I have been coming here for years. I have never been disappointed in their service. I went to sleep during my pedicure and they just let me stay in the chair sleeping. The pedicure was so relaxing. I am always offered something to drink, and my manicure and pedicure are always perfect. If you pay with a card, they don't add a service charge which is a plus. I have been going to Dream Day for years! They are incredible. My nails always look so good and the herbal pedicure with hot rocks massage is amazing. Holly & Hgnoc are the best. They do SNS (Signature Nail Systems or dip ass some refer to it) so incredible. Mine never chip or break. I called first thing Monday morning to see if I can get an appointment the same day. They had no problem seeing me at 12 noon. I decided to get my eyelashes done by Sam and I'm so glad that I did. They are absolutely beautiful and looks so natural. I also got SNS As well as a pedicure with gel polish. The two ladies that did this did a fantastic job. My boyfriend had scheduled a couples massage for us. We were greeted immediately and friendly as soon as we came In. We were early so naturally we waited, filled out a questionnaire about what we wanted. And were invited into a soothing atmosphere. They explained what we needed to do, laid down and they knock before entering. There were very professional, very kind and very soft spoken when they needed to speak to us. It was my first deep tissue and nothing was uncomfortable for my first time. My lower back pain and shoulder pain are gone. My range of motion in my shoulder is better. They ended it soft and friendly and left quietly. When we came down they gave us water and told us to sit awhile. It helps wash the toxins out. The women we had were wizards at what they do, I never heard those sounds of my boyfriend before and I've never felt so relaxed and fluid after. Highly recommended. read more

I haven't had my nails done here in a while but i went yesterday for an eyebrow wax. I have a huge scar on my face now. It's not from the wax because it wasn't hot. It was from the woman waxing the same area unnecessarily like 5 times. I have a HUGE scar that looks like a burn right in the middle of my face. Was told it would go away overnight. Today it looks 10 times worse than yesterday. I am so mad and will never come back and urge others not to visit if you can avoid it. read more

AND the MASSAGE! With every manicure they give a 10 minute neck and shoulder massage with hot stones. Rose did my nails with sns and I am obsessed with them. She did them so perfect. I received a gift certificate for a pedicure from this business for Christmas. I had heard great things about them. I live out of town, but hoped I would be able to make it in on a weekend. Every time I went in the place was crowded and they said it would be at least an hour wait-- maybe more. Being from out of town, that amount of wait time was unacceptable. Then, when I am able to go in on a week day (and therefore hopefully not a long wait), the 6 month expiration date had passed (within 1 week of date). They refused to honor the gift certificate. I understand the 6 month policy, but they were not at all helpful or friendly about it-- and I know plenty of other places I can get my nails done just as well and just as relaxing. Won't be returning due to lack of customer service. Several members of my family go here frequently. Due to my situation, they will also not be returning. I also suggest you don't go if you need something done within an hour time frame. And, also don't buy a gift certificate there. Obviously they have some timing issues... read more

I wouldn't recommend this SPA to anyone. My wife and I did a couples massage. The ladies that did our massages kept talking to each other. The lady that gave my wife her massage was sick and she kept blowing her nose. Just an awful experience. Stay away from this place. read more

I attended this spa with a bridal party. We have heard nothing but excellent things and loved the atmosphere. It was clean and had a relaxing feel, but the service I received was VERY poor. It took forever, the lady did not listen to me, I was misquoted and I bled several times. While she was doing my manicure she kept wiping the blood off onto a towel and then put on some kind of oil. My hands were so sore, it even hurt to wash my hair. I did not want to make a scene in front of the bridal party, so I called after the wedding was over. The manager would do nothing for me, but "give me better service in the future." Um...no thanks, I will never return. read more

My friend and I went in for mani/pedi and they seems a little busy. We didn't think to make an appointment so we asked how long it might be. They said there wasn't a wait but they would have to do our manicures first until a pedicure chair opened and then do our pedicure. That sounded reasonable so we agreed. After our manicure we moved to the pedicure chairs and told them what kind of pedicure we wanted. They stared right away by taking off our existing polish and soaking our feet. Then another lady came up and said that other people were here that had appointments and so the couldn't give us the kind of pedicure we wanted. They stopped working on my friend half way through, left her in the chair and didn't come back for 30 minutes. I would have just left but they had already taken off my old polish but told me they could only do the basic pedi. I was so upset about this. We go there because there special pedi includes extra massage and pampering. Without an appointment, I would have happily waited in the lobby until the service I requested was available, but they never said anything to us until they had already started. I finished way before my friend and waited almost 45 minutes for her. They never said anything to us. I expressed that I should have been told up front if there were people with appointments because I would understand if they were too busy. No one apologized. No one offered a discount or a way to come back and get the special pedicure at a later date. They are so busy and so popular in gainesville they couldn't care less if they lost a customer. read more

I went in for a brow wax and full set of regular acrylic nails. They almost put on pink & white nails (which would have cost more) and still charged me more than the price listed on the website. The brow wax was bad. "Christy" over-tweezed the ends so that the overall length of my brows was too short, but didn't trim them. She also flattened out the natural arch so they look like short Spock brows. She was the one who prepped my nails and glued on the tips. "Sam" did the rest of the nail application, then "Christy" did the polish. Why the switch? None of the other techs did this. Neither appeared to speak very good English which made communication particularly challenging. Then several of the nails are applied so that they bend up from the nail bed at an odd angle, they are all flat with no arch or smile line or c-curve. I just moved to the area and this seemed like a nice place but the service was super slow (the full set took 2 hours) and the work sub-standard. Oh! And they don't wash the cups/glasses they offer beverages to clients in. They rinse them out (no soap even!) and put then back in the cupboard for the next person. I'm glad they failed to offer me a beverage after seeing that while waiting for a tech (& I'd called and made an appointment). Now I have to find someone who knows what they're doing to fix my nails. read more
