I'm perturbed for several reasons: 1) they rang up a bag of apples to be $4.79 when it was supposed to be $1.99. After quite a wait, that was price checked and changed for me. Cool. 2) got home & noticed the cilantro & the 3 limes ($1) I bought & paid for didn't make it into our bags. I need it for dinner tonight. The staff bagged our groceries for us. So frustrating because it was $1.99 for a relatively small bundle, but I wanted to support La Tienda. 3) flies everywhere! 4) dusty goods! The can of beans I bought was covered in dust as was the others. Could these last two reasons be because the two front doors were propped open? Will be a while before I come back even though I'm in this vicinity at least once per week. My 11-year-old daughter loved this store and how organized it was. She ain't paying the bills, though. My youngest daughter took a Young Coders course in this building from July 15-19, 2024. The college provided laptops in comfortably air-conditioned, professional classrooms. My daughter stated her instructor was very nice and patient even when one particular kid pursued to be "real whiny" and disruptive. She really enjoyed the course. The restrooms were clean. There were snack and drink vending machines nearby... one took cards only. The other accepted both cards and cash. Easy parking on the west side of the building. No permit or pass necessary.

Seconds later, we saw a man in a cowboy hat who promptly said hello then turned on the lights. It was awkward. So we quickly walked around. More frustrating than anything was seeing no prices on any items. It was, however, mostly organized: - blankets - cookware - garden figures - pottery - ristras (some even heart-shaped) Just as we were about to leave I thanked the man and asked if they accepted plastic as payment. If I didn't live 20 miles away, I would probably be here every day because I like to shop for produce fresh. I was only able to shop for non-perishable items, but the meat market seemed really good. The store was so clean and organized when I was there on November 22, 2024. For the most part, I was able to find all of the ingredients I needed for my part and Thanksgiving dinner plus a few other items. Really nice, fast cashier. The grocery baggers are fast too. Propane out front. Highly recommend.

The staff members were friendly but only spoke to me after I initiated conversation. Sadly, they didn't have any hocks for my simmering pinto beans. I'm still not certain the guy behind the counter knew what I was inquiring. Lol. The place is brand new. Offers menudo on the weekends. Sells groceries including fresh veggies. The meats looked good. The only issue I had was with the Pine-sol-like smell fumigating my nostril hairs as soon as I walked in. Had I known they were mopping at that hour, I wouldn't have went in. Ample parking spots in a shared plaza lot.
