bough in December 2018 and we've had no issues. I wonder why they need to sell refurbished bags if they are selling such a good quality! read more

I am responding to Mrs. BARB j. I find it very interesting that you are stating my experience with Dream Duffel was skewed or inaccurate when I have never had 1 interaction with you. I will address all of the inaccuracies with your reply. 1. I never "threatened " anyone with a review, and I am offended. I simply stated that I can honestly feel why people feel so strongly to write reviews due to the amount of disrespect and rudeness that customers are given. I also mentioned to Mr. Bob J. That although, I do not usually write reviews , I would be leaving one. AFTER he was so rude and insulting and calling me names. I do not have a reason to lie about my experience. I asked if he even read the reviews posted, because I should have taken the reviews into consideration prior to purchasing mine. He stated. "There was only 1 bad review." When I pointed out that there were several regarding poor customer service, he proceeded to tell me " he may look into it." 2. No one from Dream Duffel "responded immediately " to any of my correspondence. 3. Not only did you "communicate" that my solution was not an option ( which was to replace the Duffel bag), I was insulted by Mr. Bob J. With a reply that "I was being illogical " and he was "not going to do that." When I pointed out that I was respectful and courteous to him and expected the same without the insults, he then stated. " I was not calling you illogical, but your thinking. If you think you will get the Duffel replaced." I do not have a reason to lie about my experience with your organization. I am educated, and I know the definition of rude and insulting. As many people have posted, Mr. Bob J and the Customer Service Rep were rude and insulting. We have had our bag for a few years and have had nothing but trouble with it. I have contacted the company multiple times and they refused to help with the issue until I pushed them the first time. Every other time something broke, they have flat out refused. Their trolley system is very poorly designed and breaks very easily. They know this, because it was recently redesigned and is being marketed as improved. The company has very bad customer service and refuses to replace or fix any issues you may have. The owner herself blamed us for the handle and trolley system breakage. She actually called my daughter irresponible and accused her of breaking the bag. I do not write bad reviews, I believe this is a first for me. But I do hope this helps someone else from making the same mistake I did when I purchased this bag. read more

I got my Daughter a Dream Duffel a couple years ago when she became a Troupe Member on the dance team for The Dance Gallery. I researched other brands and spoke with other Dance Moms. I, and my daughter, are extremely happy with the Large Dream Duffel she has. THe staff at Dream Duffel made it a painless process and were very kind and helpful. Last year I got my daughter the 6-Regular Garment Bags. I highly recommend these as they are made well and are fantastic! Extra bonus...they have zippered pockets. We love them so much I just ordered 6 more (have to make sure she has enough for all her costumes). Dream Duffel is an amazing company and has been a joy to work with. I have ordered several items from Dream Duffel over the past few years because my daughter is a competition dancer. We started with the medium duffel and have since added many accessories. It wasn't until recently that I had to contact customer service for anything. Was having a minor issue with attaching an accessory (part issue) and they were SO easy to deal with and extremely helpful and KIND. Mailed out a replacement part that same day. My daughter is an avid dancer and we needed to upgrade her competition dance bag so purchased the largest Dream Duffel ($350) in 2020. That was three years ago, the first year was 2020 and we didn't use the Duffle at all since all our dance competitions were cancelled due to COVID. The second year of using the bag a strap broke off the side! This year, on the way to our second dance competition the other part of the side strap broke off, making hauling this sucker in and out of cars incredibly difficult! To make matters worse, the Duffle handle literally snapped apart - luckily it was on our way back to the car after the final competition. The quality sucks! How can major things like a handle and strap break off after two years of use!? Its not like we are throwing the darn thing around, we use it for dance costumes, hair products, make up and accessories! To add insult to injury, the customer service lady was super rude and basically said I needed to dig up my warranty to get any movement. She had 0 apology or anything to say in defense of their crap product. I do NOT recommend this bag for the price. read more

I stopped by their factory showroom to purchase a duffel for my daughter. The staff was very helpful and took the time to explain the features and show me the different colors and patterns available. I was told the product has a 1 year warranty and the construction looks very solid. Really nice features and a true all in one competition duffel. These are a bit pricey, but a similar sized duffel from a big box store lacks the quality and functionality for only a modest savings. I can see why every dancer wants one, really nice product. read more

I ordered a Dream Duffel that arrived to me with a BROKEN rack and when I called to discuss my options I was told there is a policy stating there are non-refundable shipping costs along with restocking fees. I recently had a very undesirable customer experience with the owner Barb and her employee Elyssa. I ordered a replacement part for my dream duffel and the part that they sent me was not compatible. She explained they simply don't have a part for my bag. She refused to send me a postage for the return...being that the website does not tell you the part won't work for this model bag. The part that was shocking is the manner in which she was belittling. Elyssaid: "oh well you only paid $- for your bag because you got it on sale so what do you expect". I couldn't believe my ears. Then the owner Barb got on and I asked for help and she simply said "NO". I said I have other bags such as Glam bag and really couldn't believe how poor the customer service is with DD. She said "Oh please Glam Bag is a piece of crap!" I just hung up after that.. I realized if this is the owner there's no hope. Anyhow I though I'd share to avoid anyone else from having to deal with this. If they can't facilitate a simple return for a $20 item and they treat people like this.... do you really want to invest in their products??? All the owner was able to say if " Pleas consider selling your bag back to us , lol.? Their "Buy back program" in which they give you peanuts for your bag so that they can resell it under "Factory Seconds". This seems really shady. read more

I would actually give 0 stars if that option was available. The staff that answers the phone is rude and not helpful. They can never actually say when their out of stock items will actually be available. All we needed was a replacement bar for a medium bag and of course they're out of stock. Seriously, if you're the only place where anyone can order replacement parts for these expensive bags, then have extra parts available at all times. Now we are in the midst of comp season and have no bar to hang the costumes, thus making the bag pretty useless. read more
