I found Drew on a LivingSocial deal. Drew came over to our house to take our son's newborn pictures at exactly 1 week of age. He was super easy to schedule with, responsive, accommodating, personable, and friendly. He took great shots of our newborn son. He took our suggestions on shot ideas and implemented them immediately. I personally really liked the fact that he didn't skimp on the amount of pictures he gave us at the end of the shoot (unlike so many photographers out there). He also hand edited a bunch of them too. We booked Drew for my little one's 6 month photos. I was a little weary of how the session was going to go because taking pictures with two little boys is a damn near impossible feat. One is usually not looking when the other is, the toddler just ignores me outright when I ask him to smile for the camera and both kids have a collective attention span of 5-10 minutes tops. Yes, my boys would make terrible models but I would still like pictures of my little rascals for the house. Drew suggested the beach so we met him there--well, we were late and he was on time so I felt a little bad off the bat. He didn't seem annoyed or rushed because we were tardy but seemed like he was in a good mood and tried to warm up to my boys immediately. It was nice that he made an effort with the kids because my toddler trusts no one and my baby recently discovered stranger anxiety. Drew took pictures of us as a posed group but he was also took candid photos of us walking and being together. My husband's favorite shot of the whole session is a candid one where Drew captured all of us in the background blurry with my son in focus and running towards Drew while making the cutest expression! After an outfit change the kids started getting fussy. Drew was super patient and waited for my kids to come around. He also brought along a prop basket that we put the little one in and I have to say it was the cutest thing. The baby thought being in the basket was fun so we got a whole bunch of amazing photos with him in there smiling away. We got our photos about 2 weeks after the session and they were the BEST. I was floored when we loaded the pictures. I didn't realize how many good shots Drew was able to get! I was fretting the kids' fussiness was only going to yield a handful of photos but he somehow snapped the pictures at the right time and we got some really precious ones of the kids together. He was able to really capture my boys' personalities and we got some really nice photos of our entire family too. I'm usually the one taking pictures of the boys so I'm hardly in any pictures with them. It means a lot to me that I have pictures with my kids--really nice ones!! Drew was very accommodating of our schedule and was able to fit us in very quickly. We wanted an outdoor session for family photos and he recommended a nice park for us to take pictures at. He also helped us coordinate our outfits with our daughters. He was punctual and very friendly and easy to work with. He has a lot of patience which is what you want when taking pictures of babies/toddlers. The photos of our daughter and of the family were great! He took some very artistic and creative pictures which were beautiful! He was also patient as we changed my daughter into 4 outfits. We hired Drew Dailey to take our daughter's 6 month portraits after a great recommendation from a friend. We had seen his work and were pleased, so when we saw our daughter's pictures we literally fell off our seats when we saw that he did an even better job that we imagined! Drew took our holiday photos last Christmas. Our son was 2.5 months old at the time, so I appreciated that he came to our house for the photography session and was punctual, which made things easy and convenient for a first-time parent. He was also friendly and professional, and he delivered our photos by the requested date. However, I do recommend you come up with your own photo ideas if you're going to do an at-home session and your child is a few months old. Go to the black hole that is Pinterest if you must. I'm sure Drew does well in settings like the beach and park where inspiration is easier to find and with kids that are older and more active, but it seemed like he was struggling a bit with what to do with our little one in our small condo. That said, we were overall satisfied with his work and would like to try his photography services again. read more

Drew took our newborn photos one week post partum. He was very patient with the baby crying and diaper changes. I was able to breastfeed and soothe the baby without feeling rushed at all. We received our photos exactly a week later as promised and they were AWESOME! He really should be charging more for the quality but I'm not complaining. Drew works magic. I have used him twice; once for photos of our extended family (5 adults and 3 young children) and once for my toddler (aged 20 months). Both times he produced beautiful pictures. For the family photos he captured posed, group photos, with every person looking at the camera (a miracle), as well as fun "action shots" of the kids playing. He was beyond patient with our boisterous bunch and provided gentle and helpful direction in getting the kids to cooperate. When he photographed my toddler, my son was recovering from an illness and was irritable and not very cooperative. Plus we were late (shame on me). Drew managed to coax him out of his bad mood and capture some darling images. Kids seem to respond well to his gentle nature! Considering previous reviews, I decided to have Drew take newborn photos of my daughter. Unfortunately, both my husband and I were very disappointed with the photos. We have taken better photos of our daughter on our phones! I understand she is a newborn but we had counted on him to capture photos my daughter that portray how precious and beautiful she is. We had a wonderful experience with Drew taking photos of our family at a local beach this month. I just received the images and they are fabulous! He captured our family spot on! Drew was super accomodating scheduling our shoot and even rescheduled for me when we weren't able to make the original date set. The shoot was extremely relaxed and Drew allowed our children to play, run and have fun (all the while, capturing each moment). Drew was extremely caring and compassionate to our elderly family members too and let them take their time and feel comfortable during our time together. I wanted to have professional photos done for my daughter's 1 year photos. I saw Drew's Living Social deal, and after reviewing his online portfolio, I decided to book him. He was very easy to get in contact with, and he had some great suggestions for locations to do the shoot. My daughter is very active, and it is hard to keep her still, but the images he captured are amazing! We found drew a year ago through a living social promotion. He took pictures of my 2 year old son at the time and we found him very patient and easy to work with. We have used other photographers in the past and they were impatient and irritable with my son. They were more into taking the pictures and getting out as soon as possible. But not drew!
