I've been to this location a few times to try to find cute clothing a jewelry. The merchandise is pretty hit or miss. I have been stopping by since the store first opened. When you see a sign in front of a shop that says "Trust us, Good vibes inside" you know you're going in skeptical yet intrigued if it's true. I walked in and without a doubt can walk out saying that sign out front was accurate. Working in retail boutique while in college you can't help but have a higher bar for customer service/customer experience and the team at Dress Up Brookhaven on my 3/26/19 visit after work was solid. The minute I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome and immediately asked (without being pushy) if I need any assistance. I went in with a game plan of purchasing one item if any at all and I ended up walking out with 4 items. I was also offered to have them put the items I pulled from the racks in a dressing room for me. (Tugged at my retail working heartstrings. I don't see that request too often these days). Felt good about my purchases especially after seeing a coupon deal of 10% if you sign up on their text message listserv. I'm all about a good deal and happy to save where I can. I highly recommend this boutique for the following reasons: -great customer service experience. Friendly staff! Not pompous at all. -great prices. Very reasonable price point! Seriously. It will make it harder to shop at other boutiques -clean and organized shop -well stocked of all sizes and styles that I was interested in. They have lots of the latest trends Check them out if you're looking for some good clothing options without breaking the bank. Cute and on trend women's clothing located in Town Brookhaven. The prices are astonishingly affordable. The quality is similar to Charlotte Russe or Forever 21 as is the style of the clothing. That is not necessarily a bad thing. Dress up Boutique has pulled the cutest on trend pieces from stores like Love Culture, Charlotte Russe, and Forever 21and compiled them in one store. You don't have to sift through a million racks of clothes or be burdened with the foot traffic and noise of a mall. Here, you can browse at your leisure while listening to soft pop and leave with a super cute dress for that special occasion. Also, their jewelry selection is way better than most mall retail locations and more affordable than most boutique locations. I def recommend it before a weekend trip or for a date night dress. I was driving through Atlanta to see a friend for dinner and had some time to check out a few stores. After a quick search on Yelp, I came across Dress Up and decided to check them out... and I'm SO glad I did-- I love this store! They have a great selection of dresses, tops, and bottoms; very diverse and bright! The store itself isn't huge but they utilize their space well. I wasn't really interested in looking at shoes or jewelry but they seemed to have interesting pieces. I waited to write this review because I was concerned with clothing quality (based on another Yelper's review) but haven't had any issues with my new dresses! And once again Town Brookhaven adds another mediocre boutique. Bummer! I was really hoping Dress Up would be good and I actually gave it a few times too. First time I went was with my mom. We walked in after a day of shopping with our hands full of shopping bags. We were ready to continue the shop! We weren't greeted when we walked in, although if we were I couldn't tell because the music was so loud. As I shopped around nobody came to see if I wanted help or was looking for anything in particular (which I was!). When I was at one rack one of the girls actually excused herself to get in front of me to put something back on the rack. Second time I went was with two girlfriends. The store was packed, unlike the first time, so I was hoping they got their act together. Unfortunately this was not the case. They had one girl working the dressing room who was entirely too overwhelmed. When I brought it to the managers attention she told me "no, she's ok." My friend, who was shopping for vacation, got so annoyed she walked out leaving the multiple items she wanted in the dressing room. So disappointed! I'm hoping its because they're new but so far not impressed. Clothing is low in quality..to the point that some of the clothes on the rack have snags and holes on them. Jewelry is great but also cheaply made. This is the perfect place for a one wear kinda deal but with the service I'm not sure it's worth the hassle. read more

I REALLY love this store! However just make sure you get there as soon as new shipments arrive as the smells go super quick. I mean so quick there isn't a single small left in the entire store quick. I love Dress Up and love supporting a company that was started in my hometown! Pros: - Inexpensive and trendy clothing - Friendly staff - Good selection for a wide age range and body types Cons: - You have to make returns in 21 days - If you return an item you can only receive store credit back - Sometimes difficult to find size or color I want I know I've listed a good many cons above. However, I love supporting small business and lots of these cons are things that you will experience with any small business or boutique. Do not shop here. The merchandise is cheap and they staff The Stepford Wives. After I found out about their awful return policy and was looking for something to replace the shirt I wanted to return, I overheard some poor woman complaining about her item pilling after one wash. Of course she could not get her money back! They are selling poor quality merchandise and have an awful return policy. I wasted money at their Memorial Day "sale". This place caters to all the trends so I always find exactly the look I'm going for! IMPORTANT UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM... Beautiful clothes for every occasion, at a great price, with fantastic customer service. Who can ask for much more? I recently bought the dress I'll wear to stand in front a crowd of 250 wedding attendees to read a passage next month. (Yikes!) And I had a slew of options to choose from at this store. Worth mentioning I also purchased the dress for the bridesmaid luncheon from here, as well. I had some issues with sizing, and they were fantastic with calling other locations to check their inventory and having the dress shipped to my home for a mere $5, also. I've heard some complaints about their refund policy, but I don't know why it comes as a shock that a mom & pop boutique only allows store credit for returns. And honestly with all their lovely clothing, I'm not sure what the complaining's about. UPDATE: POOR QUALITY! Dress for the wedding was pulling apart at the vertical seam a mere 2 hours after putting it on. I arrived at the venue to find that a hole was forming where the threads were fraying. I put on the bridal lucheon dress this morning for the first time since the event and the fabric is separating from the seam at the neckline. I took the dress for the wedding back and they were able to find me another at a sister location (lucky since it was from their spring/summer line and this was September, so that's at least a testament to their customer service. But I'm not expecting the new dress to not have the same issues as the old). It's unfortunate because I really loved this shop, but you get what you pay for. I shop at Dress Up Brookhaven just about every 2-3 weeks, and have been for about 6 years! I love that they get new inventory each week, that you can easily shop online or go into the boutique, and how darling the sales associates are. I recently found Dress Up Boutique and have been twice in one week. The prices are amazing (you can get a dress for under $40) and the styles change weekly. I'm in grad school and especially poor these days, so being able to go to a boutique like Dress Up Boutique is refreshing. Think Forever 21, but way classier. The jewelry is also amazing! I bought two statement necklaces, similar to something you would find at J. Crew, for $20 each. Obviously they're not as heavy or high quality as J. Crew, but unless you touch it, you can't tell! I ordered a dress from Dress Up (online) on Sunday evening. With it being the holidays, all of my orders were taking at minimum 1 week to come in... I paid for standard shipping ($7.50 or something) and assumed it would be here in a couple of weeks. I was absolutely floored when I received the e-mail that my dress would be delivered on Wednesday of the same week!! Beyond that, the dress fits like a glove. I'm SO glad to have found such an awesome little Boutique that is decently inexpensive, and the clothes actually fit me (I'm underweight and it's hard to find clothes in my size). I've been reading all the reviews regarding Dress Up and it seems to me that someone at the Dress Up headquarters is making sure that all the bad reviews are off. I'm scoffing just reading, "Excellent customer service" well let me tell you this, that's a load of bull. I've been to three dress up locations within the last two years, and yet again I am always disappointed. I am a huge buyer when it comes to the Piko's Dress Up carries. They're cute, soft, and very elegant. You would think a store with only 11 locations in Georgia would up their potential when it came to customer service. From the first time I shopped at Dress Up I was looking to spend close to $400-500 in one transaction for a back to school sale they had going on. With close enough to 10 tops in hand and four sales associates on the floor, no one bothered to ask if I needed help. Looking around to see why I wasn't receiving any help, I couldn't understand what the deal was. There was only three customers in the store including myself. The second go around should have been the red flag not to come back. As I am checking out my card isn't going through. After swiping five times, and getting frustrated the young lady ringing me out says a remark I will never forget, "Um. Well, maybe, like you don't have enough money on your card..?" Stunned, I didn't know what to say. Understanding she is young, naive, and has no idea what she's talking about I decided to remain silent as I stood there humiliated. Turns out, the reason my card wasn't going through was because of an error on the computer. With no apology, or "thank you for your patients" the manager just said "these things happen." Third time's a charm, right? Wrong. As for my third encounter at Dress Up, and my very last, I was browsing around for a dress to wear to an upcoming wedding. As I finger through the racks I'm enjoying the selections and variety Dress Up had for this season's collection. As I'm almost done looking, a sales associate stops me. Gets in front of me, puts back some tops, taking her time and asks a customer on the other side of the rolling rack how they're doing. That was the final straw. I quickly Googled stores that carry similar Piko's and dresses right then. Lucky for me, I found a store two stores down. Not only did they have the same suppliers as Dress up, but the price was ten dollars cheaper. When I arrived at the store I had wonderful customer service, and they could tell I was fed up from my experience at Dress Up. Turns out, I wasn't the only one receiving this awful customer service. Almost everyone that was in that store shopping said the same thing I was after overhearing me talk about why I was so upset. After purchasing my new tops at the new store, not only did I receive top quality customer service, I also built fantastic relationships with everyone who works there. I'm considered now a regular, and I hope someday Dress Up improves. Instead of trying to make your store's look like a group of sorority sisters work there, maybe you should consider training every associate and manager on what customer service really is. Not just standing there watching the day go by. You have money walking in and out of those doors. Take that into consideration. read more
