Ollie's doesn't sell wine (or any alcohol, for that matter). Too bad! But if you're in the market for discounted boxes of Hungry Jack mashed potatoes, bird feeders, comforter sets, off-brand slider storage bags, water guns and neoprene gloves, Ollie's is your store. There's a lot of stuff everywhere, and honestly, it's a little overwhelming. Ollie's takes a page from the Aldi playbook: There are just ripped open boxes of items on the shelves. To heck with aesthetics -- Ollie's is too busy saving you money to fiddle around with arranging items on a shelf nicely. I stopped in to get some lotion, and wouldn't you know, I could only find one bottle of lotion in the whole store. It wasn't a brand that I would have normally bought, but you can't be picky at Ollie's. You get what you get or you can get the eff out. Visiting Ollie's is like participating in a treasure hunt. Other things are cheap, but way too expensive for what they are. Other things are just expensive. My biggest advice for this store is to only go here when you're needing something for your home. If you go aimlessly looking, then you might come out with more than a few things that you didn't need at all. This store did seem more organized than at home. It's also much smaller.
