I went in got sat down 2 minutes within getting there. The lady asked what I wanted and I told her I wanted a pedicure and that I wanted acrylic French tips. There was no problem with that. And I had explained to her I wanted them to be slightly longer than my natural toenail. But then continues to just put acrylic on my natural nail and not with the plastic tips. Even though that's not what I wanted, but she continues putting that on instead of telling me later, that my toenails are "too short" and "too small" to have acrylic tips on them, and that if I don't come back in time they'll grow "fungus" under my nails. It was excuse after excuse. So at this point I'm getting charged 65$ for acrylic when it looks the same as gel. She then asks me if I want polish or gel for the tips, but that get is an extra 10$ on top of the 65$. So I end up getting regular white polish and they're rounded and just not what I asked for. Also she didn't clean or cut around my toes. Everything felt rushed and she didn't seem like she cared that I wasn't getting what I asked for. read more

No, she didn't clean behind my nails. She didn't push my cuticle back to then clean my cuticle. Didn't scrub my feet right to remove my callus she exfoliated my feet for about less than a minute she rushed through the service and didn't add a top coat on my nails as she was leaving she said "You pay now because I leaving" and I replied to her no my nails aren't even dry yet and she said "it's because I leaving you leave tip or give me tip now" and got mad when I said no to giving her a tip and everyone there was just rude the lady that did my gel manicure did such a bad job? She proceeded to dip all nails..then she started doing the base coat. I was a walkin wanting a pedi cure. I asked for the basic and was sat down immediately. I soaked my feet and in just a few minutes she had me put both feet on the towel. I have never in all my life had such an uneventful service. She hardly did much. Instead of pushing my cuticles back she gently touched each nail and pushed back one. She did not trim but one nail AND when she used the cuticle clipper she barely clipped any of the skin that needed trimming. The callous scrub was just as lackluster. The lady who did my nails was very aggressive, ruand seemed to be rushing the whole time even though they weren't super busy, and even if they were I had an appointment and customers deserve to have the service they are paying for done carefully and correctly. Due to her rushing I was cut multiple times on multiple fingers. Plus the design I asked for wasn't complicated and she failed to make it how I asked, she didn't even use the right colors(I did try to correct her but she didn't understand). I kept reminding them throughout my pedicure and they made my toes round. When I brought up that they were not square they began talking amongst themselves in their language and I could tell they were annoyed. Ramona doesn't have a lot to choose from in nail salons. To avoid having to drive down the hill, sometimes I find I have to settle for "just okay." Trust me when I say that Dreamy isn't even just okay. I gave this place 3 chances, but I'll NEVER go back. I've had a simple mani-pedi here, as well as a full set with French tips and follow-up maintenance. The lady who did my mani-pedi does not understand English, although she pretends to. She works at an oddly rapid pace. So you'll probably walk out of there having received the wrong service that was so hastily done that it looks unfinished and messy. The man who works there has odd mood swings and can be surly and unpleasant. He injured my fingers with a sanding tool and did not even look up or stop when I cried out in pain. I hate to leave a bad review, but I'm just not impressed. I paid for a $55 pedicure which felt like a basic pedicure. My pedicure came with the paraffin wax but they didn't even put in enough to cover my feet. The massage was minimal, she set the timer for 15 minutes and pushed lotion around on my legs, it really wasn't a massage. They didn't offer me water or a drink. I usually go down the hill in Santee to a place that gives a great pedicure for $35, drink included. I have no problem paying for a more expensive pedicure if they do a good job. They were very friendly and nice, that's why I gave 2 stars. Unfortunately I won't be back. This was my 2nd time here with similar experiences. read more

I wanted to support a local business and decided to give them a try. I should have went down the hill. As I walked in I was welcomed with a horrible chemical smell. The chemical smell was overwhelming. I should have took that as a sign and walked out then. I went for a mani and pedi with French tip. Over the phone the guy told me it would be $38 dollars for both. To my surprise it came to a whopping $75 dollars by the end of it. I felt cheated but they had already started doing my nails. I'm never going here again. Not only was I lied to but I thought with that expensive cost my nails would be spectacular. Nope. They were average with bubbles. Nice comfortable place. Staff very friendly and polite. No one in cell phones while working so they can give full attention to customers. I was sitting next to a 96 yr old gentleman who's friend surprised him with his first pedicure. He kept saying I'm so embarrassed and all us gals just smiled and said it's an adventure relax. Not sure when this happened but I guess if you have gel toes and want regular polish they charge an extra $5 so if someone gets you a gift card just remember you have an xtra charge to add to it. Felt rushed after I told them it was stupid for the extra charge. The man who greeted me spoke fairly good English, and the nail techs were nice, but the mani/pedi I got were done really quickly and not very well. I asked that my toenails be cut short, and after they cut them twice, they still were too long but rather than ask again I just left them as they were. Very little cuticle care, very little scrubbing of the feet. The woman who did my mani/pedi repeatedly asked if I wanted gel or a design, even after telling her no more than twice. I decided to do a design on my ring fingers, and asked for a star. I thought she was going to paint something on them the way she was talking about it - she put decals on my nails. I will not be going back to them. Here's how I ended up there: I'm new to the Ramona area (here less than two weeks). Moved from L.A. so I'm used to nice nail salons. Had to take a family member for a hair cut and went to Supercuts in Ramona, CA so I asked the girls there where a good nail salon in town was. They said they'd heard good things about Dreamy Nails. Visiting this place recently for my nails. Vi was helping me with both my medi and pedi. She is very nice and funny. She really tries to get to know her customers so it made my experience personable. She takes her time with my nails. Unlike a couple other places that I have been where people rush all the time so they can move on to the next customer. I highly recommend this place. It's quiet and relaxing. Also if Vi is available when you visit, I would suggest have her do your nail. You won't be disappointed. :) read more

I went in today for a pedicure ( way overdue ) and I have to say that I was 100% satisfied. I'm not sure of the gentleman's name that did my pedicure, but he took his time and my toes look great.
