Went in on Saturday to have my eye lashes done for the first time. Its Monday and I have big gaps missing. I did what the tech told me on how to take care of them. I havent even worn makeup. Pretty disappointed because I wasn't expecting to have them fall off so quickly. I was expecting to have them last atleast 2 weeks. It was less then an hour to have them put on . I get im the last customer of the day plus I had a Groupon so I'm sure if I was paying full price I think it wouldn't of been so rushed. They asked if I wanted to make an appointment in 2 weeks with this experience I think I will pass. So if you have a Groupon you get what you pay for I guess. read more

I have booked two appointments here. Both times, the store was CLOSED when I arrived. Vagaro is used for booking, and the stores says open on Google, but I really drove all the way over both times just to be met with locked doors. It was a huge disappointment considering I decided to give them a second chance and the same issue happened. Huge waste of my time. read more

Oksana did amazing on my lashes it looks soo natural and not scary at all I'm a first timer and she took time on explaining and testing the glue on my skin for allergy test. she's very nice and gentle. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!! Do not go here to get your lashes done by Emma! Listen to all the bad reviews this place has. Let's start off with how rude and ghetto this woman is. She kept referring to me as "girl", "no girl you're late". She wouldn't look at me, sat down with a black Jordan hoodie over her head, and looked straight at the computer. I don't think she knows the difference between BFF's and a paying customer. To begin I had an emergency a few days ago and had a doctors appointment that was added today, I already had an appointment for 4pm with Emma since weeks ago. I soon realized I would be late to my lash appointment when I was at my doc appointment. I called 30 minutes before my 4pm appt to ask if I could be moved to 4:15pm or later and explained my situation. The young lady on the phone stated they couldn't and that's when I asked if they had a late policy, more so to see if I would be charged for rescheduling my appointment or being late. When she told me that I couldn't arrive MORE than 15minutes late I took that as if they are ok with taking late customers, if they abide by their policy. Im never late and rather reschedule but couldn't control how long they took at the doctors. She told me Emma had a 15 minute late policy and that if I was MORE than 15 minutes late I would not be seen. I said ok and stated I would probably be late and if that wasn't okay I would just reschedule. She stated again that if I was MORE than 15 minutes late I couldn not be seen. Never in that whole conversation did she state "but keep in mind, you have paper work to fill out and Emma will cancel your appt even if you get here before the 15 minute, if the paper work is not done within that time frame". So I arrive 4:13pm when I walk in, wait for Emma to walk up and tell me "you're MORE than 15 minutes late" I look at my phone and I say "no its 4:14pm". She than began to explain that no I was MORE than 15 minutes late and I couldn't be seen because I had paper work and god knows what else to do. I asked her why that wasn't explained clearly over the phone, she rudely said "no I was next to her when you called and she told you if you were MORE than 15 minutes late you would not be seen". I told her "Well I wasn't MORE than 15 minutes late and I called ahead of time and if you where next to her than you heard that she didn't state the specifics to your late rule". I realize I was late and I would have rescheduled if they would have said I needed to fill out paper work and do all these things before my appointment. I asked twice if I'd be seen if I got there before the 15 minute late policy and the receptionist said yes. I simply asked Emma why they wouldn't have stated the specifics to their late policy (since it very specific) and tell me to just keep in mind about the amount of time it would take for paper work. She answered me "IDK i'm not the receptionist". It's not professional to handle situations like this and in the manner Emma or her receptionist did. It would have been a lot simpler and would have been more professional to just say that if they do take a late customer there is a total time of 15 minutes including paper work and the process before Emma actually takes you back. I don't work there or in that field, so how could I possibly know the routine. It unfair to have someone believe they will still be seen and then when they do as you say and get there before the given late policy time, to just turn them away and say they came in past the time when that clearly wasn't true. It would have saved both of us the trouble. I just want to make sure future customers know of the ghetto technician that might be doing your lashes and the false information they give you. Spend your time and money at a more professional place. Where they actually care for their customers. At the end I think it was best because I would have never scheduled an appt with such a ghetto speaking and rude person. I just don't want anyone to waste time and money at his place, when you can probably find a better lash business to go to. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! I don't recommend this place. Unprofessional at all, never going back and hope you consider reading my review before deciding on going there. I guess you get what you pay for, I thought it was cheaper than other places so I went there for lash lift, my lashes looked exactly the same as before, I called immediately asking for a refund and the lady told me that another customer had the same issue on the same day and they thought the gel was expired due to sitting there during the lockdown and they assured me that they'll refund me. I called several times throughout the month of July and didn't receive any call back or a refund. I called yesterday and the assistant told me to come back again. The technician who fixed my lashes used way too much glue, leaving my lashes feeling extremely sticky and itchy. If I could submit a "Negative Star" I would indeed ..... As an experienced eyelash extension customer, I was deeply disappointed by their choice of eyelash compared to the example I submitted . When I came home to Barrington to meet my husband, he laughed and thought I looked like a cartoon character with the hideous looking black bushy lashes turning a full round circle like pubic hairs on a poodle . I asked them if I come in at my expense to remove these caterpillars off my eye lashes and they told me they were booked and that I needed to wait 6 days for an appointment for removal. They talked a good talk so I made an appointment to simply get them refilled once most of the extensions fell out. I have a new puppy and missed my appointment at 10 am. They charged my card $135 for missing the appointment for a FILL !!! I called the receptionist she told me this sort of fill I needed was $60-$64. They charged my card an extra $71. I called the manager, she was so rude and so unprofessional it was simply ridiculous . She raised her voice to talk over me and would not let me explain the situation. Deer Park/Lake Zurich should impose sanctions on their business licensing. Perhaps they would be best opening a temporary storefront at Halloween . She got really rude, said no one ever gave her a message, and basically accused me of lying about leaving messages!!!!! I gave the name of one of the people i had spoke with, and her excuse was the woman had went out of town thats why she didn't get the message. I proceeded to make my appointment, and as soon as I mentioned Groupon she rudely told me they didn't have anyone who was able to do that service, they were looking to hire someone. why I was told by the owner that the technician was busy and completely booked all the times I had called? I had spent over $300.00 on Groupon , now i have to call Groupon to try and get my money refunded. Dream Lash Ha! I would never use nor trust them again. I had permanent upper eyeliner on May 19th still today July 25th I have ink smeared all around my upper eyelids. They lied to me telling me it would take up to 6 weeks to heal. I did most of my communication with Kaitlyn Newburger since the owner Linda Oyewopo claimed she took her grandchildren out of town. When I went to the store at 7 weeks to visibly of how the ink has bled all around my upper eyelids. When I spoke with Linda the "owner" her choice was for me to take her to court. She at one point offered me a refund and then changed her mind. On July 14th while I was at Dream Lash showing kaitlyn my eyes she told me Linda was due back in town be out of town Kaitlyn Newburger was on the phone with her and I called her out and was BUSTED for lying. No one wants to be lied to. The lady who did my eyeliner and I showed her what was going on and she told me she needed to talk to her teacher and she would get back to me. NO, she didn't! also, she claimed she had been doing this for years, if so why would you need to call your teacher? So very poor communication and little experience. Now I have been approached by family and friends wondering what happened to my eyes? If you take a look at my review history, you will see historically i generally write a review when something is deserving of a great review. My job at the time of these services was in the Quality Department, ensuring we provided excellent customer service for our clients & their employees. (Benefits administration) As humans we lean towards providing feedback when it's negative - so I generally focus on providing a review when it's AWESOME! Unfortunately, this is an exception. I want to start out by saying some of the people are very friendly indeed ! The owner.... well...... I don't have words. I have been here twice. 1st time got 'burned' on the bridge of my nose. Had a blister for about 10 days. In part this was due to them scheduling me for a quick fill, when my Appointment was for a new classic lash. The tech was friendly, but had pressure to 'hurry up' for some customers who wanted to spend lots more money on many more services. Hence i got burned in the rush of it all. I put a review and the manager called me and offered me a free lash and eyebrow. I was having multiple surgeries in my sinuses and teeth, so I was unable to do it right away. But she said I could do it when my surgeries were done. She was AMAZING ! Excellent customer service indeed!! She is the reason I decided to give them a second chance. When she first offered me a free service I told her I needed to think about it for a day or two. I was not sure I wanted to go through that again. In the end I decided to give them a second chance, purely because of the experience I had with that amazing manager. A few months later I was done with my surgeries and I called to set my appointment. They told me the manager was out for a while. Another manager said that she would honor everything. Then I was told the old manager was no longer with them. But still they were going to honor what she offered me. A day or two before my appointment I received a phone call asking how was going to pay for it. I reviewed the situation with the caller, and I was told that the owner is no longer going to honor that. I said that was fine, I would continue and keep my original review. They called me back a little while later and told me they would give me the plain lashes and no eyebrow. I hesitated, but I decided I would give them a chance. The person who did my eyelashes was really good. My eyelashes lasted a few weeks. For that I was happy! If the owners ran their organization, their business, in a reasonable and friendly manner, I think I probably would return. But they are so disorganized and unprofessional, I just cannot support them with my business again. read more

Hi! I am a recent transplant from Minnesota. I have had lash extensions on and off in Minnesota throughout the years. I finally found an expert or should I say experts after moving here, at Dream Lash! I had my first set of volume lashes two weeks ago and this week just had my two-week fill. The expertise, care, knowledge, price and ability to put you at ease is phenomenal at Dream Lash. I couldn't ask for better lashes and these even last longer then the many times I had them in Minnesota. I made an appointment and didn't have to wait either time I have been there. The first time I had a Groupon and there was no problem using it. Neither time did I have any glue irritation either. I am so happy and thrilled with them and have had SO many compliments, which is an honor to get at 48 yrs. young! Ha. Check out my pictures to see the lashes! I'm not sure why they have had bad reviews in the past other than maybe it was previous technicians who no longer work there. I spoke to her a few days earlier to set my appointment and had a very pleasant conversation with her! Darya applied my lashes after doing a fabulous job with my brows. My lashes are FABULOUS! I am not one to create a review, but after this experiance I felt I needed to share it. I will preface this review stating that this is not the first time I have had lash extentions. I was a client at Amazing Lash studio for quite awhile, so upkeep and the general knowledge of how to care for your lashes is well known. I decided to go give Dream Lashes a try as it was closer to my home and I liked the Groupon offer they had. The initial full set placement went just fine with Lera and I had a fill roughly two weeks later that went fine as well. However, I was booked with another technician Emma, I could only assume for scheduling reasons as I didn't have a preference and when I got to Emma. I was advised that Lera had not put my lashes on properly and they needed to be removed for fear of ruining my real lashes. So I preceeded with the removal and Emma stated that I should be given the Groupon rate for a full set as it was not my fault that they were not applied properly. Going off the recommendation of what I thought was an experianced technician. I had them removed and then returned 3 days later to have a full new set applied. When I was finished I inquired about the Groupon rate being applied and as a customer was told to consult the owner myself. Emma had taken photos of the previous work done and thought that it was for that purpose. So against my own intuition, I reluctantly paid again for a full set and scheduled to come back in two weeks for a fill. I came back and received a fill by Emma, who took not more than 30 minutes to do and when I got home for the remaining two weeks was shedding lashes, like I've not ever experianced. In the middle of the two weeks, I received a phone call from Dream Lashes that stated I would be rescheduled with a new tech with 5 years experiance as Emma was no longer with them. I agreed and came back at my scheduled appointment. Once I was in the room and my lashes observed. The new technician advised me that I would need another new set as the loss of lashes was too much and I needed to start fresh, so my lashes were once again removed and then a fresh set put on, I regret doing this as I sit here writing this with about 10 lashes left on my right eye and I was just filled on Thursday 06/10. When I inquired at the end of my appointment if at possible I could receive this set at the Groupon rate as this is the 3rd full set I have received in 2 Mos. I was told that all they could do would give me the removel fee for free. Which if I am not mistaken is only 10.00. I have paid 150.00 for two full sets and 60.00 at the Groupon rate, I guess it's okay to rob your client paying 360.00 in two months for lashes and be told, "All I can do is remove the lash removal fee". A quick mention, I got a call the next day from Dream Lash to advise that my technician has quit due to inexperience, which I was told she had 5 years of. I would then be scheduled with someone else. At this point, I will be having my lashes removed by another studio and will not return to Dream Lash. I really wish at this point I fought harder to get a refund or discount of somekind on the last set of lashes. Anyone seeking lash extensions, they are wonderful to have, but please make sure you find a reputable salon to apply them and are honest and are willing to provide reasonable customer service. Please advise DO NOT GO HERE!! I purchased a groupon for a body wrap. The lady who was suppose to do my wrap was unable to because the products were locked up. I waited a hour for her to have someone come and open up the other store to get the products for my wrap. Finally after the lady came and got the products they were able to start my wrap. Unfortunately the products they used gave me some sort of reaction to my skin and had to stop the process short! It was such a horrible experience and the person who was in charge of this establishment was so unprofessional and didn't even have the common courtesy to check up on me afterwards to see if I was ok! Terrible and should be ashamed of themselves!! I reported them to the bureau and to Groupon who refunded me my money! read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! First of all, the only good lash tech was named Johana and she no longer works there, after that It all went downhill. Here are my experiences with employees over several weeks: 1. Deshon- glued the extensions to my EYELID! She was having a rough day and personal matters were making her cry during the appointment.. which I'm understanding about, but at that point you need to take the day off. I knew I felt burning but just assumed she was using a glue with stronger fumes. When I looked in the mirror it looked crappy and the lashes just plucked right off since they were on my skin. I told them this over the phone, they ignored me. 2. So, I got set up with Tatiana- they looked thin and short, not how I wanted, but I just dealt with it. But after 6 DAYS they all fell out. At this point I was so irritated that I called to cancel my future appointments. They offered a free service with "their best" lash tech, Kate. I took them up on the offer. 3. Kate did them amazing the first time!! I go back and schedule with her and the second time they look a little dull again. So I'm like, what is going on? I reschedule to come in a few days later with Kate to make them look better. I literally show up and Kate is busy with someone else. All they could say is they don't know how this happened and that I needed to wait 1-2 hours because they booked someone else in MY appointment time. Or I can go with someone else. Are you kidding me? No way. I'm not wasting my time, and honestly I'm scared to trust any of their other lash techs because of my experience with the others. So, I just left and told them forget it. I'll wait it out and just come in for my fill. 4. I get a call before my fill appointment because apparently they booked someone else during my appointment AGAIN, or they booked when the tech isn't even there (the excuse was something about a micro blading session). When I asked to speak with someone in management or the owner, the receptionist "Victoria" specifically said the owner/management is the one giving these orders. I couldn't help but ask if they don't like me, and what the real problem is because I don't know how any business could be this awful towards a customer and disorganized. She once again offered me a free service, but I'm not falling for that. Why schedule schedule it to waste time and show up just to be told to come back another time. Not once did I ever really receive a sincere apology. Sad. Overall- JUST AVOID THIS PLACE! There are plenty other lash places to go that will treat you better!! read more
