And the finished wood panels on my refrigerator keeps the look so clean that no one even notices the refrigerator until I have them open the door. Signet even designed a hidden panel that has my bulletin board and keys out of site. We were pleased with the plumbing, electricial, and tile (Ivan and Simon) sub-contractors that were used for our bathroom project. We've encountered our fair share of contractors and, for this job in general, received many over-the-top quotes and/or no shows. Ben was reasonably priced and consistent in his communication. He provided us with a project calendar (we've never had that happen w/ a contractor) and while, his team went over their original due date--unexpected issues--he maintained communication with us about who would be where, when, and why. I had quotes from 3 other individuals/companies around town and they were either too sales-like for me or weren't responsive at all. I have to admit I was hesitant about going forward with AKB since I'd not read any review about them, but I had a good feeling after I met Benjamin to receive the initial estimate. I got the impression that he actually really cared about his work and the job he does and it was more than just a paycheck for him. I really liked how he was even able to give me a ballpark estimate with just some pictures I sent him before he came over to give a true estimate. I initially reached out to Benjamin in late May and we had decided to start work the first week of July (on that note, he also had earlier availability than anyone else I had received a quote from). We wound up pushing that back once we received the final quote as we wanted more time to save money for the job. He started work on our kitchen on a Monday and was basically done by Friday, except for a few items he had to come back to finish up early the next week. He was great about communicating when he would be at the house and did a fantastic job cleaning up each day--we were able to still use our kitchen in the evenings. We did the back-splash ourselves to save money, and after finishing that, I'm just floored at how beautiful this kitchen looks. I even have to force myself to go to sleep and stop staring at my kitchen each night. It was 100% worth the money and I would recommend Affordable Kitchen & Bath to anyone who wants quality work for a great price.

They recommended to not use Nextdoor since they get so much spam and scammers they rarely check it. They agreed to pull a quote together for some pantry pull out selves. I received a quote within a day of speaking to them by Jason Franklin. Seems like a great company with only quality items offered.

Unfortunately, my wife unknowingly spilled an oily liquid and some of the liquid remained on our cabinet for a couple days before we noticed it. A small area at the bottom of the cabinet was damaged. The paint just seemed to melt off. The silver lining was the area damaged was the wide trim around the bottom of our island. I called Scott at High Caliber and explained our problem. Scott said he didn't know if they could match the paint perfectly since it had been 5 years. Scott said he'd call me back once he checked out a couple things and called the Amish company that built the cabinets. In less than 30 minutes Scott called and asked if he could send one of his guys out to look at it. Within the next 30 minutes an employee came to my house. He removed the damaged moulding and took it with him. The next morning I received a call and was told the moulding had been repaired and they wanted to bring it back and reinstall it. I was told they sanded the moulding and gave it two coats of paint. I was fortunate they had some of my paint still on hand. In a little over 24 hours they had fixed our problem. Cost: ZERO, NADA. Not many businesses give that kind of customer service anymore! These guys are first class.
