On Tuesday night at 10 PM I walked into my father's home after 1.5 weeks of being away and my dad away on Hospice dying to a massive flood caused by the refrigerator. I panicked and ran toward the refrigerator and fell so hard... I didn't know what to do so I took a photo of the leak and I input it on ChatGPT and CVWR was the first company it recommended. I called it and Tico picked up. He could hear the distress in my voice and in 30 minutes he and his entire team were at my home saving it. They cleared out all the water and the entire downstairs. This job was not an ordinary job, even though leaks are not ordinary... but there's a hoarding situation going on and my dad's home and they had to move so much out. They worked till very late and were beyond professional and empathetic toward my situation. They then left multiple dehumidifiers and air scrubbers for days to help stop the mold growth and dry out my house. Their team does everything from mitigation to reconstruction. Every question I asked, Tico answered in detail and I completely trusted him. He was incredibly knowledgeable about insurance and has a good working relationship with my insurance adjuster. There really are no words for how incredible this team is, and I would recommend them till the day I die. Our AAA home insurance adjuster, Russell, recommended CPR. I had explained to the adjuster that my father was dying and who would he recommend if it were for his closest family. The adjuster was really genuine and said CPR was the best. I was skeptical at first because there weren't many reviews and most were about carpet... it makes sense to me now. CPR is truly so good and busy that they don't need to market. They are simply a go to referral. The moment Matt and his team came to evaluate I knew they were the right contractors for the job. I had had another good team come evaluate before CPR and the evaluation was hands down night and day. They moisture metered every part of the downstairs and quickly began contaminating the mold and moisture. The damage in our very large and beautiful home has required stripping of hardwood floor and carpet, cutting out almost the entire downstairs walls, removal of an entire kitchen and bathroom, serious crazy mold remediation, and more. The home was built 20 years ago and the features are custom, high quality, and unique. It's very important to me to keep those same features my father chose. The kitchen island was custom stained and CPR has done the research and work to make try to get it to be the how it was from matching colors, tiles, and woods. They've been so kind and sensitive to my situation. I'm pretty devastated about the entire thing. They are probably about a third of the way through with the house. It's a many month repair job and so far I'm so grateful and happy with my experience. Matt the owner has been so communicative and my main point of contact. He always calls me back right away and communicates so clearly about every step. He's also referred me to some amazing resources for fixing the AC, plumber, and estate sales... all the referrals have been 5 stars. Lily the interior designer is so sweet and professional. She's sent me photos of samples, met me at a show room, and looked into all the old paperwork and documentation of the building of my home to figure out how to make everything exactly the same. The rest of the team has been really professional and polite and are all working so hard. There's a whole crew of people working on my home. They've completely sealed their working areas to make sure so dust and other parts of my home get damaged or dirty. My entire downstairs needed to be packed out, so their packing team carefully packed and documented everything. Seriously top notch crew. To find out that my beautiful home in the Tower District has an old asbestos roof was a horror!! I knew this was going to be a huge hassle to properly dispose of this material but CVE was the correct company for the job!!! Greg walked the property with me the day prior and told me the game plan. The next day the crew should up ready to work and started to prep the jobsite. They did everything by OSHA standards and tarped the windows and draped the floors to begin tear off. They were also properly tied off to the roof and wearing all necessary PPE for the job. Overall it took them 3 days to complete my roof since the pitch is so steep but they handled it with easy!!! Friday was their last day of work and I was nervous that they weren't going to finish in time but boy I was wrong! They packed up all of their gear and cleaned the surrounding area. There was no debris or nails any where around my house, it looked like they were never there!!!! I have called him on his cell phone at 360 820 6754, everyday for three weeks, without success. I always get his answering machine. He has not responded to my daily messages. I am going to have to find a contractor to repair the damage to my downstairs and go to court to recover my money. I have been unable to use my downstairs, and my son is living in my garage. This has turned into a nightmare.

It was exactly the right choice! Martine was able to step in and evaluate what had been done, what needed to be corrected and make a plan for moving forward. Martine communicated frequently and clearly with us. He listened carefully to our thoughts and offered creative suggestions. When problems in the build arose, he sat down with us and together we found solutions. Martine and his team provided quality work and took great pride in the house they were building. In the years since we have had many opportunities to have All American Construction complete improvement and upkeep projects on our log cabin. All projects were completed with the same care and attention to detail as the original build. Most recently we have undertaken a major bathroom, paint and flooring remodel. The workmanship and communication by the technician Armando Ibarra was exceptional. On 10/14/24 I…read morecontracted for a plumbing leak repair that required breaking concrete on my patio as well as installing a new hot water heater to replace the old one located in my cellar. I was home the day the repair was conducted and Armando kept me informed every step of the way as he broke concrete and tried to minimize intrusion on my patio. Armando completed the repair and monitored the readings on my meter to make sure that there was no more leakage. He back filled and poured new concrete to replace what was removed and completely cleaned up the debris. The next day he returned and replaced the hot water heater. His work and customer service was top notch. I would rate them better if it was not for the following issues that were addressed eventually with the VP of Operations and resolved. 1) Project Manager Angel Valdivia was vague in answering my questions regarding permit requirements and inspection by the city. 2) Multiple late appointment arrivals, including pushing off to the next day. 3) Contact by the Project Manager after repairs and installation requesting sign off on documents he forgot to have me sign prior to the job. 4) No strapping was installed with the hot water heater (per California Plumbing Code 508.2) the day it was installed. A single strap was installed a week later. Ten days after that the city inspector pointed out that it required two straps. Three days later (20 days after the installation) the second strap was installed. I am still working with Roto-Rooter to resolve some minor issues 23 days after the installation of the hot water heater, and am hopeful they will be resolved timely. Take plenty of notes if you book them for a major repair.
