Unfortunately the staff ! The maintenance guy has motivational issues and hides in a shop ... nothing gets repaired. Ingvar moved on and the park suffered because the gal, Lisa who took her place is incompetent and talks rude to guests depending on her mood. They took accommodations away from the long-term guests and are very dishonest... Lisa bad mouths and gossips about the guests with other guests and slanders the company. My husband took a Dr.s recommended permission to use the showers which the Mngmnt demanded . He is disabled and required more space to shower as his condition worsened after we were there more than a year. Then they changed the pass codes without telling him on a Friday... no notice or explanation were provided. On the following Monday when we inquired why they locked him out Trish told him it was because I used the women's shower. When Trish gave Me the new code she said it was for " You guys" (my husband and I ). In writing! Then she refused to answer my calls and emails, even running away from me to avoid talking with me. (Very odd ) I cannot believe we were paying for extra dumpsters because the maintenance guy; Ray was throwing building materials and old tables , shelves and beds in our appointed dumpster. I suggested a community meeting and then Kelly lost his shower rights! People were leaving and moving away because the behavior of Lisa and increased rent and utilities were out of control. This is only the tip of the iceberg but enough to let everyone know what they may be stepping in if they stay there now. read more

The owner of this is a California corporation that has rewarded my loyalty to this (June 2024, January 6, 2026) by stealing my security deposit then claiming it out to me on three different occasions, including once by FedEx in fact they didn't. I did get a hostile letter from the CEO... The point is Oregon says they have 31 days and instead they keep saying the dog ate my homework type of incompetent excuse excuses . I'm sharing my experience with them in the hopes that others will be cautious. read more

Beautiful parking and great location. The area is clean and well kept. It's quiet at night. We love this park and will come back.

This is the worst park we have ever stayed in. We wanted to stay 4 months for the summer. They charge for rent, electricity, Wi-Fi, cable and water. I told the manager we don't use those and answer was doesn't matter. We were told no rv washing allowed. Guests doing it anyway so I paid extra for water and hired someone to wash mine. No aggressive breed dogs allowed. Pit bulls in the park in long term sites. The application says that and not bigger than 18 inches tall. Hours posted on door are not followed. Laundry has new machines only 4 of each and half out of order. The only park on the coast that had monthly sites, now I know why. Very disappointed read more

This spot is full of full timers the woman in the office is a very unhappy person I'm not used to being screamed at. We drove for twenty hours trying many times to contact this RV park as we had stayed last year. We had planned to stay a week so we found a empty spot. At nine when the office opened I was there to settle and add several days. The woman was livid and screaming at me and shaking her head. I had no plans to not pay for the night but didn't care to get screamed at but maintained my composure. Went to the RV unhooked and left as we where pulling out the police showed up. Unbelievable. The new owners of this RV park are absolutely the worst they've been holding our mail hostage for almost 2 weeks which is illegal the bathrooms are disgusting the lady in the office is rude I'm so sorry that other owners sold this park it is a nightmare I hate it here do not come here you will regret it I've lived here for four years and my god what a change! Corporate America at its worst the new owners have never even been to the park And the people they have running yet are stupid and inexperienced rude completely non-accommodating if I could I would Would give it a -10 read more

I have stayed in this park multiple times over the past few years. My most recent stay was absolutely the worst experience I've had there. The laundry facilities were never in working order, one of the dog areas was gated off and closed now and new management had a terrible attitude when I tried to discuss other concerns. Rent is climbing up and up, they charge for things you don't use or ask for and overall very poor experience. Office managers attitude alone was enough for me not to want to ever return. read more

We have stayed in over 450 RV Parks while traveling full-time in a 42-foot coach. This was our first visit here staying 6-nights (site #88 - Pd $42 per-night with senior discount) in June 2020. (1) Dust, some parks are so dusty that even after just a couple nights your unit needs a bath, no dust here. This park gets 5-stars for paved roads. (2) Level pads, big coaches need paved or thick gravel pads that are level. We give this park a 5-star-rating for the level pad, but only 4-star-rating because the pad was gravel. However, the gravel pad was very thick. The space between each site was less than average size and we couldn't fully extend our awning because it would've touched the slide of the unit next to us. (3) We live in the age of WIFI technology and there is nothing to stop any RV Park across this country from investing in doing WIFI properly. For some users such as ourselves, WIFI is an important feature. This park receives 5-stars for their great WIFI. (4) Maneuverability, some parks have very narrow roads which makes backing up and turning difficult, we found this park to have plenty of room to maneuver. (5) Satellite, as you know satellite reception is impossible hard to receive when there are large trees present. If you stay away from the sites with the tall trees to the south, you should receive reception here. (6) Phone Service, we have AT&T which worked great here. (7) No off-leash fenced dog area here, instead there are two dog poop areas. One is located at the very front of the park and consists of a small patch of grass, whereas the one in the rear is more spacious but situated on the side of a hill with uneven, rocky ground and not elderly or disabled friendly. Both are equipped with bags and a waste basket. read more

I must relay an experience on June 13, this year. My wife and I entered Driftwood RV park in Brookings Oregon using the secondary driveway the property had because the main entrance by the office was blocked by another RV. As we came around attempting to return to the office area a man in a golf cart began yelling at us for using the wrong driveway. I got out of our truck and proceeded to inform him my daughter arrived before us and we already had our space number and you didn't need to yell at us. A man I assumed was the manager/owner showed up and I thought he might diffuse the situation but he began yelling that we don't drive on to a property without stopping at the office first. The situation went from bad to worse when he announced we were to leave because he didn't want our "KIND" in his park. I am 67 years old, traveled to 47 states and I was in the hospitality business for 27 years. Never have I been asked to leave any business or have I been so rudely treated. We recently stayed two days at the Driftwood Our experience was splendid to say the least. The customer service was top of the line both over the phone and in person. I must say, all the staff displayed such a warm and welcoming feeling when we arrived. During our visit, we met many other guests who stated that they visit often. First impressions always stick with us. We choose it from our good Sam's guide. It mentioned they give military discounts. So with out looking at others near by. We stopped in. Asked about the discount, were told because we were staying a week there was already pay for 6 get 7th free. Well that's not just for vets. Then after we put a deposit down , the office gal told me it's already empty, so just see her to settle up the next day. So we knew which spot and drove to it backing in. When a truck drove up and (the owner) yelled out that we hadn't checked in. I said yes when we made the dep. the previous day. He was rude and yelled not with me, and drove off. So long story short we are/ did stay. But if this is the way you treat your vets, my husband is a Vietnam veteran we won't be back. The reason for the 2 stars is the walking distance to the ocean beach walk. read more

We booked at the last minute for a space in order to watch the kite flying event at the harbor near Brookings. Upon arrival, the most unusual thing happened: a man escorted us, as I was towing my travel trailer, and he pointed out our space. Then he stayed to assist with me parking my trailer in the exact correct location within our space. My wife and I didn't have to Exchange any words, Rob did all the directing. He is priceless. The space was immaculate. They have a small, but well stocked convenience store, with competitive prices. They have a very friendly staff. We will stay there many more times. They are an easy walk to the beach. There are very good restaurants close by, but not in walking distance. One minor issue, but not enough to reduce the number of stars: the WIFI is weak and drops easily. I found that I often had to reconnect and found that a bit of an irritant. On the other hand, their cable channel selection is pretty good. read more

Boring, standard RV Park with the usual parking lot design. Ocean is four football fields away. Crummy area for pets to relieve themselves. Why can't RV parks be more creative in their designs? Why do they think we want to vacation in a parking lot? Go to Harris Beach instead. Beautiful design, lots of privacy and well-established landscape. read more

The new staff are super nice and very accommodating, from the owner all the way to the guy who cleans the restrooms. I really can't say enough about them, honest, friendly. This park looks great and is in an ideal location for fishing, boating, beach activities, dining, as well as close to the Chetco river. I would recommend this park to anyone looking for a clean friendly and fair priced place to stay. read more

Eh, ho hum. An RV Park. Nothing new, just a place to sleep. Our site was directly under a very large muddy hill with a huge tree that looked like it was ready to come crashing down on us. The spaces were very tight which made for a rather interesting musing on my part, had that hill collapsed, it would made it quite impossible for the fire department to find us for days. I was glad our refrigerator was stocked up and we had several bottles of champagne at the ready. Come morning, the soggy hill and the saggy tree were still there and our stash of champagne was still untouched and waiting to be sipped on another day. Stay there if you dare and be sure to bring the bubbly, just in case. read more

We have stayed here twice with the same issues, wanted to give them a second chance. The park is ok, concrete pads and gravel. No pool or hot tubs. Good location close to beach. The people that run it don't like pets and let you know it. The spots up front with a view of the are never "available" and stay empty, when they tell you they are reserved. Will not stay here again. read more

My husband and I called from the rest stop just a few miles away, in need of a last-minute spot that we could stay in for two weeks. We didn't hold out much hope, but we lucked into the last spot in the park, and it's been a great experience. The location is great, just cross the street to get to the beach and harbor. The little store onsite has necessities and gift items at reasonable prices. The staff has been super nice--we live in our RV full time and these people are among the best we have had the pleasure of doing business with. (They even let us in the store almost an hour after closing time when we got a craving for ice cream!) In our spot, the Wi-Fi has been very reliable and robust enough to use our Apple TV. The rest of the town is within five or ten minutes' drive, including a laundromat, liquor stores, many restaurants and a Fred Meyer. Clean park (though we are right across from the rear dumpster so we get some nasty whiffs when walking the dog just before garbage day), nicely maintained. read more

We stayed at Driftwood RV Park for 6 nights. The staff was very helpful when I called to make the reservation. Checkin was easy including lots of information of where to go and what to do. An employee assisted my husband in locating our spot and parking our rig. The restrooms were clean. The park was clean. Very quiet for a great nights sleep. I would not encourage families with small children because there isn't a playground. Will definitely stay there again. read more

While needing a place to stay overnight, the staff was very helpful in setting us up with an after hours check-in. The location seemed pleasant and the restrooms were clean. With few amenities, this park may be good as a central location to vacation from, but not necessarily a place to vacation at. read more
