Words can not describe how easily Greg and Central Valley Environmental made this asbestos roof removal a piece of cake!!!! To find out that my beautiful home in the Tower District has an old asbestos roof was a horror!! I knew this was going to be a huge hassle to properly dispose of this material but CVE was the correct company for the job!!! Greg walked the property with me the day prior and told me the game plan. The next day the crew should up ready to work and started to prep the jobsite. They did everything by OSHA standards and tarped the windows and draped the floors to begin tear off. They were also properly tied off to the roof and wearing all necessary PPE for the job. Overall it took them 3 days to complete my roof since the pitch is so steep but they handled it with easy!!! Friday was their last day of work and I was nervous that they weren't going to finish in time but boy I was wrong! They packed up all of their gear and cleaned the surrounding area. There was no debris or nails any where around my house, it looked like they were never there!!!! The remediation job was excellent, but local police were alerted after two heirloom wedding rings were discovered missing several weeks after the crew departed. Three members of the crew, and two client family members, were the only people in the bedroom where the rings were in small cases on a shelf. They came from professional referral and their professionalism was confirmed by Yelp and Google Reviews. The best company in California to go to for hazardous material removal. We had a popcorn ceiling test positive for asbestos (purchased a test kit on Amazon). We took our time finding a good company after hearing the horror stories of service master and other similar local/chain companies (which you've probably read those reviews and they sacred you here) CVE went above and beyond our expectations. We felt stuck with our situation and they truly gave us a 5 star experience in terms of quality of work, professionalism, price and they were also super fast and attentive. We hired Central Valley Environmental to remove one piece of asbestos from our home. Angel and Luis showed up on time and took great precautions to build a tent around it and utilized a HIPA vacuum to remove all of it with NO TRACE left behind. Although it seemed a bit pricey, it was totally worth it to get it removed safely. Greg, in the office, was outstanding and answered all emails and phone inquiries expediently.
