I wasn't so sure about this place when I heard about it, but I wanted to give it a try anyway. The storefront is very empty. There are a few things on the walls and a little counter to order at, but there is no seating or space that would encourage people to stay and hang out. The drinks themselves tasted a little artificial, too sweet, and watered down. However, I do like that they are involved with Too Good To Go. Also, the staff was very nice and prices are okay.
I happened to find Dreamy Drinks in the area after grocery shopping, so I decided to make a stop at their boba truck over the weekend. They claim they are the first Seattle boba truck, although they also have a B&M location in Marysville. I'm certainly not traveling all the way up there just for drinks, so I'm glad the truck is around! Classic Milk Tea w/ Boba, Iced 22oz, 50% Sweet, 50% Ice ($7.45) - This drink tastes watered down with a thin and weak black tea flavor and very light sweetness. The ice level is just enough to cool down the drink, so I don't think it's the over-addition of ice that contributes to the weak taste. While there's clearly creamer added to give a milky look, the taste is also not very apparent in the drink. It's like drinking tan colored water. This drink comes with boba by default. The boba seems to be soaked in a sugar solution, but probably not for very long given that the pearls are only very slightly sweet. They are pretty smooth, with a very thin velvety layer on the exterior, and have a pretty decent bouncy chew. This is one of the few places where I enjoyed the boba much more than the drink itself. Milk Tea Rating: 2/5 Boba Rating: 4/5 Overall, the drink I received was just okay. I don't think this is a food truck that I'll ever try to track down again, but if it happens to be at an event that I'm attending, I might get another drink.

Went to their store in Marysville, got a brown sugar boba and strawberry Yakult ( both drinks are decent nothing special ) They have a chagga mushroom drink that looks interesting but didn't order. Interior looks really cute with pink walls. Will come to try their other drinks.
My daughter told me they were in Kirkland so I went and it didn't disappoint. A kid took our order and he is SO professional! I really like the matcha drink and the boba is one of the best that I've ever had in Seattle. It is a great spot to go to grab a boba drink quickly.
Finally saw a Dreamy Drinks venue that aligned with my schedule perfectly and took the opportunity to try some drinks. They had a limited menu which was unfortunate as I was really interested in the dragonfruit yogurt. We ended up picking the Matcha Brown Sugar Boba Latte and Strawberry Matcha Latte. The drinks are pretty pricey being just under $8 before tip. The taste to price point ratio is fairly low because of this. Overall, there's a higher ratio of milk to anything else in many drinks and the upcharge doesn't quite hit it for me. Boba is chewy, but not sweet. Pretty decent boba but could be improved in that regard. Overall, enhances drinks here rather than being a jaw sore. Matcha Brown Sugar Boba Latte - the matcha is basically irrelevant here, so it really is a brown sugar boba fresh milk drink. Brown sugar is definitely noticeable and makes up the entire drink. Strawberry Matcha Latte - aesthetically, looks like Boba Guys which was neat. It's basically strawberry milk though. No hint of matcha whatsoever which was the main downside as you can find strawberry milk most anywhere and for cheaper.
Ran into this food/drink truck at the tulip town and what a HIT! I love that you can request for them to cater and their drinks are so delicious.

I'd pass on this. It's tastes too much like coffee which isn't what I'm looking for in a boba drink. MATCHA STRAWBERRY TEA: This is clearly trying to be like the famous drink from The Boba Guys. I didn't think this was horrible and I think I'd get it again! It can be a bit much so if you're looking for a light drink, this is not it. It's quite thick and filling. CLASSIC MILK TEA: Honestly, I got this at 75% sweet and it wasn't sweet enough. It's pretty watery and thin but it's not the worst I've had. SERVICE // There is quite a line every time I pass this truck! I can tell they try to accommodate the orders as fast as they can but it's not perfect. They messed up my drink two times but fixed it so I don't want to complain too much. Service can just be a little slow. OVERALL // 3 stars I describe this place as an opportunity go grab some boba when you're desperate and want a quick fix. I would definitely not go out of my way to get some Dreamy Drinks but if I didn't have any options and craved some boba, I'd maybe come back.
Love this little truck!! As some reviewers stated they did run out of the normal tapioca pearls on my day too but they were super sweet in recommending the other options they had and I ended up going with clear tapioca, my mom went with strawberry! Even without the tapioca the drinks would've been delish! (Also they're a truck so I think it's reasonable to expect things to sell out...) I got the strawberry matcha latte and my mom ordered the matcha latte- both were amazing! I loved that they had a medium and large size because I always want a smaller size at other shops but commonly I see one size only. They also had little dog treats for free so my pup was happy as well (:
Definitely a "once is enough" type of place. Their drinks are nothing special aside from the pretty packaging and the adorable truck. Their prices are high and their flavor is a bit lacking. Their fruit flavored drinks taste just like syrup mixed with sparkling water (and it's $5.50+ tax?!) The tea is also a bit overbrewed which you can taste if you're the kind of person who likes to order tea without much sugar. Their service was excellent and finding them was no problem. This place is great but I wouldn't come back again :/ I wish I liked them more because they looked so promising
I got their classic black milk tea (no boba because they ran out). It was 100% sweet and normal ice. I had them from their food truck coming onto the University of Washington Campus. I thought the drink was alright. Like it wasn't an insanely good milk tea because it didn't have a good balance between sugar, milk, and tea flavor. I think the tea flavor was pronounced mostly from the fact that the drink wasn't creamy. The drink felt like a milk tea that I could've made from home. There was some tea flavor, but not enough creaminess to make the drink feel like more than just normal tea. Also, the sugar content in the milk tea was really low for 100% sweetness. I'm surprised that it was their level. Sure, the packing was pretty. But they also forgot my drink during the consistent flow of people that they were serving. They checked in with me directly, which was nice, but still something to note. I also tried my friend's sparkling strawberry drink and I didn't like it. The drink was over carbonated, sharp strawberry taste (not like pronounced, just uncomfortable), and just because it's pretty doesn't mean it's good. Overall bubble tea shop rating: 5/10
I've gone to a couple of events recently that had Dreamy Drinks, and I am a HUGE fan of their mini boba sizes! I feel like it's the amount I want to taste any single boba. \ This is especially true because.. I find their tea okay/mostly too sweet. Even on lower sweet levels, this particular boba place tends to use sweet syrups. Additionally, I don't personally like their boba; I find it a little on the flavorless side. Overall, not my favorite option for tea/boba, but I like having them as a truck option! read more

Tried their peach tea and boba at the Camp Yelp event. I'm not a tea person, but the fruit at the bottom of the peach tea drink was freaking fire. Nice job making me a believer! read more

This is by far the best bubble tea I have ever had. And I worked at a shop for years. Taro Smoothie - is very smooth and just the right amount of sweetness. This was the first beverage I tried seeing that taro is usually a safe first bet. I was instantly "nom nom nom" at my drink so my wife asked for a sip and now she is hooked! Everyday it's "where is Dreamy Drinks today?" I've created a monster! Boba - not chewy and freakin fantastic every single time. CONSISTENCY has been the greatest factor. I hate going to boba shops and getting something different every time. Their boba is consistently delicious. Right amount of sweetness. Not over done. Black Tea- was so smooth and satisfying. Great caffeine kick. Strawberry Smoothie - this is what I want on a hot day. It was SO FREAKIN REFRESHING. I gave myself a stomach ache because I drank it so quickly. I couldn't get enough! Next time I'll try with boba. Matcha Latte - their matcha is a great combo of smooth and sweet. This was the second beverage I tried and I didn't regret it one bit. I love pink and I love unicorns so this boba truck definitely caught my eye. My friend and I ordered the brown sugar latte and the strawberry matcha latte (two of their more popular drinks). The cups are unique and so cute. They're really killing the aesthetic game! Strawberry matcha latte: To really get the full taste, I would recommend using a coffee stirrer to mix it. It is a little stronger on the strawberry side than on the matcha side but it was still really tasty! But the blend in general was great since I was able to taste both strawberry and matcha. Brown sugar: this one was really good. The boba was super chewy and the drink is going to be sweet from the brown sugar but that's just its trait. So if you're not a person into super sweet things I would recommend getting another drink. Based off of the menu, I did think some of the drinks didn't seem worth it for the price (like the sparklers) because it seemed like flavored soda? Haven't tried it yet though so I can't say too much. Just thought that it was a little expensive for what I'm getting which is why I opted for the lattes. Overall, would come back again if I can track down their truck! I also loved how they have dog treats for owners who are passing by with their dogs. read more
4 stars for Seattle bubble tea, 2.5 stars for my standard. I had the Ovaltine crema with tapioca. It was a ok. The Ovaltine is not fully cold, more to a warm side..Not even chill is warm! And the tapioca is only a small hint of brown sugar. I can tell it's cooked with water then soaked in brown sugar instead of cooking with the brown sugar. The creama is basically cream cheese flavor cream. Had better before so this is really mild and took me a while to get the flavor. Texture also is more liquid than creamy. Yup, basically a total disappointment. But hey I knowwww it's Seattle! Also they have Ovaltine creama in the first place already made them somewhat special here. I guess I would recommend it if you want the experience.. but is it really worth a try? Depends. Hard to judge because it's already consider great milk tea for Seattle, but for Asian born this is really mediocre. I could give this a 3 stars but the fact that they have so many unique flavors that I can't find in Chinatown/ anywhere in Seattle? Well, that makes them a 4 stars. Food truck business is hard and for a bubble tea food truck is probably even harder. Can tell their vibe is more a instaworthy cup than for an actual tasty drink. read more

My friend is obsessed with this place so I finally decided to try it. Strawberry matcha latte- get this!!! It was definitely unique and very delicious! It wasn't too sweet but not as watered down as I thought it would be (other reviews say it is very watered down). They have this topping called crystal boba which you just have to try because it's different. I'm not sure how to describe the taste but the texture was chewy yet jello-y? My friend is obsessed with the taro bubble tea. I refuse to try it because I'm not a fan of taro but I'm gonna go ahead and tell you if you like taro, you should definitely try it!! You can't go wrong with it. Normal milk tea- was actually really good! It tasted very authentic and actually reminded me of home when my mom used to make me milk tea when I was younger. I havent tasted any milk tea like that in ages!!! It's not super sweet which is really nice. Definitely check this place out! It's usually located right outside of Sephora at Westlake! read more
I love this place! I get off at Westlake station every day when I'm coming home from work and it's a challenge each day deciding whether I should let myself indulge in some of their milk tea. I had recently just discovered the oh-so-wonderful milk tea from Happy Lemon so I was not expecting this to even compare, but I was happily surprised. The milk tea was delicious! It's not as great as Happy Lemon milk tea, but it's definitely a great substitute for when I don't want to bus all the way to Bellevue Square for it. I love that it's very sweet and tastes like real, quality ingredients. I recommend getting it with the cheese foam. So yummy! I've also tried their taro smoothie and this is SOOO good! This item they definitely do better than Happy Lemon. I think they use a combination of the powder and real taro because the pretty, bright purple color is definitely powder-esque, but there are also chunks of real taro in it--yay! It's really delicious and I can't wait for it to get warmer so that I don't freeze even more on my walk home cuz I'm drinking this. The customer service is great and I love the aesthetic of their truck, as well as the presentation of the drinks. Super cute cups and pink heart stoppers. I'll definitely continue to be a regular at this cute boba truck. read more
Not sure why it surprised me to see a boba/bubble tea drink truck. But Dreamy Drinks has lightened up the Seattle scene with their dreamy unicorn boba truck. Their menu isn't too crazy, but some of their short term lingo was a bit confusing. For instance there are a couple drinks that has the words "no coffee", next to it. It means that you can ADD coffee to some of their drinks if you need that extra caffeine hit. Looking at the menu they will make other drinks upon request. Not sure how crazy you can get but someone go try it out! All their drinks range between $4-$6. Some including toppings some not. If you want to add toppings they are an extra $0.50. Only 2 of their drinks can come hot their classic milk tea with boba and the jasmine green tea with boba. I ordered the well known Strawberry Matcha Latte $5.50, & you get a free topping when you check-in with Yelp. I'd advise to change the sweetness level... then again I'm old ... and can't handle my drinks as sweet as I use too. For bubble tea on the go, Dreamy Drink is alright. But not the best I've had in Seattle. I have other favourite spots in downtown Seattle. But good job Dreamt Drink, you've brightened my day and made me a bit sweeter. read more

I first discovered Dreamy Drinks in Redmond after work with my friend! We were so excited to find a new boba spot. Whenever I find a new place with great aesthetics I am even more curious to find out if the quality of the drinks live up to the hype. In this case, yes it did! Their menu has some staple drinks but they also have some flavors that get switched out so you gotta keep up with their social media to find out what is new and what drink flavors they are bringing back. - I personally love the Brown Sugar Boba Latte & I get almond milk (~$7) for the large but I love all their drinks. - Social distancing is put in place, customers need to wear masks, and staff wear masks&gloves. - The service is always great as well read more
Good selection of drinks and ended up going with the strawberry matcha latte with boba. The matcha flavor paired with the sweetness of the strawberry was delicious. The boba was a bit over cooked in my opinion but still provided a nice chew. It was beautifully layered and packaged. They even use the compostable boba straws keeping it green. I would recommend a visit to this truck this place if you see them set up. read more

Dreamy Drinks has a menu worth exploring, from teas to smoothies and much more. My friend and I checked their schedule and saw that they set shop at Westlake Park every week, so decided to go on a Tuesday after work. While my friend ordered the Strawberry Matcha Latte I ordered the Taro Smoothie (I can't ever resist taro!). When you check in on Yelp at Dreamy Drinks you get a free topping, so we both went with the boba. Drinks didn't take long to get, despite there being a line of peeps waiting for orders. The drinks sure did look pretty! However, my friend mentioned that her Strawberry Matcha Latte tasted watered down, so didn't have as much of that matcha flavor she hoped for. I did like my Taro Smoothie. I ordered mine with zero sugar and less ice, and have to say, it tasted sweet even without sugar. Taro flavor was certainly there and liked that it didn't have a lot of ice blended with. I would definitely get the Taro Smoothie again, and recommend for any taro fans to try. Plus, since I added boba to me, I quite enjoyed it! Boba texture was perfect. Because Dreamy Drinks has a menu with so many intriguing beverages, I have my eye on a few others that I want to try. The cups are super cute and the presentation is eye catching, but I would rate 3 stars for flavor. I was expecting this to be a truck with different bubble tea smoothie flavors, but they only had strawberry. How does a truck that advertises taro bubble tea in their pictures not have taro? I ended up ordering a strawberry matcha latte with crystal boba. It was pretty, but the flavor was not mouth watering and there was only a little bit of boba at the bottom. My daughter ordered the ovaltine cremosa, and was not blown away either. Basic ovaltine, which was overpriced. My friend ordered a sparkling soda because she was interested in the edible glitter, but was also not impressed by the flavor. Overall great presentation. read more

I'm super stoked that dreamy dreams came by our neighborhood this week! I have been following them on Instagram for a while, hoping to find their unicorn truck nearby. They serve various drinks mainly bubble tea. I got their brown sugar boba latte while my boyfriend got the strawberry matcha latte. I thought the drinks were pretty good but a bit pricey than some stand alone places. I get it, they're trying to make money too but a 16oz boba shouldn't be costing $5 imo. The staff were friendly and working hard during the summer heat. Do give them a try when you spot them. They update their locations on Instagram weekly. read more

Decent tea and decent tapioca. Not the best but also not the worst ive tried. The packaging is cute, theres not much other to say about this drink. I dont think ill come back to try other drinks but if you are desperately looking for boba and everything else is closed you could come here. read more

10/10 aesthetic Boba was good consistency, but the matcha strawberry latte I ordered tasted like faintly flavored strawberry milk. I wonder if I got only the last bits of the supposed strawberry (see picture) because it looked nonexistent/ diluted with milk and nothing like the other pictures on Yelp and their Instagram. I got more of the tiny strawberry seeds than any strawberry fruit bits or flavor. The matcha could also stand to be a lot stronger. read more
My client has been telling me about this place so I've been trying to hunt their truck down through their schedule that they post on Instagram. Lucky for me, they do come to Eastgate Bellevue which is super close to my work! You can't miss the truck, it's a cutesy pastel colored truck with a unicorn on it. The drinks are what you expect it to be, cute packaging to match the truck for photos. Lol. There's some signature drinks on their menu. The strawberry matcha is a popular choice. Spotted this boba truck by accident on Friday, and decided to give it a try. Obviously what stands out is their superb marketing. Uniquely designed cups, stoppers, logo, etc. Everything about this place screams Instagram. The drink itself is easily better than Oasis and on par with Young Tea. I ordered the black tea with cheese foam and boba. What I appreciated off the bat is that the standard flavor is not overly sweet like most boba chains. No need to ask for half or little sugar. They also don't overdo it with the ice, maximizing the tea to ice ratio. Ona related note, the black tea flavor comes through and doesn't taste diluted from melted water. Cheese foam seems to be the trend the last few years, and I'm sold. It's a good subtle combination, and Dreamy Drinks delivers here. In terms of the boba balls themselves...they're fresh, smooth, with good firmness to them. But if I'm being nitpicky, I was left wanting on chewiness. That - and honestly not enough boba for the price (~$5.50 for a medium drink at a food truck) - are the two reasons why it falls short of 5 stars. Dreamy is the perfect word to describe the drinks here. I love everything about this truck! It's purple, has a unicorn for its logo, and it serves bubble tea! Ballard doesn't have bubble tea options and I was thrilled when this truck was posted nearby. I hope it becomes a frequent location! This truck seems to be primarily in downtown Seattle based off the schedule I've seen so far, but check their IG for updates. All the pictures on their Instagram look beautiful! There is so much variety, I wanted to try them all. I settled on one of their specialty drinks; strawberry matcha latte. I added boba and it was delicious! It came out to be about $6 which seems in line for a speciality drink. The cup was so cute! It came with a stopper that was a pink heart. Literally exploding with cuteness! There are two slots to easily insert straws (thick and thin). Less of mess than trying to jam it in like most bubble tea places, so I appreciate the thoughtfulness of that lid design. I can't wait to come back and try more drinks. I love that they did a bubble tea truck, it's something that was missing in the Seattle food truck scene. Everyone should come check them out. read more
