Rude as soon as I sat in the chair. Tried accepting maybe maya is having a bad day however maya proceeded to be ugly. Proceeded to pay and after payment I stated I was not satisfied with the attitude of the tech and proceeded to get laughed at and say that is her tone of voice and her tone of voice is different in Vietnamese. If you like being talked to in a rude tone and your hand yanked around like a rag doll then it's definitely the place for you. If you are this maya have a better day! read more

Best Nail Salon ever!!! My daughter and I have been going for years here and never thought to look them up on yelp. The other day someone asked me where we go to get our nails done, so I went to look them up on yelp to send the link. I noticed the lack of stars, reviews AND knew I had to correct this misleading information! They are amazing, and listen to what you want, bring pictures if you want something special. They know what they are doing, communicate with them, relax and enjoy. Posting pictures of our recent trip. I'm giving one star for effort and that's it. I asked for a gel manicure - natural, short nails. I showed a reference photo just as an idea of what I'd kinda like. I wish they had just said 'no we can't do that' or 'sorry the person who knows how to do that is not available' instead like four people worked on my nails at one point other staff were gathering to watch. The poor tech girl looked high school age and was stressing the entire time. It was a train wreck and I just wanted to be like it's okay never mind I'll just go. It was so awkward and made me feel like I was an imposition watching them try to figure it out. I also hated that it was taking away from the two ladies beside me trying to have their nails done bc their techs kept trying to also help with my nails. And the majority of the time I was having to help suggest technique or basic things like 'maybe don't put a blue stone right by the blue paint or that stone is too big for that nail' etc then they couldn't figure out what to charge me because it took LITERALLY two and a half hours but it was only a gel manicure so I ended up paying $45 and tipped $12. Bad service. I felt attacked bc I asked for Gel-x nails and they don't have that product. Which is no big deal. But when all 5 of them start speaking in their language and their voices get higher it made me feel intimidated and not wanted. Definitely not a relaxing vibe how a nail salon should feel. I have been to the nail salon twice in the past month the first time I went there my nails broke off after two days I got SNS on my nails and gel pedicure so I had to SUPER GLUE my own nails.. I have a newborn, so I couldn't go back and get my nails fixed. two weeks later I tried to give this place another chance and the same exact thing happened. My SNS nails broke again after less than 24 hours and I was not doing any heavy lifting. I didn't bang them in the door they were just chipping off throughout the day.. and I even TOLD THEM about that the second time going here and hopes that they would do something different and they wouldn't break but they still ended up breaking.. so disappointed after spending $107 for a gel pedicure and S&S. read more

So anyone who works hard for their money and likes to treat themselves to a manicure every now and then, STAY AWAY FROM PARIS NAILS!! (Next to Best Buy in Gainesville, Ga)! I had S&S on my nails literally less than a week before they started cracking. I went in and had 2 re-done. About 3 days later, every nail except the two fixed ones and my pinkies were cracked, chipped or shattered looking. Less than TWO WEEKS OLD!! I went just now to get them fixed and the owner said they would only fix two. When I said just take them off, they said they would CHARGE ME $10 to take them off!!! Y'all! They have already been paid $48 (with tip)!!! I refused to pay any more for this mess. NEVER going there again. I went to Paris nails on Friday what a fantastic experience it is every time I go. My last pedicure I went to Dawsonville for convenience with meeting someone there. Service was horrible! The staff was rude and not welcoming. They were very harsh on me and my nails to a point where it physically hurt. Called for a 1pm appointment to get a pedicure. When i walked in, it was very busy(about 12 techs). I arrived early and noticed some unkept decor. Hangong lights were either unevenly lit, or half blown out. Upom walkng in, I was asked to check in on a clip board and waited until a couple minutes after my appointment. It was my first time here and nothing was explained or mentioned about cost until everything was finished. Pedicure Process; Water, cuticles, dead skin gel, cheese grater(or that's what it looks like) for bottom of the feet, sea salt, sugar scrub, rinse, lotion, minty blue gel, warm towel. There was lots of gossip and not much English spoken. When spoken to, tech was kind. Brought my own polish, and the cost was a reasonable $25. read more

We had a 6:00 appointment time, but didn't get seated for pedicures until 6:20. Better than just walking in, but if you are going to offer appointments, you should try to be on time. The nail techs were great and did a good job. When it came time to wrap my friend's legs in a warm towel, the towels were scorching hot and had to quickly be removed as they were burning her legs. Perhaps towels can be kept at a cooler temperature. Overall, experience was good and we will probably be back. read more

This is the ONLY place I go and the owner, Ann, is the only one that does my nails, though they all seem to do excellent work. In response to a couple of reviews regarding time. If someone calls to see if there is an availability, there may be at the time; however 30 minutes later when they show up, all the workers could be busy. I've observed this happening. You wouldn't expect them to stop in the middle of doing someone's nails and start on the caller, would you? I'm not sure I would even consider going to a nail salon where I could just walk right in and be seated on a Friday afternoon. What would THAT say for a salon?? No frills nail salon. Super fast job, doesn't look terrible, but also not the best looking gel manicure I've had. Nails not completely covered with polish and one of my thumbs is a little lumpy. The only thing is, I asked for shellac on my toes at the counter and twice while she was actually doing the pedicure, and she didn't do it. Went here a couple of months ago and had a great experience. The ladies that did our nails were amazing! So after being on quarantine for months we decided to venture out again to get some much needed love on our nails. I called and scheduled an appointment with the same ladies - Julie and Amy. Got to the salon told them we had appointments with Julie and Amy. They took us back and two other ladies did our nails....like what was the point of making the appointment with specific people if they don't even have them available for us. And just as I was afraid of our pedis turned out terrible. The lady who did mine didn't scrub the bottom of my feet and the paint job......is freaking terrible......paint is bumpy and uneven and is all over my skin.....gggrrrrr. I hate paying money for crappy services. Needless to say this was my last time here. Is there anywhere that has good nail techs anymore??? And where they actually stay so you can continually schedule appointments with them and actually get them to do the services? read more

Me and my daughter went her about 3 weeks ago and was the best pedicure I have ever had. So we went back today and took my girls. They charged me the same price for children as adults. I am fine with this but the owner or manager was not friendly and the atmosphere change. I understand that children can take away from prices but they charge me same price as adult. I will not be back. I ask the owners/ managers to be nice to employees. I also did not on a Friday I went on Wednesday morning. My feet are also very ruff and need doing again. I hated seeing 100.00 go down the drain when I will have to go back to any salon to go it correct. Beware. One day may be great another day may not be so wonderful. Had a horrible experience. It was my first time and last time I'll ever go there. When I called to ask for the current wait time the lady on the phone told me there was no wait time. When arriving there was a lot of people ahead of me. It took 10-15 minutes to get seated however they didn't work on my nails yet. I was still waiting for somebody. A lady who walked in after me got her nails done first than I did. Noted she didn't have a appointment. Finally in total of 25ish minutes for waiting, the lady who did my nails hurt my skin. She was filing my skin instead of my nails. Then she filed too much on the sides that my nails were hurting!!! I had some bloody fingers and she kept filing my skin after. Reason for 3 stars...I have been coming here for several years. They do a great job, some not all. I usually make appointments with certain ones. Today I went in and I as I was almost done. In walked in a lady with a Louis purse. By her appearance it was obvious she had money. She was immediately sat down plus was offered something to drink. Me on the other had was not. I have been going to this salon for over a year now and have always had a decent experience. Even though it is always crowded, the wait is usually long, it takes the technicians a long time to finish the task, and it is sometimes like romper room with a lot of kids without adult supervision running around and taking up all of the seating so everyone who is waiting for service has to stand. The parents don't care and the salon staff does nothing. I look past all of this because the technicians give the best pedicures ever! Today, however was the day that ended our relationship. I sign in to receive a fill in. No pedicure today for it is my best friends birthday and we are gathering later to celebrate, so clearly I'm on a time crunch. There are five people already waiting and three more people come in. Everyone has been called for their services (all pedicures which always take presidence over all other services) and one other fill in (which is the same service as mine). I was acknowledged once asking if I wanted a pedicure also. I told the lady I would, if I could get my fill in done at the same time. I was immediately dismissed. About 30 minutes pass and John who I believe is the owner, speaks with the other girl about her fill in and asked if she has an appointment as if he was incunuaiting she has one so he could go ahead and help her. She told him that she did not and she does not mind waiting. Another 30 minutes pass and John addresses the girl again and tells her to go ahead and have a seat at a technicians table. I'm still waiting. I waited a total of an hour and fifteen minutes and was only addressed one time, so I walked out. I called the salon as I was driving to another nail salon and spoke to John about how I was treated. I will not go back and will let everyone that I referred before know about my experience. I ended up going to another nail salon close by and the lady was very friendly, fast, thorough, and she did an amazing job! They are perfect and she did it half the time it takes them at Paris Nails.
