We looked at Norfolk Kitchens, DK&M, and both Home Depot and Lowe's. The latter 2 being the low ball options. Norfolk and DK&M came in within 10% of each other. Surprisingly the low ball option were t so low. We chose DK&M after looking at reviews and remodels they've done. What was essentially a new cabinet project turned into a much bigger job with a wall separating the kitchen and dining area knocked down and a large opening cut in the wall separating the kitchen and living area. We went with a cabinet design from Waypoint that while a standard cabinet are proving to be solid and well manufactured. DK&M (Bill Reed) explained the process and timeline very well and then met the timeline exactly. We replaced the range and microwave as part of the project. Given this was done between January and March 2020 eg COVID time we were surpassingly unaffected by material issues and in fact most vendors were ahead of schedule. They partner with Envy Remodeling and the team Rob sent in was top notch. Very professional, on time , and excellent at their jobs. I did some rough analysis of material and labor costs and based on the hours spent onsite and similar big box store cabinet prices we feel it was a fair project cost. Looking back it was a very smooth process with no drama. We would highly recommend this team for any remodeling job. read more

I was driving by to check them out on a Sunday but they were closed. I parked on the edge of their lot to check out a store next to them. They drove over ( I am speculating these were the owners) to tell me I was trespassing and even left a note on my car. Their whole 10 to 15 car lot was empty! This is really too much, Bill Reed was operating under 'kitchens floors & more' when we hired him to design & remodel our kitchen. While we waited for the court to decide who was telling the truth, (twice), he renamed his company, 'dream kitchens'. Documents obtained from Pembroke town hall assured the court Bill Reed was the responsible party for us to sue. A quick chamber of commerce search confirms both companies list the same address and phone number. Bill is blatantly deceiving unsuspecting homeowners by claiming my review is for another company, my review is honest and well documented at Plymouth court. Do not hire this man or anyone associated with him. read more

We met with Bill Reed (Owner) at his office and showroom and discussed many ideas. Bill was interested in hearing what our thoughts were and was excited about showing us various cabinet options, counter top materials, Cabinet Hardware, Faucets, Backsplash materials and floor options. He also agreed to set-up appointments for us to visit three counter top material suppliers so that we could review multiple material options; we chose to go with Quartz. At the conclusion of that meeting Bill agreed to come to our Townhouse, review our current kitchen and prepare a cost estimate for the new kitchen. Another important service that Bill offered was to be the "General Contractor" of our kitchen project; one person responsible for the entire project. Dream Kitchens and More partnered with Envy Remodeling (Owner Rob Nardo) and both teams worked seamlessly together to complete the project on time and on budget. Bill provided kitchen material costs and Rob provided the cost estimate for installation labor, Plumbing and Electrical costs. Bill provided the kitchen design drawings and ordered the kitchen materials. He also worked with two counter top fabricators to insure we got the best cost and the timing we required. Rob provided the labor and coordinated the trades and the daily installation schedule. I can't say enough about how good Rob's team was during the installation process. These men were professionals, very polite and accommodating. Each day they took time to clean-up at the end of the day. They were excellent and paid a lot of attention to detail. Most people may remodel their kitchen once. I recently completed a kitchen project using Dream Kitchens & More as my designer. The cabinets look great and I am very happy with the final product. I cannot say I was satisfied with the interactions between Dream Kitchens and More when problems arose or the details that were missed in the design. Layout the kitchen and ordering the Brighton cabinets went fine. Since these were all custom built cabinets, appliance specifications were provided to make sure each appliance would fit before ordering. When the cabinets arrived and installation began, that is when we began to see issues. The island we ordered on the drawing did not match what was delivered. The plywood for the island was 2-3 inches skinnier, on each side, than cabinet under the island. We were never notified of any change and were provide 2 separate explanations of why this happened. Neither explained why it didn't match the drawing. When the counters arrived one of the first things they did was to breakaway the supports on the sink cabinet. Just in case they were in the way. They then started to grind the counter, in the kitchen, and break the drywall to make the counters fit. When I complained to Bill I was informed this was normal even though I called many other granite companies that disagreed. There was even a piece of granite epoxied behind the stove when the specs indicated it was not needed. We did come to a resolution to keep the counter. Removal could have caused more damage and a possible 4+ week delay if the counter was removed. The owner of Dream Kitchens reneged on this agreement 5 weeks later at the same time he replied to this post that he had offered compensation. One of the last items was installing the microwave. The cabinet was supposed to be custom sized for the microwave with the trim spec supplied. When the installation began there was no wood where the bracket for the microwave had to be attached. If there is no wood where you need to mount a bracket, this should be a red flag. I was then informed that it was the appliance suppliers fault even though it conflicted with the specs. I spoke to the appliance supplier and he confirmed this was incorrect and the design should not have been done this way. We had to screw a number of filler pieces in the cabinet to get this to work. I did get quite heated when discussing this with Bill, the owner and designer of Dream Kitchens and More. This ended with him sending an e-mail calling me abusive, unappreciative and him ending all communication with me. Communication was then taken over by someone else who started with questioning the professionalism of others. Again, Custom cabinets, I should not be addressing fixes. These were not all the issues. When you spend a significant amount of money on a project you expect to get what you ordered and be informed if changes are needed or made. You should not be told it was everyone else's fault when something goes wrong when you are responsible for the design. I was repeatedly told by Bill that his installer would have no problem with these issues and he would question the professionalism of my contractor, who handled my 3 month project flawlessly. I dealt with 8 different professionals and trades on this job and only had issues with one. read more

One of the best experiences in shopping for cabinetry and remodeling ideas and supplies. Bill had an outstanding selection of very diverse product lines on display and was very knowledgeable about his business and the products he sold. We found cabinets that far superior to mast all other's, with 5/8" construction, slow close hardware throughout and they were more affordable than other box stores and specialty designer locations.
