The prices seems to be either comparative or cheaper than the other places, but that's hard to judge considering the nominal number of books I, as one person, have had an opportunity to price there. Aside from the text books, they usually have a small, but choice, selection of used novels and non-fiction books on hand. These are very cheap compared to cover price, and if you go at the right time you can find some really interesting things for a steal. They also carry used music CDs, stationary, and other odds and ends for college students. Overall, a great place that is much more rewarding to support with my hard earned loan money than the bigger, more coporate alternatives.

We loved talking books with the owner/shop keeper and browsing the newer designed editions of favorite classics, like Jane Austen novels or the Harry Potter series. I loved the section on unique positivity and poetry books as well and appreciated the lightweight paperbacks easy for sliding into a carryon bag for my flight home. This made for a lovely stop to add to my poolside reading collection.

I got my textbooks through Amazon within the same week while I did not get a notification to pick up my books from BookHolders for over a month into the semester. I emailed them about my concern and had to explain to my professors that I did not have my textbooks yet even though I ordered them and BH decided to send me a pickup confirmation a few days later as if nothing happened. Thankfully, my professors were very understanding as I needed the textbook for quizzes and projects that I did not get to work on until later.

They have a café that is not Starbucks but serves Starbucks coffee, which is why they don't accept Starbucks gift cards or the Starbucks app. Their ginger tea is great and desserts are really good. The place can get really busy but lines usually move fast. Customer service is good - they'll help you if you need help. The place is kept fairly clean, it's also a bit cold - bring a jacket. The café also has nice tables and fast internet - good for studying or other stuff if you don't mind the noise when it's busy. All in all, nice college bookstore.
