I've been going here for years. The last two times I've been there, they messed up my coffee order, didn't give me my change, and the barista was rude. When I pulled up the barista was talking all about her personal life, (very inappropriate) and when I pulled up she seemed like I was bothering her! I think she is new because I've only seen her a few times, but every time I've been there she was rude, and very unprofessional. I will not be going back! Taking my business elsewhere. read more

it is so sad that if I was to stop there and get a coffee then my coffee is up over seven dollars and that is ridiculous. Coffee stands are gonna go under I have been a customer for many many years and it's sad to think that I'm gonna have to stop to the prices of drinks to add a little bit of milk to absolutely ridiculous. I feel very hurt by the company that I've stayed faithful through so I have heard that many others feel the same way prices are way too high prices of living have gone up way too high. A strong "nope" from me. It's been years since I have purchased a coffee from Locals. During my commuting days I used to stop several times a week so I'm very familiar with the stand and never had a bad experience. Today I was heading toward the freeway and decided to stop for an Almond Latte. The car in front of me had a couple dogs hanging out the window begging for treats. As I waited and watched the dog activity I wondered how that all works with the health department? Dog heads encroaching the outside counter and slobber on the surface???? I still wanted coffee badly enough that I stayed the course and pulled up to place my order. The barista was friendly and I held my tongue about the dogs. She handed me my coffee and said "we are not passing your receipt through the window any longer for you to sign or add a tip..... do you want me to add a tip for you?" I was kind of taken aback at this approach and mentioned it. I didn't feel comfortable giving someone else the leeway to add in their own tip without me actually writing it on the receipt. I asked why the stand was operating this way and the barista said the old way took too long and this way saved time. In my head I'm thinking that this very same employee spent time with the dogs and dog owner... but they don't have time for me to review my receipt so I can add my own tip? I was a bit flustered and told her to add .70 cents to the total (typical for me is .50 - 1.00 for a coffee). She had asked me if I wanted a stamp card and I changed my mind after the interaction. I said I probably wouldn't be back and I had changed my mind about the card. By now her friendly demeanor had left and she was now acting rude and dismissive to me. She handed me my receipt and upon taking a closer look tonight I see she opted to not add the .70 to the total. I know coffee stands are a dime a dozen but this stand always stood out as clean, efficient and staffed with friendly employees. That was not the case today and this is an odd change to the tipping debacle of the past couple years. Nothing like making it even more awkward and weird. As a side note the coffee was luke-warm, there was no froth at all and the slight trace of almond flavor tasted like the sugar free brand. read more

Love the drinks that come from here. Especially the red bull chargers. Make sure you get a punch card and you can get punches and redeem your free drink at any of the 3 locations. And it's valid for any drink including energy drinks and you can get up to any size 24oz with just stamps and a 32oz if you have 5 32oz stamps on your card. They even have a kids punch card and they're kids drinks are super cheap and just the right size for little kids. And if your lactose intolerant there's multiple options for milk substitutions. read more

The girl that took our order was extremely friendly but not the fake I'm trying to get a tip type of friendly, and the drinks (eggnog latte & fruit smoothie) are awesome too! Drove through this coffee stand on a road trip, and loved everything we ordered. I was especially impressed by the chai tea latte - it may just be the best one I've ever had! They had a good selection of caffeinated drinks, and plenty of baked goods (including gluten-free options). The prices were standard, the barista was (perhaps a bit overly) perky, and our drinks were quickly prepared so we could get back on the road. Great location for travelers. When I moved to Marysville I had to find a stand near my house because I wasn't about to drive 15 minutes to my own every day I had off. Locals has been nothing short of fabulous! I cant even give this place a star ! I had a horrible experience today at Locals It all started with door dash getting my order wrong and I had to drive to locals and I was treated so rude. They were so mean saying that door dash had my order right even though I pulled my order up on my phone? these girls who work there today are horrible they need some training on how to treat paying customers I have been going to locals for years and today will be the last time I go and on top of that they made my drink wrong again !!! Im sure they did it on purpose . learn how to treat people with respect I know if I treated people they way they did today I would probably loose my Job This place does not even deserve 1 star!!! read more
