Some locals said you really had to watch out for the ability to sink down and get stuck in the mud, so they helped look for him when he didn't come back to the campsite on-time. We had called many times just to be left on hold for 10-15 minutes at a time, which i understand but not only that my family had nothing to do at a place where there's activity's every hour. Not only that the employees were driving like maniacs and almost hit our family a couple times when going around the lake, but they are so understaffed. Maybe if they got their staff under control my family would actually enjoy and want to spend our money here.i wouldn't recommend coming in on a thursday nothing to do and kids will be upset and bored.

It's loud, campers/RVs and loud trucks coming and going all day everyday. And the campers sites are right on the road maybe 3-4 feet off the road. This is a glorified parking lot for people that want to go do stuff all day and come back and sleep for a night and take off again. If you're looking for a place to park for the night this is it, if you want to camp and enjoy nature it's not.

We were served 2 small rolls that were either stale or frozen - I love fresh rolls, theses were not, almost had to choke them down. Ordered breaded mushrooms that were machine made and so hard you could not put a fork in them. If you managed, they broke open to reveal perhaps a piece of mushroom stem, and a lot of air inside. I had the beef tips over rice which was only warm due to the hot gravy they doused everything in. No choice on rare/medium/well on the tips - which makes sense if they were packaged. Prices on web site are lower than menu. Caesar salad barely qualified (+$2 premium over garden salad) - just lettuce, dressing, and a bit of grated cheese. Waitress was pushy both before ordering and during the meal (halfway through she offered us the desert menu and after we declined informed us she would get the check - while we were still eating!). Overall very disappointed. Wife and I sighed and paid our $75 bill + a basic tip. Doubt we will ever go back.
