These guys are awesome! They were super responsive when I inquired online. Went in for a test drive and it was like riding around with an old friend. The environment is very friendly and inviting. I personally appreciated that the car salesmen had strong camaraderie amongst each other; i.e. it wasn't a shark fight when I walked in. At this dealership, they don't play games or sales tricks. The pricing and condition of the vehicle is extremely transparent. Once we discussed the nitty gritty of the finances, they were respectful and made sure that my points were heard and answered all of my many, many questions. Justin was the salesmen that assisted me and he was simply awesome. I honestly didn't expect that a game of pool was in the cards when coming in to purchase a 2012 Jeep Wrangler in great condition! Justin did not only play a game of pool with me (that I TOTALLY won, by the way), he also came in ON HIS DAY OFF to ensure that I received the highest level of customer service. Nowadays, buying a used car is a huge commitment, and its incredibly difficult to trust your dealership. I was anxious going in, as I have been BURNED in the past with former dealerships, but coming here was simply a breath of fresh air! The transparency, the customer service, and the selection of vehicles (they are very selective with their catalogue) was TOP NOTCH. As you can see from my lengthy review, I have many thoughts and opinions, so don't even get me started on the vehicle they sold to me-- Im in LOVE! MISREPRESENTATION AND UNFAIR AND DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES Purchased vehicle on 12/12/25. At the time of the sale, Dream Work did not disclose serious KNOWN mechanical issues involving the transfer case and related drivetrain components. They installed a used transfer case prior to sale and took the vehicle to Land Rover Charlotte because only a certified dealership could program the transfer case. Land Rover discussed with Dream Work that after adding transfer case fluid and attempting programming, a flagged error code remained, indicating that unresolved defects existed before they sold the vehicle to us. Dream Work WILL claim Land Rover test drove the vehicle and it was fine. However, that omits the fact that Land Rover documented that the error code remained after service and programming attempts. Dream Work asked them to clear the code and was provided a copy of the document outlining the issue( I have their original invoice from 11/21/25... three weeks before we purchased the vehicle). Dream Work negated to tell us this issue so that we could make an informed decision about the purchase. It is understood that vehicles may temporarily drive normally after fluid is added.The issue became apparent after the fluid emptied, exposing the underlying defect, which was a major safety concern. We spent over $3000 to add fluid to the transfer case and replace rear rotors that were at 1 centimeter. We're not mechanics and trusted their judgement. The transfer case will fail, costing upwards of $10,000. CARFAX REPORT-TRASH IT! Dealerships are not required to report repairs. Dream Work is quick to give each customer a Carfax report; even making them available online, with the knowledge that reporting repairs or the lack there of, does not have to be on the report. IT'S COMPLETE DECEPTION GUYS! I met with a manager(I will protect his name..for now), in person on 4/24/26 about the issue. On 4/25/26,I emailed him a PDF file outlining our concerns and requested a resolution. He emailed me back on 4/25/26 denying any wrongdoing and denied liability. Many of your complaints end here. So where do I begin. My husband bought a car from them July 5th, 2025. Not even 24 hours of owning the car, we took it through a car wash and the back windshield started leaking through the weather seal. We called them the next morning, they said we would reach back out in an hour. We called every hour of the day until they closed. It took us calling THREE days EVERY BUSSNIES HOURS of these days till we could get a response. We made an appointment to get it fixed at their service office. They claimed the warranty would not fix it even though we paid for full GAP/ best warranty package they had. A few days go by, we are just normally driving down the highway, and a transmission bolt comes out leaving transmission fluid leaking completely dry. We had the car towed to their services dealer once again which thank goodness the warranty covered it, but we had to pay $200 deductible for using the warranty. They admitted the bolt came out due to their inspector team not properly securing it. They did apologies for this. We took the car to our friends lift and looking under that car would make any car geek cry. We learned the engine block was cracked, the transmission had been replaced, the exhumated was welded improperly, all the clamps were different, it was flex piped with holes in it, the truck is not allied properly, and the quarter panel has been replaced. We called them to ask what had happened to this car, remind you in our damage disclosing agreement they claimed the car had never been in a reck or had any major damage, they once again told us they would call us back. Never got a call back. Finally, months after calling, going to the office, demanding someone speak to us, we were told again nothing happen to this car. "It passed inspection with no issues." One night we went out to eat with our friends who are mechanics, also the ones who helped us find this damage in the first place, and they search the vin number on a bidding sight. Our eyes were so stunned. This car had completely been recked. To the point where it only started, didn't even run. We did some more research found out DreamWorks had bought the car from this auction, KNOWING the damage that has been done, illegally passed its inspection, and illegally DID NOT disclose this information before selling it. We just got back from their dealership where we sat in a room with the sales manager who refused to give us any information and continually claimed they did not know about this damage. We begged several times to speak to the GM who would not even take 5 minutes out of his day to come speak with us. We then hear the machine saying, "how is it possible I tried my best when welding it". Now we know their lying. They sent us on our way and said the GM would call us in an hour. An hour goes by, no call so we call and were told to wait another hour. An hour goes by no call again, so we call... again, and gets sent to voicemail. Finally, after 5 hours later we receive a call from the GM who refused to do anything and claimed we had done the damage to the car. Now how are we supposed to do damage to car that we didn't even know existed? So now we are taking things into legal matters due to them breaking the law. Here's the scoop which I new prior to working with this sales team. First and foremost my sales person (Liz George) was fine and a good person. The store manager (Dwayne Johnson) is very professional and a competent sales manager. That being said, do not use this used car location unless you don't mind the following business practices: Preparation Fee: $1,250.00 Documentation Fee: $999.00 Security Fee: $799.00 (LoJack) The above fees are required. Non-negotiable. The vehicles seem to be very good quality, but my particular vehicle (2017, Mazda Miata, ND, Red). Very nice looking vehicle. Unfortunately, at highway speed, the car "shuttered" and tried to veer into the other lanes. Car has a modified muffler and AEM air filter. Possible exhaust leak. Smoky exhaust. Left oil residue in pipes. If this business practice is acceptable to you, by all means check them out. They do carry a high-end assortment of luxury brands. Dealership is very clean and bright. Hopefully, this will help out with future customer negotiations and eliminate any misconceptions or misunderstandings about any hidden fees. They will tell you that they are transparent. I agree, but I don't accept their business practices. I prefer more flexibility on an actual negotiated deal. It just did not work out. If you don't feel comfortable -- don't do the deal. I purchased a Mercedes C300 Cabriolet from Dream Work on Jan 13th. After test driving the vehicle, we found it had a clicking sound when turning, which we we assumed was most likely cv axle. I told Joe that we were going to pass on the vehicle due to the issue. He did offer for them to fix the problem and also fix a rim that had terrible curb rash, so I decided to make the purchase. Once the deal was done, Joe did tell me that the service department would be getting in touch with me to schedule the repair work. They did not call. Fortunately, I went back and read the paperwork and it is actually up to the buyer to call and get the work scheduled, which I did. I dropped the vehicle off the following Monday. The mechanic said that I would hear in a couple of hours. I never got a call. I ended up having to call them at the end of the day to get an update and was told they were still waiting to get the final approval on the work and to call back. When I called back, I was told they got the approval, but had to order the parts and it would be 4 or 5 days before they arrived and the repairs could be made. Because they force LoJack on all vehicles, I was able to see when they moved it. It was Friday when they took it to the main dealership and the rim shop. Weekend passed, Monday passed, still no communication from any of them. I finally called on Tuesday and found out they had finished the work and it was at the dealership waiting on me. We went to the dealership to pick it up (I left work for this). When we got there, Joe had no idea that the car was there. He went to check and found that it was and that they were going to clean it up. Fast forward over two hours later and we finally got someone to check on it. When we got the keys and checked out the vehicle, the rim looked terrible (not their fault completely, but they should have caught it). The rim had overspray on the tire. We brought it to their attention and was told they would take care of it. We have not received any communication since. Additionally, they left my car almost on empty, despite the amount of driving they did. read more

I bought a car 6 mos ago. I paid for my tax title and license it has been 6 mos and my inspection is expired and I have never received what I paid for not new tags have been received to date . Stay clear of these folks there are plenty of places to get what you pay for. read more

Steer clear of this place. I put down $5,000 to hold a vehicle for a week while they got it ready to be sold. During this time they were supposed to replace a bad ball joint that they agreed to replace as it was my only request after looking at the vehicle briefly at a different location then their sales lot. They told me that they did replace it but they did NOT. Also during this time they kept the vehicle up on their website as for sale and also increased the price. They broke our contract by changing the price of the vehicle after I put a $5,000 deposit down to keep the vehicle at that sales price and from being sold to someone else. The price when I put down the deposit was $31,495 and they charged me $32,194. Somehow I missed it because they never put the actual price of the vehicle anywhere down on the sales contract, only with taxes and all the fees. But the price it was supposed to be purchased for was put on the warranty contract. Then they tried selling me a warranty on the vehicle which started at an extra $80 a month and after rejecting they decreasing increase in monthly payments until it was brought down to $10 more a month for the SAME EXACT WARRANTY POLICY, which I foolishly gave in on. They only gave me the first page of that warranty policy, page 1 of 15. Which the finance manager said was only $1,000, actually cost $2,500 .To top it off I was told they needed to do an alignment amongst other things during the week they needed to get it ready for sale, well they left one of the tie rod ends loose which could have ended in a deadly accident because that is what keeps your steering wheel in control of the wheels. Thankfully I caught it before I lost control of the vehicle while driving on the road. They also have a mandatory $799 LoJack charge which comes with only 1 year of service and could be bought for the same price from LoJack with a 5 year service. It was my first time buying a vehicle at a dealership so it was my mistake for not catching their sneaky price increases while he rushed me through everything and them breaking our contract when I put the $5,000 deposit down, which is an abnormally high deposit for securing the purchase. I learned alot from my first dealership car purchase from this place and it is true what everyone says about car dealerships, they are lowest of the low human beings and will try to F*** you at every turn. Please steer clear and speed as far away as you can get from this place as I hope no one else has to experience what I went through. read more

Post purchase this has been a nightmare days after purchasing the car I took my vehicle to Acura to have recall work done, upon further inspection the timing belt needed to be replaced, ($2000) the car had a leaking front strut that needed to be replaced, ($1500) and basic maintenance had not been taken care of. Transmission fluid was black ($400) pcv valve needed replacing, ($70) the rear differential fluid had not been changed, another $200, the transfer case needed servicing all in all I'm looking at over $4000 worth of repairs/overdue maintenance . I immediately contacted the dealership whom have been borderline non responsive offering no kind of help or remedy. They were late paying off the vehicle I traded in so much so that my previous financing company were calling me about late payments, I had to involve the nc state highway patrol to get that fixed, in I felt helpless and contacted the attorney generals office for help, upon which I also received no kind of help or solution from dreamwork automotive. I would highly advise shopping elsewhere for your used vehicle. Throughout the test drive my salesperson mentioned the car had been well taken care of in house and that it was a good vehicle, repeatedly saying someone was coming in the morning to buy the car, when I asked about the timing belt he said: Acura and Honda typically don't need to replace the timing belt until around 200k miles, the mechanic at Acura said 90k miles or 5 years whatever comes first, go figure I was at 89k miles at the time of the sale. read more

Went to Dream Work Automotive on Revenge of the Fifth. They were first class! My brother and I were looking to buy a newer car. I looked at Autotrader.com, and Cars.com for a Subaru WRX. A 2021 showed up at their dealership, and decided to go for a test drive. While waiting for the deal to be done we played pool in their gaming room. The deal was finalized, and I drove us back to Mooresville, NC. The dealers were awesome, and I will go back when I need something done. read more
