I purchased two large windows and a sliding glass door replacement. Recently the sliding glass door shattered and I put in a warranty request. They had me send in pictures and without even coming out to look at it they denied my claim for warranty work. I purchased from them because they're supposed to be a reputable company, not so, they don't stand behind their product. I will never use them again for any work and I advise everyone to stay away. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Stay far away from this company. Sales guy Steven convinced my mom and I that they're the best option and that they would handle ANY problems they came across during installation. We agreed to pay nearly 15k for a very simple offering knowing that our peace of mind would be covered in case anything went wrong... New shower was installed in a day, which is what we asked for, but in retrospect they rushed the job. They came on July 3 and wanted to get to their vacation early. Anyways. I asked 3 times during the process if anything was wrong and was told everything's fine. Shower goes in, looks like what we ordered. We sign off and THEN the install lady confesses that they broke one of our floor tiles during the process. Had they would have just told us when it happened we could have provided a spare tile to swap out. Next day, upon closer inspection, we discovered major scratches on the top edges of the shower pan, and how inconsistent and sloppy of a silicone sealant job they did. The oil based silicone they used stays sticky for days, makes painting impossible, and comes off easy when you scrub it. Not the right material. We asked our sales guy to help to get someone out here to look at everything. THEY SENT THE SAME 2 PEOPLE WHO DID THE INSTALL TO CHECK THEIR OWN WORK. No higher up? No supervisor? They came with a little piece of transition material for the step out of the shower to HIDE the broken tile. Insulting. Why would they send the same people out to grade their own work? It went about how you'd imagine. Anyways, we were supposed to have some sort of solution proposed to us by end of day Friday July 11th. Today is Sat July 19 and we still haven't heard anything. The original documentation they emailed to my mom has a dead / expired link and she has asked our sales guy to resend the info a few times but guess what? Total ghost. She still doesn't have a contract for the work. This company's communication is that of a company who already knows they're going under. They must already know they're facing bankruptcy. Worst experience with this company. Project Manager/Sales person came out to assess and quote. Guaranteed us that he would be inspecting project to ensure everything was working properly and installed correctly. That was a big lie and the person/contractor who did the work never had a walk thru with us or made sure everything was working. The shower heads don't work and now they don't respond, unbelievable that they are still in business. I had Dream style to do our stucco. It cracked and grass pushed out the stucco in the side of the house. Instead of fixing it properly they just covered over it. They finally did come back to repair the over all cracking and the grass bulge. When redoing the stucco they took my awning off the house. When they reinstalled it, they put it on wrong the fabric was all twisted in the retractable roller. It then fell apart I can't use my awning at all! Parts are laying in the yard. This has been two years ago they are ignoring all my calls. They got my money that's all they wanted. The stucco has been paid off completely. I keep calling leaving messages, no return calls. Nothing but problems with the Tri Bolt lock, from 2020 installation, to the removal of the door and new one put in April 2025 and still no stucco no trim, and old damage screen door! We resurfaced our kitchen cabinets last July(2024). The cabinets are lovely however, there was a pock mark behind the handle of one door and a scratch on drawer that was noticed about a week later. We were happy at first with our new shower, but Dreamstyle Remodeling's service after the sale is horrible. We were told at installation to contact them if the shower head started leaking & it would be easily replaced. We have been contacting them for about 8-9 months to get ours replaced. They keep having excuses about why they can't repair or replace the shower head. They finally sent a representative to our home over a month ago. He was "ordering" us a new shower head. It was going to be installed in 10 days. We still have a broken shower head. Now they have contacted us to say we need to take a video of the shower head not working correctly & they will decide if we should get a replacement. We did that 3 weeks ago, haven't heard from them. We paid over $17,000 for our new shower and they are arguing with us over replacing a shower head!! According to the warranty, we AREN"T allowed to clean or replace it ourselves. We now need to make a claim about the base separating from the walls. I can only imagine how long we'll have to wait for that to be taken care of. We were told, as part of the sales pitch, that Dreamstyle would be available for repair issues at any time...broken glass, replacement silicone rubber parts, you name it. "Dreamstyle satisfaction." On July 28 2024, one of the doors in the sliding door was broken. It was not a warranty issue, we would pay for the replacement glass. It is now April of 2025 (8 months later) and we are still trying to get that replacement glass. It should have finally been built 2 weeks ago. No call. Won't return calls when we leave messages. Dreamstyle Remodeling will NOT honor the warranty. Dreamstyle did a full roof replacement (TPO) on my house in August 2023. I chose this company over others based in large part on the 20-year "no questions asked" warranty they offered. In August 2025, I noticed three spots where my roof is leaking. I contacted them in the hopes they'd come out to fix it, and they claim that they have no record of my warranty. I have an invoice showing the 20-year warranty as a line item, but they never sent me a warranty document when the work was done. They advised me to contact their third-party warranty company, which I've done, but Dreamstyle evidently never provided the warranty company any instructions to issue a warrant document to me. I've called seven times over the course of one month, left voice mails each time, and have only had my call returned once. Now, I'm dealing with water damage to the ceiling, walls, and carpet in one of the bedrooms, and no response from this predatory company. I've filed a complaint with BBB. Don't hire Dreamstyle to do any work for you, or if you do, don't count on them honoring an warranties they may issue. read more

I started a cabinet refacing project through Costco and the contractor is Dreamstyle. This was my 3rd project through Costco and the other 2 vendors were excellent. I was expecting the same customer service with this company. Unfortunately this has not been the case. The communication does not exist. They started the installation on 10/01/2024. There were 6 doors that had to be reordered. After several unanswered calls/messages in November, I was finally contacted to have someone come out in December to install the doors. The order was incorrect. When I called in January 2025 to get a status, after several calls I was contacted only to find out the reorder was never placed. After calling on the status in February I was called and given an appointment for 2/17/2025. No one showed up. I made 3 calls to the company to see if they were still coming and have not received a call back. I am at a loss. Had stucco redone 5 years ago and got a 7 year warranty on it. Recently this year I have noticed several cracks that have started to appear in the stucco and so I called in March to get someone to come look at them and then hopefully repair them since the work is still under warranty. THIS IS ALBUQUERQUE NM LOCATION!! If I could give a negative million I would! It started great with nice young man (Ben) coming out and providing a quote for our new French entry doors. He took a picture of the exterior and super imposed the door choices, (which none of the others offered) and this helped make our decision easier. Ben even offered to connect us with the stucco team for a couple jobs and repairs- we thought we struck gold! Ben provided a written quote before leaving, but assured me that I would have a digital quote with the mock-up door included by the following Tuesday. We had basically made the decision to go with Dreamstyle by the time he left. Monday came around and I received an e-mail from a Customer Relations Manager letting me know that he had seen the quote and if he could answer any questions, just let him know. By the following Thursday, I still not heard from Ben so I sent him an e-mail that got kicked back. I called and it went straight to VM, sent him a text....nothing but crickets. E-mailed the customer relations manager....crickets! Called the store, was assured a message was being given to both Ben and the relations manager...crickets! I have never tried so hard to give my money to a company for desired services. Very disappointed in this company and lack of concern for a couple with many pending projects. On April 23, 2019, Gerardo and Ruben installed our new shower, removed our garden tub and old shower and finished off the area that was a shower so we can make it a closet. I cannot tell you how very happy we were with their attention to detail, professionalism, work ethic and their care that we were happy with the process, product and their work. They not only worked their tails off, but stayed late so we wouldn't have to have them return the next day. We greatly appreciated that and know they had to be absolutely wiped out when they left our house after such long hours. You would never have known it though. They wore the same smiles and great attitudes when leaving as they did when they arrived. I'd like to point out how very observant these two men were. My husband had cleaned his cast iron skillet and was drying it on our gas stove. He forgot about it when he went to do something else. On one of their trips into our garage for material, the installers let us know the gas flame was still on. Had they not done so, we could have had a fire in our kitchen! That cast iron skillet was extremely hot and we were and still are, very grateful to Gerardo and Ruben for noticing that. I really don't even want to think about what could have happened without them letting us know. Both of these guys totally rock! They deserve to know that we appreciate them and that they certainly are assets to your company, in our opinions. We would recommend their work to anyone and were extremely impressed with what great team members DreamStyle employs. I E-mailed Dreamstyle as she requested and later that day was E-mailed by their "Director of Marketing". I responded with the information he requested, and the effort would have died right there if I had not kept after it: After our E-mail exchange, he could not find me in their system and apparently just left it at that and forgot about me. I did keep after it, so on 12/2/22 I received a text from the job scheduler for the Las Cruces area (who I referred to in my original post as slippery and unreliable). I replied with the information he requested on the repairs needed, and he said he would take care of it. When I had heard nothing further by 2/2/23, I again contacted the Director of Marketing to report the lack of progress. He has never responded. By my experience, these people cannot be trusted, and their customer-satisfaction pledge is worthless. I see that they also have some positive reviews, so all I can say is go ahead and give them a try if you are feeling lucky. But you now have no reason to be surprised if you are not. read more

Dreamstyle out of Albuquerque installed a new shower/bathtub in 2023. All went well with the installation, though I learned later that their price was way high. A year and a half went by, then the service nightmare began. There was flooding on the floors of the two adjacent bathrooms from a mysterious source. Two plumbers couldn't figure it out ($$ spent). Finally traced the source of the leak to the tub spout/diverter that Dreamstyle installed. It took weeks to get a call back from the warranty dept. Then weeks more to get a service technician to inspect. I wanted a different spout -- the only one they offer is longer than standard with a fussy diverter, and clearly vulnerable to problems. They promised to contact me with a choice of alternate spouts. 2 months later I'm still waiting for that call/email. I finally gave up and bought a new spout myself and hired my own plumber to install it (more $$). I lost 3 months rental income not being able to rent out the unit all during this time (major $$ lost). A service disaster. I so wish I had read the Yelp reviews before hiring them. I regret not reading Yelp reviews before I placed an order. The negative reviews are accurate. I ordered a Fireplace Gas Insert Log on 12/04/2021. The salesman, Jonathan Jaramillo, said that this item was in stock, & we were waiting for installation. It was December, so this seemed reasonable. I called back in January, February, & March. When I contacted Jonathan, he actually told me that it was his day off & he could do nothing (which is accurate). The receptionists, Tammy & Vanessa were very polite, as they explained that the fireplace insert was on order & no clue when it would arrive. They have a thankless job at Dreamstyle! We did get it installed, on April 6, 2022. In April, the new gas log fireplace insert is not exactly timely in NM!!! The custom shroud to surround the fireplace was also delayed, & arrived on 6/10/22, six months after we ordered. I understand the concept that logistics have been effected by Covid. I am willing to be patient. I am not impressed by the total lack of communication up front, that this is the reality, & a salesperson who is misleading, or downright hostile to the customer. I contacted Dreamstyle in order to get an idea of the cost to remodel the shower in our master bath. The two options are to install their acrylic panels and shower pan or find another company to remodel with tile and higher end finishes. The salesperson arrived on time, right on the dot. My first question: Are you vaccinated against Covid? He unapologetically said no, but he was willing to wear a mask. So beware these salespeople being sent to your house who don't deem it necessary to guard against a raging pandemic. We gathered around the kitchen table and he began his sales pitch, explaining what this company is and how wonderful they and their president are. He continued on for about 30 minutes talking non-stop. The longer he spoke about their wonderful company and products, the more I was convinced this was going to cost a small fortune for flimsy acrylic panels to be installed. After this lengthy presentation of who they are and how they do business, I tried to direct the conversation toward my goal of getting them to measure the shower and offer a dollar figure for the work to be done. I was advised they offer a "retail price" guaranteed for a full year. But that's the high price and nobody wants to pay that. The "best price" is the price they will quote if I sign a contract today, on the spot. Big red flag. I stated that I found this business tactic to be objectionable and if he was looking for a purchase commitment that same day, there was no point in continuing our meeting. My goal was to be able to price compare their acrylic panels with a tile installation. Their goal is to prevent you from doing that. It is sad that the ratings cannot go below a 1, for this is where I would take this review. This review is directed at the Albuquerque, New Mexico office, and not San Francisco, as labeled on the heading. After the very heavy rain in my hometown, I discovered that I had a leaking roof, and I contacted Dreamstyle Remodeling. I filled out their questionnaire and was contacted by someone from their Albuquerque office. They scheduled an appointment to meet with me, at my home, on a specific date and time. I specifically inquired to confirm that they would meet with me at my home since it is approximately a 200-mile travel distance. The lady with whom I spoke, stated that she would look into that and get back to me. A few minutes later, I received a text message from Dreamstyle Remodeling which stated the following: "Your roofing estimate is scheduled with Dreamstyle Remodeling. When? Tuesday, June 28 at 6:00 PM. Where?" and there, my specific address is included. The text goes on to say, "We care about getting you the BEST PRICE on your roofing project!" I rearranged my schedule to be available to meet with them and after waiting more than one and one-half hours, no one showed, no one called, and no one texted. Approximately 3 hours after that scheduled appointment, I received another text from Dreamstyle that stated, "We would love your help! Dreamstyle Remodeling's estimator should have met with you today about your roofing project... What feedback could you send us?" Is that not audacious? Today, I received a telephone call from Dreamstyle Remodeling inquiring about scheduling an appointment to evaluate my roof. When I explained to her, what I have just written about, she not only could have cared less, she informed me that they do not do roofing projects in my town. I told her, that would have been good information to have received 2 days ago. I also informed her that, although she apparently did not give a tinker's-damn, I base my selection of choosing a company for their services, based upon other customer reviews, and my review for them was not going to be favorable. Again, she could have cared less, cut my conversation short, and told me to "have a good day!" Again, is that not audacious? Needless to say, Dreamstyle Remodeling will have no part in my current repair needs, nor any remodeling project that I may have now, or in the future. I have read the many negative reviews posted here, and I have read the customer-service responses. It seems to me, that these responses are designed as an attempt to offset the negativity; a sort of damage control, if you will. What seems more apparent is the negative responses, many generated toward the same person, are never corrected, and the trend is business-as-usual. As one reviewer stated, "Shame on you!" What bothers me as much as the most discourteous service, as well as the demonstrated unprofessionalism I received at every level, is the fact that these circumstances do not seem to bother the corporate-level officers. Stakeholders are the reason you are in business, and you should be in business to succeed. It should be of paramount importance to take care of those who are responsible for your success.
