I've been here a couple of times and I enjoy it each time., I hurriedly and hungrily stop in. Certainly a healthier option than just about anything I could get in central Marysville. The owner is friendly, assertive, and efficient. She gets that people sometimes need to stop in quickly. I like the concept! Tasty plant based options: açai bowls, fruit smoothies, ok I don't know what else, but I'm gonna find out! I feel welcome here and that's a good feeling when you're grabbing a quick bite. It's not cheap, but the ambience is quaint, if you want to stay and eat there, they do have a few spaces for that. read more

Waited an hour for 1 Acai Bowl and a Mocha espresso which I ended up canceling the order entirely for three reasons: - They mentioned the wait would be 25 mins. - People who ordered after me started getting served. When I went to check on my order I was met with a bunch of attitude pointing to a sign that they don't serve fast food and they only have two blenders. When I brought up one example of a person who ordered explicitly after me had been served before me, they said she had ordered before me (the customer let us go in front of her because she was still deciding when we came), waited 40 mins (when we had as well), and they fulfilled her order because she cancelled another part of her order... - If you only have two blenders, why are you blending other orders ahead of mine? A bunch of people ordered smoothies 30 mins after me and were all getting their orders shortly after purchasing. Very disappointed, especially as I had been 2 purchases away from filling up my rewards card with them and had not experienced treatment/wait time like this before. It also didn't help that today is my mom's birthday and we had to deal with this hassle. read more

Let me just say, good things happen to those who wait. There are a lot of mixed reviews regarding wait times. I get it, but choose wisely and plan ahead. It's not fast food and the girls work as fast as they can and always with a smile on. My first 6 orders were through DoorDash and I was hooked. The convenience factor and quick delivery to my address was prime. I wfh in the morning with my baby and it's hard to eat before going into the office and it helps! My husband and I went in a few weeks ago before going to our favorite nursery and made a nice little trip out of it. They were upfront that it would be about a 30-40 minute wait while they worked on prior orders. We ordered a tropical sunrise bowl, bagel and cream cheese, lotus and white mocha. We walked around and visited some shops to kill time and it didn't feel as long as it probably was. My husband and baby pick up my bowls lately and he always comes back with a story about how they go above and beyond. Stop by! read more

I was craving a smoothie and totally forgot about this spot. I got to meet the owner, Angela. She's so friendly and was talking about her business and the most popular flavors. I wanted a sweet smoothie and she recommended the peach pear & apricot one. Delicious! She makes her smoothies nice and thick too. Decent prices at $6 for 16 oz & $8 for 24 oz. The girls in there are great, very nice and welcoming the second you walk through the door! However, the smoothies I'm not so impressed with. The size is large, which is a plus given the price. The smoothie itself has sort of a sour, tart taste to it that I can't pinpoint why it would taste that way. I like their no added sugar schtick. Their smoothies and bowls are very good. They're nice people but i didn't love the sizing/pricing. I'd rather get half the size with half the price since I ended up just tossing 1/3 of it. It's too much. It also takes sooooo long. We were standing outside waiting for 22minutes. 2 orders were ahead of us, but 22 minutes?? And all their outdoor patio chairs were locked up so you can't even sit and wait. Again, it was very good, very refreshing. But I probably won't be back based on time & price. read more

The amazing ladies who work/own this shop are amazing and so friendly l. They had recommendations for us and so welcoming. My açaí bowl was great! It is definitely a lot and you won't be disappointed if you are hungry. You can pick your own toppings which is great and the quality is super fresh! After a hard morning of working out is sweating with cardio, I took a trip to Spoon & Straw and was blown away that I could have and Acai bowl. When I lived in San Diego by the beach, I loved eating fruit bowls, and this just gives me that healthy breakfast with a feeling of San Diego. Not only is it a delicious fruit bowl, but it has amazing ingredients and you can even add protein powder! The owner is so nice and generous and just has an amazing soul. The food is definitely worth the wait! My wife and I will be coming here from now on at least once a week! read more

Price is high and takes a while to get your bowl. They don't soak chia seeds just throw on top like a topping which was weird so don't add those on. Seating only outside with no shade. When you order only 3 people can be in there comfortably so weird to shuffle around people when busy. I only go here cause it's close to me. read more

Yum! Only good, fresh açaí I've seen in the area. I was going back and forth between 3&4 stars because of the price but figured the hard work the employee put in warranted a 4 star. Love this place, it's my favorite weekend treat. We had really been lacking for an açaí place in the area so I'm pretty glad this place opened up! The staff is very nice, and they will bring your bowl out to your car when it's ready. I like both the açaí and Pitaya bowls, but I think the Pitaya is now my favorite! I love that their bowls are naturally vegan and the granola is gluten free. These bowls are generously sized, so expect it to be a full meal! Love their açaí bowls. Only thing I don't like about the bowls is that they only come in one size. I wish they had a smaller portion so I don't have to waste it. This might be a healthy dish, but when it's as large as it is, you're consuming a lot of calories and all the toppings can be fattening. I made my own bowl with açaí, granola, berries, bananas, and peanut butter. It was oh so delicious. I am happy that Marysville has a place to get these amazing bowls of goodness. read more

The smoothie was delicious! The person helping me on the other hand needs some customer service training. I ordered a protein shake and an americano, her answer was, "the coffee machine is broken so I won't be giving you that." No apologetic smile, no anything. Very authoritative in tone like I just asked her for her debit card and PIN number. Probably won't be going back. read more

Let me start by saying I've never had anything like this before so I don't have anything to compare it to, but our experience here was great. My sister wanted to go here (she'd been before) and I was just along for the ride but I'm glad I checked it out! Friendly and helpful service, huge servings, gorgeous presentation, cute facility, and of course, tasty! I went with the traditional Acai base for my first visit but I'm excited to return and try the 'dole whip' style base that isn't on the menu yet. They also have a Pitaya base for anyone wondering. A bowl comes with four toppings and I added an extra. I think I paid $20 after tip but I couldn't finish my bowl in one sitting and I am a big eater! Given the freshness and quantity of food received as well as the service provided, I don't have any issue with the price point. The owner was working the counter and she helped me through the menu, and even offered to walk our food across the street to where we were parked when it was ready. She was busy and we were fine so we just waited out front but the offer was much appreciated! My one critique, if you want to call it that: I do wish a smaller size was offered! The one size they have is a meal in itself, where I was expecting a snack! lol Spoon and Straw is a fun addition to the area and I'll definitely be back! read more

This place is amazing! I am a San Diego transplant where there are multiple juice bars that serve Açaí Bowls to choose from. I have tried almost every açaí bowl coffee shop in the Seattle area. Açaí ( & ) + PITAYA ( & ) = ... also I inadvertently met the owner (Angela) who was out at their first outdoor seating of the season. She was extremely sweet and knowledgeable about her craft. She explained Pitaya to us cuz we never had it and now we hooked . dragonfruit made pitaya on the sweeter side instead of the tart side of açaí (which we still love)! Went here back in October. I was passing through the town and sorta stopped here by chance. I believe it was the owner I spoke with, she was very kind and very patient. She was eager to explain how things are made at her shop & was very accommodating as I am super picky. I had her make my smoothie bowl without banana cuz I can't stand the stuff. They made wonderful suggestions that turned out to be my new favorite! Espresso options keep me going through out the day! We had tiers for our desserts and sandwiches. There was a variety of six different sandwiches and about five different desserts. I really liked the jalapeño jam sandwich, it was different and I also liked the bread pudding. In the middle tier of the desserts there were these big scones and we each chose our topping. I was expecting the topping to be in a ceramic container but it was in a plastic one. Nothing particularly bad about that just something to note! To be clear, this is a cafe, not a full blown restaurant. They serve luncheon fare, but it's a small operation so be either patient to don't bother - especially if there's a line. It's counter ordering with payment expected in advance. The tables closest to the window are a *little* harrowing because of the ADA ramp that leads to the door: the closest chairs can teeter down the ramp if the chairs are pushed back too far. Be careful. There are huge, regular, and small tables available. The biggest table is a little tricky to navigate for folks who want to sit in the booth side, but once seated it's quite lovely. I ordered the Pesto Pasta (involving zoodles: zucchini noodles) and a Sun Juice. My friend ordered the Grilled Cheese and Bisque. Please note: it's worth looking around this place while waiting for your food. You can conceivably get your own water, napkins and cutlery if you walk far enough along the counter towards the back of the restaurant. Back there, you may also notice a single-occupancy restroom and bins for bussing your own dishes. The Sun Juice arrived first, freshly blended, and was delicious. If that's what their juice is like, I look forward to exploring their smoothie offerings. My pasta arrived looking BEAUTIFUL on a bed of spinach, and smelled just as good. It tasted a teensy bit more of salt than I would've liked, but then I speared a sun dried tomato with my next bite and remembered that I'm not a food critic, just a happy customer. Although I'm not generally a fan of zoodles, they seemed to have the art of cooking them down pat: they didn't distract from the pesto at all. The bisque had an artful design of (coconut? cashew?) cream on top. My friend was delighted to note that it was a bit of spice to it: nothing challenging, but just enough for her to find comforting. Given the light and airy look of the inside and the rather rustic / flower-child look of the outside, she was not expecting that surprise. She was so impressed with the grilled cheese sandwich that she offered me a bite: we were both quite impressed with the "cheese" they used, as the item was listed as vegan on the menu. My friend kept whining that she's doomed, as they're close to where she lives *and* they deliver. Oh, yeah - poor her, indeed. Alas, alack, and so on.
