I recently celebrated my 1 year anniversary here at Drip105 Hot Yoga formerly known as Bikram Yoga Camp Hill. Different name, same great studio. The entire complex (Cedar Cliff Mall) is currently getting a makeover (new roof, signage, etc). Some days I have to drive around the complex in order to get to bikram but it will be so worth it when the construction is done. The studio started offering Inferno Hot Pilates classes along with the traditional bikram classes. Inferno Hot Pilates is high intensity/low impact interval training using Pilates principles. It is a 60 minute class in a 95 degree room. Not as hot as bikram and not as long but it sure is a workout! It is challenging, a full body workout!! Prepare to sweat and feel the BURN! I highly recommend it. It is nice to have a mixture of inferno hot Pilates and bikram yoga. There is so much energy in the room from the instructors and students. You will not be disappointed. The class is currently offered on Saturdays at noon, Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings. And, they are included in whichever package you have! A new name, new look, comes with a new website and tons of fun and interesting challenges. The website is updated with instructor bios, class schedules and times along with all the up to date events and challenges! You can also register for classes through the Mindbody app. I love the app! I can easily see my schedule for the week and all the classes I have taken in the past. There are the occasional 30, 60 day challenges where students challenge themselves to practice everyday for X amount of days. This month, there's a BINGO challenge. It has motivated me to practice more often...and there are even prizes you can win, a BONUS! This studio is simply amazing. I am so glad I found DRIP105 HOT YOGA! P.s. I am visiting this area for the holidays and wanted a place to sweat. I'm an avid spinner so, i was a First timer for the Pilates. Over all, super sweet instructor and staff. I personally couldn't make it through the last 10 mins (totally for my own doing because I hated the heat) and because the playlist was TERRIBLE. Also, please get a water fountain for your members, i had to fill my water bottle in the sink in the laundry room. read more

I travel between Europe and the US on a frequent basis for my job. Whenever I'm away from home I like to practice Bikram because it's a good workout, the positions will be the same in every studio so even if I don't speak the local language I know what to expect, and it's a fun and interesting way to have interaction with people that call the area home. That being said, this is one of the better studio's I've visited. I attended two classes at Bikram Yoga Camp Hill and was very pleased with the experience. The instruction was great (I definitely took some things away to improve on in my practice), the instructors were friendly, and the other students were very friendly as well. They really seem to have a family type of atmosphere going on. With out a doubt this would be my regular studio If I lived in the Harrisburg\Mechanicsburg area. This place is amazing - I've been practicing Bikram for at least 2 solid years and it's changed my life. The way I deal with stress has changed, my energy levels are up and the longer I continue, the more I reap the health benefits. I enjoy the 90 minute classes but the modified 75 minute classes are perfect for when you want to get a great start to your day. The Power Yoga class is amazing when you want to slow things down. Inferno Hot Pilates is a wonderful class where they do moves based on the HIIT method for an hour. It's an excellent complement to Bikram. Overall, you can't lose. The best part: at the end of every class they give you a lavender-infused cold washcloth. I highly recommend trying them out. read more

I absolutely love Bikram yoga. This is the only form of yoga that I do. As a former distance runner who was literally ruining my hips and knees, it was a godsend finding Bikram. Only this yoga mimics the identical feeling you get after a long run. It is an intense, yet calming, workout. And, it is the identical 26+2 postures and breathing exercises regardless of the studio. So, you can go anywhere and you know exactly what you're getting. Having practiced Bikram in many studios throughout the United States, Drip 105 Hot Yoga is by far the cleanest and most welcoming studio I've been to. The instructors are wonderful and always very encouraging. Laura, the owner, takes great pride in her studio and it shows in everything she does. She's constantly trying to meet and exceed the needs of her practitioners. And now, the studio is offering Inferno Hot Pilates classes in addition to Bikram! I have just started going and I have to say I absolutely love it! This will make my forth class today and it has been quite the journey already. I have had three different guides so far and I must say each have their own style, but ultimately I didn't mind some of the varies ways they take you through each position (which that doesn't change its always the same sequence) which is nice. I did a lot of looking around my first class as there isn't someone actually demonstrating, however when they know you are just learning they praise and offer suggestions as you go throughout the class which was very nice. The room is 105 degrees and 40% humidity but honestly its not as bad as it sounds haha. Now I am bias in the fact that I absolutely love heat! I have found some days are good for me while others I am completely struggling but with practice I hope to get better. The vibe of the studio is very mellow and relaxed and if you have questions before or after they are really good with answering them. The website is very user friendly and I highly recommend taking a peek at it. I reserve my class spot on their usually and cancelling etc.. is easy as well. I did their new student promotion of $49.00 unlimited classes for a month. Verse the $15.00 drop in rate. I knew after the first class I would surely be doing more classes, couldn't pass it up. I have also found that being near the window/door there are moments you catch a cool breeze, which for a beginner is a nice way to ease into this. I don't think this is intentional however I think it's just how it happens with the layout/structure of the room. Trust me though it is HOT and you will SWEAT! I started off the first two classes with workout pants but have since decided against that. Shorts and a sports bar do me fine. It makes the difference for sure. A longer narrow towel and yoga mat seems more ideal here also. I'd invest in one of those mats designed for hot yoga if you decide to continue on, as I have and it makes the world of difference. So in conclusion, if you've always wanted to try Bikram Yoga (hot yoga) this would be the place to start! read more
