Good Ol'Fashioned Party created a stunning wedding reception for a gorgeous June backyard wedding. The decor was crafted to be meaningful for the families and their guests. But more importantly, they understood the couple and who they were was reflected throughout the event. They even used the front yard space and driveway to make a beautiful sit down area with low benches and pillows with lace wrapping around the yard to make for an intimate and private event. The way they transformed the space was magical and I'll never forget this wedding. They are willing to help you with whatever needs you have. The prices seem to be in reasonable ranges too. I did a little comparison of Knob Creek which I looked at in a store in Highlands Ranch just yesterday. The same expression of Knob is about $4 cheaper here. That is the beauty of those stores that are located 30 miles away from the central Denver. The aisles are so wide. This is a plus. You are at ease with pushing your cart not bumping into other shoppers. The floors are also so clean; absolutely spotless. The parking space is large as well. You'll never not see an open spot.

Pro Chic Events truly brought my vision to life. Throughout the process, Jessica became so much more than a wedding planner to us, she became our friend. They always say that the best feeling in the world is to be able to do something for someone that can never repay you...and that is certainly true for what Pro Chic events did for us. Jessica is always professional, timely and kept me on budget! She has an incredible eye for MY taste, always advocating for what I would like- not necessarily what she would choose. She has an amazing inventory to choose from, which not only saves you a lot of money, but also a ton of work too! Jessica is also very tactful when it comes to vendors. She was able to get an extra 2 hours with my videographer at no charge and worked closely with my photographer to ensure that we didn't miss our sunset photos. Whether it be offering to help my groom with his vows, putting my hair up halfway through the night, or decorating our honeymoon suite...this team did it all. I can honestly say that I had the perfect wedding. It may have been a total mess behind the scenes, but these ladies rocked it and ignorance IS bliss when it comes to your wedding day. There are so many little things that come with planning that I was unaware of. I have no idea how some people manage to do it without help. Fortunately, I didn't have to do it alone. Without Jessica and her amazing team at Pro Chic Events, I would have been completely and utterly screwed! She was a life saver of sorts for me. She was my wedding saver! She helped organize all of our vendors, establish a detailed timeline for the big day, designed all of our wedding flowers, and gave me a peace of mind that I never could have found without her help - (although, these things are really just the tip of the iceberg). She helped me to interpret and harness all of my ideas, and made sure that my vision for my wedding day was never compromised. My wedding day was beyond perfect, and worry free. We were offered to hold a "Get out and Vote" rally for a local school board election…read more Weeks prior, the manager of the Garden Room offered their venue to hold the event and confirmed the day and time. After advertising the event on social media, we arrived on the day of the event to set things up and the owner of the Garden Room told us to leave. We introduced ourselves and offered our hand for a handshake and he ignored it. We told the owner we had booked his venue with his manager. The owner said, "Well, They Didn't approve it with me!" and told us to leave. We had a friendly event planned and invited the opposition to attend. We found out later the owner has strong political views toward the ultra right and supports the opposition who wants to destroy public education by selling out our public schools for profit. Regardless of his political views, his manager scheduled his venue for this rally and the owner did not honor it on the day we were to hold it. Buyer beware. You cannot trust your event to be held here. Disgraceful!

Also there was absolutely no charge for this event at all. I am so incredibly sorry for the inconvenience it caused everyone that day. It's my knowledge that the event still happened just east of the venue so that attendees could still participate even if it wasn't as planned :( I no longer work at The Garden Room but I can say it's a wonderful venue with a tremendous staff and you will not be disappointed. Please don't let this one event that did not go well because of my actions ruin your future interest and bookings of this venue. *Please note that politics and the views of anyone affiliated with The Garden Room had nothing to do with the event not occurring at the venue it was solely my mess up that caused the inconvenience that day.
