This place will absolutely scam you thru AirBnb. We made reservations back in September for a getaway for Christmas. Unfortunately in that mean time, massacres happened to 9 women & children on the same stretch of road that would require us to get to our reservation from Arizona. We felt highly unsafe & requested to cancel 8 weeks prior to our reservation date. They refused to cancel the reservation thru Airbnb, refused a refund & then had the NERVE to charge my account another $170 after I ASKED & BEGGED for a cancellation & refund for the $213 they already kept. Now my account is overdrawn & they just NOW canceled my stay thru Airbnb. This place is obviously a scam! read more

We had a wonderful stay here. Diane, the lady who runs the inn, is very sweet and really goes out of her way to make guests feel at home. We were going to arrive pretty late and so we called her to see if we could still check in that late. She said she would stay awake for us. She also provided us with cold bottled water when we arrived and filled some bowls with fresh water for our pups. One of our dogs also totally fell in love with Diane. She even gave us some limes from her own kitchen for our beers! Diane rocks. The inn's architecture and interior is adorably unique and quirky. I've never seen anything like it. The rooms are super cute and there is also a shared upstairs patio with couches and chairs. That's where we watched the sunset. Beautiful. Everything is very clean and well maintained as well. And our room had AC. The location is great as well. You are right by a water front with a strip of shops and restaurants. At night, apparently, there's lots of partying going on but with the dogs we didn't really look into that. We had lunch at the blue marlin, ice cream at thrifty, and breakfast at jungle juice, all of which was very good. There's no beach within walking distance, though. Prices are reasonable. We paid about $170 for two nights. I would recommend this inn to anyone and plan to come back. read more

On my birthday weekend we decided to take a road trip to Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point) we didn't book a room in advance like responsible adults. We ended up at the Dream Weaver. I was greeting my an older man who was very helpful. It's a small hotel I think it only has like 7 rooms. We opted for room #3 I think upstairs. It was very cute. It had a kitchen area a futon and a queen size bed along with a full bathroom he charged us $75 for the wknd and our stay was extremely peaceful. First things first... They are NOT CLOSED! The former manager unfortunately, owns the original website and posted this information. Diane is the rightful owner and onsite managing now for the last 8 months. I understand that the owner is working on getting a new website up and running but in the meantime, you can make reservations from TripAdvisor, Hotels.com and bedandbreakfast.com. Located in the Malecon (Old Port) area of Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point). The rooms are all unique and decorated with bright Mexican Artwork. Diane has been working hard the last several months making repairs and improvements to the rooms. There is a wonderful covered view deck on the second floor where you can enjoy some relaxing down time or maybe take in a sunset view with a cool drink. This quaint boutique style Inn is walking distance to the many restaurants, bars, shops, church, ice cream parlors, coffee shops, art galleries and fish market. Many of the restaurants and bars showcase live local musicians as well as many popular groups from the states on the weekends. DOG FRIENDLY!! This place was perfect!!! Just off the main drag and a quick walk to the water & shopping. Super clean and comfortable! They owner is a very sweet woman with great attention to detail. Dream Weaver...how do I love the? Let me count the ways! This is a real gem...but only if you want REAL Mexican casita-style with no amenities. Oscar, the owner, is great...so friendly & accomodating. Rooms are mini mini apartments with kitchen, totally Mexican. Just a few steps to PP boardwalk & shops. You can even use washing machine & dryer for laundry. Very clean, convenient, comfortable. I love this place & just hope it won't get too 'discovered' . read more

I have to agree with ALL the other reviews, this place deserves a 5. The lady who runs it, Diane, it's a sweet, hard worked and will go way out of her way to make sure you are having the best possible stay. The place is clean, spacious, very nicely decorated and functional. My room (room 3) is huge and has all the amenities. A huge bed with silky, new, feel great sheets. It has 2 ceiling fans and a powerful AC. There is also a TV and a fridge, as well as a Kitchen and a futon. Tons of clean, puffy towels and memory foam bathroom mats. Lots of light and power outlets as it is a rather new construction. There is also a shared balcony with comfortable couches that has a fantastic view. Definitely coming back! Tip: do not park in the parking lot across the street. They will tell you whatever you want to hear but then the next morning you won't be able to get your car out. The place is totally locked and nobody to be seen. read more

What an awesome place! If you are looking for a resort-style stay in Rocky Point, this is not the place for you. This is a much more intimate atmosphere. There are 8 rooms that are all different! Diane runs it & is extremely friendly & helpful. My husband was sick the morning we were supposed to drive home, and Diane let us hang out in a vacant room so he could sleep it off. You would not get that treatment at a resort! 5 stars for this place! read more

This place was great -- couldn't be happier with the experience. We went for a few days in December, so Puerto Peñasco was pretty quiet, but the location seems perfect for anytime. It has a great view of the ocean, and is right by a bunch of great seafood places and bars on the water. Also a short walk from some other cool places. Love the decor of the place too -- the bright colors always remind you that you're in Sonora. The pictures I've seen here on Yelp are pretty representative of the place, although I feel like the place was even nicer. The owner of the hotel was also super nice and very helpful with everything too. It was my first trip to Rocky Point, and honestly, this place was part of what made it special. I'll never forget just lazily watching the sunset from the balcony, under the thatched roof, feeling the ocean breeze. (Admittedly, it got colder at night, since it was December, but we still hung on the balcony all night long under a blanket, because it was just so nice to be there.) I'm sure the hotels and resorts up on Sandy Beach are nice if you prefer that vibe, but if you prefer a more colorful, local, quaint vibe, I think Dream Weaver is perfect. So needless to say, I am definitely planning on coming back to Puerto Peñasco, and definitely planning on staying at Dream Weaver again. read more

This quaint, boutique hotel is truly a gem in Puerto Peñasco. This is our second time staying here. We stayed in the smallest room (#7) the last time we were here which is perfect for 1-2 nights for 1-2 people maximum. This time decided to stay for 4 nights in the largest room (#4) with the king bed, private bath,living room and kitchenette, perfect for anyone staying more than a couple days. We enjoyed hanging out in the room and on the patio that has an amazing view of the water and town. Each room is different and all are decorated beautifully with lots of character and charm. The hotel is close to everything in old town and the owner Diane is super friendly. Free parking on the street right in front of the hotel. I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a relaxing getaway and not looking for an all-inclusive resort or resorts with restrictive rules (like Peñasco del Sol hotel/condos no outside food/drink rules). We love Dream Weaver Inn and plan to stay here every time we come to Puerto Peñasco. read more

This place is an awesome find. It has a very homey feel to it. It's not just a boring hotel. All the rooms are unique. There is an upstairs patio that has an amazing view. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. It is in a good location too. You have quick walking access to the shops, restaurants and clubs. The beach is only a $5 cab ride away or a less than 5 minutes drive if you take your own car. I suggest the cab ride on the weekends though so you don't have to pay for parking (free parking fills up quick on the weekends) and get dropped off right at the beach. Some may not like that you may have to take a cab to the beach but trust me this place is worth it. It's like a home away from home. I cannot stress how kind the owner, staff and folks that stay here are and how clean and wonderful the place is. I will be staying here again and giving out their info to anyone who goes down there. read more
