As soon as my lady got to nail number three for my fill, I knew this wasn't gonna be what I wanted , I ask a few times to have them re shapped. An unfortunately my needs weren't met. The shape is the worst . Just moved here so I needed a new shop, was hoping this was it , things are unsanitary, utensil sitting on the floor , employees using cell phone during procedures causing the tools to be unsanitzed . With touching everything then the tools . And basic pedicure literally was very basic . I didn't even receive a three minute Massage.I honestly won't be back. So we always run a risk going to different salons. But I was new to the area and thought I'd give em a shot. Pedicure was great, foot massage was an actual massage not a quick 3 second rub. My manicure however ... ouch. I hate negative reviews but here it is: I was getting my pedicure so she was doing my acrylic set at an angle and they turned out completely crooked - like noticeably my boss even commented on them!!! The edges were interesting, the acrylic didn't even go up to my uncut cuticles it was a wreck. I paid to get them redone at a different salon three days later. read more

Didn't mention extra costs and painted a flower on my feet without asking (basically took advantage of a customer). I selected the $40 option and she added an extra 10 for gel without mentioning it to me and painted a flower having me pay at the end $55 which is not at all what I could have afforded. It was already done at the end so I paid and it's standard to tip so in the end it cost me $60 for a pedicure . This is beyond messed up. On top of that the gel top coat was cured too far to my actual skin, the paint is uneaten on my toes , and my callus was not removed and I had very little :( read more

I got the soothe and smooth pedicure because I wanted the callous remove and the extra minutes of foot massage, but the lady didn't really remove all callous. I mean I don't have much but my feet don't feel smooth after she did it and the foot massage was so uncomfortable. She had long nails, so the whole time it just felt and was actually just scratching me. When it came to putting the polish she rushed through it and then ran out. I'm guessing she had more important things to do then to make a customer happy. I like this place just because it's around the corner, but I won't be coming back. I rather wait to go to la and go to my regular nail place out there. read more

First time ever getting a fungus under my own nail. I don't see any evidence of trying to clean each instrument used for manicure. I was told by the State of California Barber and Cosmo Department the establishment had to use heat or cold sterile. My daughter and I went to this place based on Yelp recommendations. Lamest pedicure EVER! The American lady did my pedicure and she SUCKED. She cut my toe with her file. She bitched the whole time about how it was her day off and she was doing them a favor...blah blah. The lady that did my daughters fill burned her nail bed about 20 times with her drill, despite my daughters' protests. The place was gross. First off, I was a Licensed Manicurist quite some time ago so I am aware of some tricks to keep my polish lasting. You don't forget rules, regulations, and the tricks of the trade A close Friend suggested I try Forever Nails & Spa for a Pedicure as she has been there a few times with success. I did go there back in December, and the Pedicure was lasting and fairly well done. I did find the water bath was not warm enough to soak the feet, and they do rush that part of the process with the first foot only getting a 15 second dip. The water bath should be much warmer. I opted for the Hot Wax Dip (leaves your feet feeling fantastic). The Pedicure lasted for about 5 weeks. That visit cost $28.00, as it seems as though each small process they ask you about is another $2.00 to 5.00 on the bill when finished. Although they give you a Cost Sheet to look at and decide which Service you desire," exactly" what that is is sketchy and vague. Then each time they ask you about something else that sounds wonderful you take it, or not. I felt as if a normal Pedicure would and should entail a certain amount of " Service items to complete the job properly, but not anymore. I had asked for I believe a #3 but ended up paying for a #5. A Language Barrier didn't help this either. No Thank You is clear in nearly any language. . My 2nd visit, I was given a very generous $50.00 Gift Certificate for this Salon from my Close Friend that suggested I try it in the first place, so I did return for a Full Mani and Pedicure, a couple months later. Upon my 2nd visit I was much more observant, and aware. With money to burn, I got the full job. I found that the Manicure peeled on the 2nd morning. Geeze. Should have at least lasted more than that. No tricks can prevent that, as the nail bed was not properly cleaned before the Polish went on, causing it to peel. Nothing I put on over that Polish would keep it on either. Poor Application from the get go, means take it off and start over. Pedicure was chipping by the evening of the 2nd day as well. I did work to fix that, so the Pedi was saved, just not my Mani. This 2nd visit took $45 and I left the rest to a tip. My disappointing observation was on my 2nd Salon visit. I was talking to another client in the chair next to me, and I happened to look behind the Pedicure Chairs. OMG FILTHY, with a thick layer of dust all over the electric cords and the floor. This was bad not just a couple weeks worth of dust. Many months at least of dirt and dust and crud. I won't return to Forever Nails & Spa for that issue, as well as the prodding to get more service done while you are there, costing you much more than you expect to pay. Nothing in a Service oriented Business should be Sketchy or Vague....should be quite explicit and in writing from the onset of the Service. read more

This place was great when Lani and Lisa were working there together. Now Lani has her own place in town and Lisa works here at Forever Nails with a few other ladies. The standard of service is no longer as good as it was and unless you ask for Lisa, you will get a very inconsistent quality of manicure or pedicure. Also, Lisa used to take pride in the fact that she would not speak in her native language in front of customers, because she understood how it made customers feel left out. Unfortunately, she no longer follows this rule with her new coworkers. read more

We tried a lot of different nail salons when we first moved to Ramona, and there are some nasty, shady places. Forever is great, though, because the salon is run by two women: Lisa and Lani. They're Vietnamese pistols who do great work, speak great English, and love what they do. The salon is always clean and always tidy, and the work is almost always--like 99.5%--done well and if you DO find a flaw on their part, they will gladly fix it without complaint. To demonstrate what I mean, let me just say that I'mEXTREMELY picky about my nails. I won't tolerate bubbles or lumps; the length of them has to be perfect; the corners must be perfectly square; there can't be any clear acrylic visible over the color/white; et cetera. It goes on and on, but Lisa like her customers to be happy and she'll sit there with me to make sure my nails are exactly how I like them. There's a lot of pride in her work and even on my most finicky of days she seems to have no issues with my nit-picking--if there is any. A few other highlights about the salon I feel are really worth mentioning: - They have over 50 colors of acrylic available. - Their prices are reasonable. - They work fast and well. I can get a full set and pedicure in about sixty minutes. - They are extremely grateful for your continued patronage and appreciate not only your business, but your company. - Their nail art is beautiful. I definitely recommend Forever if you're looking for some pampering. It doesn't get much better service OR quality of work wise. read more

My experience at Forever Nails and Spa started out positive. Cindy did my pedicure and was great, but a regular customer with an appointment came in and she rushed through and only put one coat of polish on my toenails and hurried off to help the regular customer. My nails chipped that very night. I could have come another time if she had communicated that she had an appointment scheduled, but she did not. I will find another salon in the future. read more

I wasn't a huge fan of this place. I've been to a lot of nail places and this was probably one of the dirtiest places I've been. It stunk and was hot in there the whole time. Floors were filthy, chairs weren't the cleanest nor did I see them clean one before or after someone left while I was there. I got my toes done and daughters nails painted. I typically get a design and the lady was not confident about any type of design. She ended up doing two colors (split down the middle) with polka dots. She kept messing up and redoing it. My daughters nails were fine. Over all 3 stars and that's being generous. Won't be going back due to cleanliness. read more

Sorry but I am not going to pay $6 less for a simple fill. Came in to get full set and pedicure. I had a picture of how I wanted the shape of my nails to look, coffin shaped. When she was finished filing my nails they were just square nothing like the shape of the nails in the picture. I had her reshape for me but she just didn't get it. My pedicure was nothing to write home about. I wanted a number 2 on their menu. They barely scrubbed my feet and I didn't even get a leg and foot massage. After they were done I turned my hands to see my nails underneath and there were shreds of acrylic dust and pieces that had not been filed or buffed off. The lady told me to next time make an appointment to come in because the two ladies they were working on in between working on me had an appointment. I reminded her that her window says walk ins welcome and if she didn't have time to do my nails she should of said so up front instead of doing such a rushed, crappy job on me.
