I was a bit stressed as our package did not include airfare so I used my miles in taking care of that portion of it. Kudos to Jolene for her help in coordinating our schedule which included flights, train rides, and ground transportation so that our trip became a relative breeze. Now, regarding the package itself, let's just say, "Bucket list!" This was a trip of my dreams. Yes, there were bumps and bruises (literally) along the way, but, if you asked me to do this trip over again, I'd do it in a minute! Our tour leaders were well organized, respectful of our needs as travelers, mindful of our individual situations and preferences, and, most of all, caring about making our tour and experience of a lifetime. From the top notch accommodations, wonderful dining events, and unique cultural experiences, I couldn't ask for more. Our tour leaders, Ryan and Malaka, were gracious hosts and our tour leader was humorous and again mindful of our needs as travelers to a foreign country. This company solicits business by phone. Promises a free 4 day 3 night at 1 of 40 different…read morelocations around the world, if you listen to their Timeshare type presentation to buy into a travel club. I declined to buy. They offered promises that couldn't be verified before buying. They sent me an email from "Take 3" for my "free travel gift". The link, to their website, doesn't work on a cell phone, only on a computer and only show's destination and hotels available but you have to book through their travel agent. The pitch is that it is for hotels and resorts booked at least 30 days out. The travel agent needed exact dates and could only find 0-2 hotels available for each date. For 4 date options given to him at about 30 days out, in San Diego, he found a Best Western that could have been booked for less through Expedia. On one date he also found the Sheraton Hotel and Marina where 4 days and 3 nights cost $593.63, paying only "taxes and fees" as follows: $121 taxes, $49 booking, $423.64 upgrade fees. Online through the Sheraton website, we could have booked the same room type for $656.33. Long story short, Don't waste your time listening to the presentation or waiting 5 minutes for the travel agent to search for each date option given.
