I was then told rudely that they weren't accepting Medicaid patients, and when she said the word "Medicaid" is was like she was tasting something horrible. She then hung up on me. If she'd have hung around a few minutes longer, she'd have learned that I'm getting married in less than three months and will be switching to my future husbands "fancy" insurance. I was hoping to establish a relationship with a local doctor before that switch. I guess I can cross this practice off my list.

The nurses are inexperienced it took 3 people and 4 pokes to get blood. The lump on my lung is making it hard to breathe and they refuse to give me a CT scan to see if it's gotten bigger. I told the rude lady from registry that the 3 times they sent me to south bend because they didn't have the doctor's I needed my Michigan Medicaid wouldn't pay and it went on my credit report so she told me maybe I should go back to south bend, I've never been treated so bad at a hospital. Stear clear of this hospital unless you have Michigan Medicaid and don't have transportation to go elsewhere. This hospital sucks!
