Busy Sunday and down a chef but our wait time for a table was less than 20 minutes and it didn't take long for our food to come out. The atmosphere is great for Brunch with the girls, family, or couples. I ordered the Biscoff pancake and it didn't look or taste like I thought it was 10 TIMES BETTER!
Very cute inside but needs more seating. On Saturday Waited in line for around 10 minutes, took a little over 10 minutes for my drink to come out. Loved the seasonal key lime matcha, pictured. Comes with a biscoff cookie on top too. Food options weren't anything too exciting, and pricey. Didn't order any food. Paid street parking.
One Word - Mandatory Right off of the river walk, this little shop stole my heart. The vibes inside were awesome, all of the staff was so sweet and so helpful when it came to narrowing down our food and drink items. I have no pictures of the food because I demolished it lol however, just know it was amazing! * Iced Coffee * Iced Latte * Avocado Egg & Cheese Everything was soooooo good! I keep saying that, but it was! lol
Out of all the Drift locations this one was my least favorite. The staff was really great and the gluten free desserts were actually really good. The coffee though was super small for the price and my pumpkin latte didn't have any pumpkin flavor at all.
What a vibe. Latte was fantastic. Ordered a Bodega Breakfast Sandwich and was impressed to find the cheese deliberately placed in between the folds of the egg.. no pic because I inhaled it. The drift sauce is really good, a *very* subtle kick, but enough to be appreciated. Only thing I wish they did is do a little pan fry with the ham so it doesn't sweat on the bun. When I come back to Wilmington I'll definitely swing by again. Cant wait to try other foods that sound delish. P.S. Even the merch is cool.

The menu offered some interesting options and I was happy with my vegetable based bowl. Tea was a bit much, but it is good tea. I did not find the options for protein add-ons that I was hoping for, and there was a dodgy leaf or two in my bowl. For someone seeking a quick and healthy lunch, this is an option, but I had hoped for a bit more.

Small but cute little coffee shop in downtown. It smells amazing when you enter through the door. We didn't try the food but the items on the menu sounded amazing. We stopped by one Saturday morning for some coffee for the road on the way to the Fort Fisher Aquarium. It was busy but service was quick. I ordered an iced caramel latte and it was SO GOOD! There's a really nice bite of coffee finish at the end and it was the right amount of sweetness for me. My husband got an iced coffee and he said it was strong to his liking as well.
Can't speak on the food as we only came in for a quick midday pick me up. The coffee was so gross! I love coffee and don't need all the sugar and frills. Should have known something was off when a coffee shop doesn't smell like coffee. I got an iced black coffee. It was weak and not even the right color. Both my sister and I took two sips and then immediately threw them away. Waste of money.
We went here on a Saturday morning during our time in Wilmington and it was great. The coconut coldie is fantastic and my order was out less than a minute after ordering. Decent amount of seating space inside, or you can take your coffee like we did and stroll around the city while enjoying your coffee. I was so excited to find there's another location back home in Raleigh!

4.25 Quick line, bright and open inside. Quick food delivery. Had 4 of us, plus one to go order. Avocado and egg x 3: Lots of avocado, egg, tomato jam, soft brioche- melt in your mouth delicious. Phenomenal breakfast and coffee joint in downtown Wilmington. All the food is made from scratch and to-order. The dining area is small and the line can get long but it's well worth the wait to try this place. The coffee is some of the best we've ever had. This place is clean and very well run. read more

Solid option for coffee or a quick bite, and clean and cute inside. The smoothie definitely tasted strongly of protein or some other powder rather than fruit, so it wasn't great. The straw also disintegrates quickly. read more

Love, love, love!!! I ordered an iced vanilla latte with oat milk, and after sipping on that with my mom, I'm like " I NEED to go back and get another one. This is SO good!" So what did I do? I went back not even 10 mins later to try an iced mocha with oat milk. Both are amazing and sweet in their own way. Vanilla latte is sweeter, mocha is sweet in a chocolatey sense (barista said vanilla was sweeter, I think they are even though. Just on a different level.) this has to be a Wilmington staple from now on! And did I mention the vanilla was house made?????? read more

Housed next to Bijou Park, Drift is an appealing location inside and out. It's a bright, inviting space with a solid array of breakfast options. You can go light with a yogurt or toast, but you can also dig into a hearty sandwich, burrito, or bowl. The coffees may not have a lot of flavor options, but they do make some syrups in-house. My wife and I opted for a bodega sandwich and pistachio latte and a breakfast burrito and raspberry vanilla latte, respectively, as well as a sunrise smoothie (mango, banana, vanilla, coconut milk, and orange) to share. Most of the food came out promptly, but the smoothie got lost in the shuffle, a mistake quickly remedied when I pointed it out. The food and drink quality left no room for complaint. The burrito held together well despite being stuffed with deliciousness (egg, cheese, chorizo, black bean, cilantro crema). The raspberry vanilla latte featured a vanilla-raspberry-coconut foam with bits of real fruit, and the smoothie was refreshing. That said, Drift's prices are definitely on the high side, and they also keep quite busy. The hard-working staff seemed up to the task during our visit, but this is definitely not a "sit and chill" coffee shop. Overall, Drift makes for a good downtown breakfast option. It's too expensive to be a regular stop for most, but the location and ingredient quality are compelling. read more

If I lived in Wilmington I would go here every day, probably multiple times a day. In fact my friends and I did go here every day while we were in town for the weekend. It's that good. I got the Avocao Egg and Cheese sandwich and holy cow it's one of the best things I've ever eaten. The sauce on that sandwich could win an award. Also got the Life smoothie, very refreshing. I'm shocked this place doesn't have a line out the door, I couldn't imagine eating breakfast anywhere else in Wilmington... go here and thank me later! read more

This is a great place for a quick bite for breakfast! Their coffee selection is excellent and there's so many options to choose from. For drink I ordered the pumpkin latte. It was really amazing . For a bite to eat , I got the Bodega breakfast sandwich and it was so delicious. The grilled caramelized onions were exquisite, just thinking about them and how well they tied in the warm ham and cheese makes my mouth water . Staff were really really nice and efficient.
