Perfect stop on the road when you don't wanna eat fast food anymore. I knew I was in for a treat when people were walking out with sandwiches wrapped in paper. Delicious sandwich selection, and good veggie options. Do yourself a favor and order something on the Piaggi.

    Fresh baked scones!

The kids live for Milda's grilled cheese. Per my 7 year old, "I don't like it, I LOVE it, it's so cheesy!" I am so glad Mildas offers gluten free bread!! And it's really good gluten free bread too!! It's the cutest small town place. A picturesque small business with an owner who puts her whole heart and soul into the place. Thank you Milda!!

    BLT...great pick!

Passing through to Grand Rapids and stopped in for a quick sandwich... definitely recommend! Wish we lived closer! Super cute store, small inside seating area and some outdoor weather permitting. I had the BLT...REALLY good! Thick cut bacon with very little fat, awesome bread and this aioli that rocked. We shared a pound of the kugelis...OMG... addictive...I could eat those all day and night! I got a cannoli and coffee to go. Nice assortment of baked goods.

Best spot in Union Pier for sandwiches, salads, and grocery items to go! Also has fire wood and ice which is a must around there.

Such nice employees, but didn't wear masks. Very concerning in this time of COVID. We will stop by again after the scare is over.

I really enjoyed my lox bagel and thought it was one of the best I've had!! The flavors were nicely balanced with the onion, capers, cream cheese and lox. I was able to eat it easily and get a little piece of everything in each bite. The bagels seem smaller than average, but who needs giant bagels anyway? I found these to be reasonably sized. Big overstuffed bagels that fall apart while you eat them - lox sliding all over the place - are really annoying. These were satisfying without making you feel gross after. The coffee selection exceeded our expectations. We shared a chemex for 2. They had a few single origin coffees to choose from and we had their pink bourbon Columbian. We enjoyed our coffee and bagels outside in their seating area and this was once of my favorite parts of our trip! We didn't have to wait too long, but as we were finishing, a long line was forming down the block. Consider getting there a little early!

It tasted fresh vs like syrup. For lunch I had a turkey sandwich with potato salad on the side. I didn't care for the potato salad. The turkey quality was good! Note they offer half sandwiches.

I love animals, so it didn't bother me that we were seated between 2 tables both with large dogs that were almost on us. But, for non dog people, it might be nice to have an area without. The vibes & decor is so cute. Mid century modern with pastel colors. Reminds me of Palm Springs. Our server was so sweet & offered menu suggestions. For a drink, I went with the post limon beer. It was so refreshing. Seriously one of my favorites for summer. Shareable plates is the way to go. We got to try more menu items. We started with the bread service. It came with whipped hot honey butter. So good. Next was the watermelon salad with cucumber, jalapeños, and Cojita cheese. Refreshing & delicious. Last up was the chicken sando & Cajun seasoned French fries with an aioli. The sandwich was crispy & the bun was soft. I loved it. The fries were crispy & perfect. The amount of fries was great, but I could have had more of the aioli or ketchup also. We didn't get dessert, although the 3 on the menu looked amazing. Maybe next time. Can't wait to come back.

The prices are a tad high, but this is definitely a fun spot to meet friends or family in town for a visit! I was surprised to learn from 7a-1p, through Labor Day the outdoor seating belonged to Infusco, the food truck located on the property which serves coffee, cold brews and assorted breakfast items, which is a great option if you're staying in downtown New Buffalo and want a casual outdoor quick bite and coffee! There is a host stand located outside and indoors which makes checking in for reservations convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful and our server made sure to explain their tapas-style dining. The menu had a great variety of apps and entrées and they had tasty and fun cocktail options. We enjoyed most of our food, we all loved the grilled chicken Caesar salad and bang bang shrimp; however, felt the scallops were just ok. Overall, the food was tasty and served hot. Street parking and an outdoor pay parking lot are located nearby.

When entering the restaurant we were immediately greeted by staff and were advised to grab a menu from the nearby wall. Orders are placed at the counter, food and coffee. They also provide an estimate on wait-time for coffee and food based on level of orders currently placed. We were given a buzzer and advised that our name would be called for both coffee and food. The bourbon vanilla Madagascar latte was delicious, I loved that the coffee flavor was not overpowered by homemade coffee syrup. The paninis were delicious and very filling! I ordered the pesto egg panini alongside a pistachio iced latte. The panini was the standout--fresh bread, flavorful pesto, ripe tomatoes, and a well-balanced combination of flavors. The pistachio latte, however, could use a little refinement. I'd love to see pistachio cream incorporated instead of a liquid syrup, which could give the drink more body, richness, and a more pronounced pistachio flavor. Overall, a great café experience with plenty of personality and a menu worth exploring.
