If you are nearby you HAVE to stop in, when you open the front door it is like stepping back to an older time, you almost expect to see Opie, Andy or Aunt Bee Taylor walking down the street. The first thing you will notice is the saw dust floors, the next thing is the warm smoky aroma wrapping you in its arms to give you a warm smoky embrace. Savor that embrace for a moment, it's worth it. If they have a sausage sample on the counter, indulge, also be sure to patronize, the service is personable and friendly. In case you were wondering, the cookies are great too ;)

Fun products and old funky interior. Love this place.

Funky old building with super vibe. When we come through town we always stop & pick up some meats and their wonderful brown mustard with horseradish. It's a must visit place. The counter staff have always been friendly and have shared samples. Thanks Drier's!!!!

Still awesome. This visit, I tried the all beef hotdogs. My brother and I and my almost 3 year old niece enjoyed them grilled (indoors due to rain). They have a nice casing that doesn't get in the way of the mild and agreeable beef flavor. They definitely would be good gussied up with mustard, cheese, chili, or the works. My sister in law is vegetarian and did not "renounce [her] vows" (as is their advert/tagline), but that is ok.:):) The people here are always really nice as well. Until next time.

    Liver"best." Delicious!

Isn't there a Netflix show about "Ugly Eats?" I suppose that means "delicious!" but "not necessarily photogenic?" Later, I'll figure it out when I'm with Ben H., who is a good guide through food shows. For now, the reason I bring it up is that "LiverBest," the deliciously squeezable link from Drier's, is just like that. It's creamy, delicious liverwurst, but (from the looks of my single photo) not all that lovely, when viewed out of context. Drier's is a no-nonsense, high-quality, local meat place. When you go in to buy things, don't take a little slice of this or that, buy a WHOLE LINK - go BIG or go home, as they say. It's really a very modest price for lunch/snack/appetizer deliciousness. Thank's Drier's, for excellent "liverbest," German sausage, and more.

You know any place that calls their liverwurst "Liverbest" has got to be good. Driers has been around FOREVER--even my grandfather remembers visiting Driers in his younger days and holds a special place in his heart for their ham. You're welcomed at the door by a ceramic pig wearing an apron and an old-school metal army helmet, holding a sign that says "We are glad you are here." You'll be glad you're there, too, as soon as you step inside and smell the smokehouse goodness produced onsite. Their ham, thick-cut smokey bacon, liverbest and sausages are awesome and a force to be reckoned with. Go often and support this great historic business.

A tiny little meat market located in Michigan near Lake Michigan. This place has been family owned since 1913!!! I bought a half dozen sausages (Polish and Brats) and some house mustard from this joint and grilled them up back at the beach house for one hell of a dinner. If you find yourself in this neck of the woods, don't miss it! Or try ordering from them direct no matter where you live.

Great little small town meat market. My husband especially loves the liver sausage. If you're in Three Oaks, it's worth a stop!
