The owner was incredibly friendly and genuinely knowledgably about the book world. She also talked to me about the Little Free Libraries, how they work, how to find all the registered ones online, and even encouraged me by saying I could host one myself. That conversation along made the visit feel special as you can see how passionate she is. The store has a wide selection of books, thoughtfully organized, with something for every kind of reader. My absolute favorite part was the cozy corner of vintage books - such a charming collection, each one priced fairly and appropriately for its condition and uniqueness. It felt like stepping into a little time capsule. The prices seems to be either comparative or cheaper than the other places, but that's hard to judge considering the nominal number of books I, as one person, have had an opportunity to price there. Aside from the text books, they usually have a small, but choice, selection of used novels and non-fiction books on hand. These are very cheap compared to cover price, and if you go at the right time you can find some really interesting things for a steal. They also carry used music CDs, stationary, and other odds and ends for college students. Overall, a great place that is much more rewarding to support with my hard earned loan money than the bigger, more coporate alternatives.

We were told that there will be an Opening Reception and Lecture by Susan Benjamin (curator) on Saturday,September 24th. The opening is called Flora, Fauna and Fantasy. It will be an interpretation of the nature that surrounds us through art and glass. This group show of award winning artists will transport you from the "Beauty of Nature" to the "Twist of Fantasy". If you're on Main St. in Safety Harbor, you can't miss it's location. It's a big pink building.
