The first step, three or four days after you receive a ticket, is to call the local jurisdiction and say, 'I don't want this to go on my record, is there anything I can do to prevent that?' Traffic school is often an option. More and more states are keeping records of traffic infractions, and making the information available your insurance company. This action alone will costs you hundreds of dollars in increased premiums over the next three years. If you get another ticket, or are involved in an accident, or it could lead to a loss of your license. This course is informative, with a wonderfully engaging presenter and the cost is only $35.00. This happened a few times. Fast forward 4 1/2 months he was still not scheduled for in car sessions. Finally got a call back after showing up in person and leaving a bad review on another site. Told the owner Craig that we were fed up and wanted money back. No refund was offered. Some of these kids pay for this class with their own money. It's just not right. Avoid this place at all costs. Wait a little longer for the other school to have openings. It will still be a shorter wait than this driving school.

I came into this school with 17 years previous experience. It should not have taken more than even…read morethe standard 12 weeks, but it did because they do not adhere to the NTSB standards of CDL teaching. The instructors themselves are typically under the influence of prescription or illegal drugs. They listen to and spread gossip about the students. Students spend more time twiddling their thumbs during instructor smoking and gossip breaks than they do in the driver seat. Instructors do not help students to get their permits. They are told instead to go and read and study the books. Period. No explanation. No guidance. Students largely teach other students more than instructors do to teach them. That is, unless you come in there with a great deal of experience and try to help to teach the other drivers. In that case, you are chastised and criticized and publicly insulted as I was. The lead instructor is not a leader or an instructor by any means. He does not know how to lead or to teach. He only knows how to bark orders and to intimidate. He favors those who pay cash or who suck up to him. Everyone else, he treats as less than worthy of his time. This old, dying man is the worst part of the organization and creates such an unhealthy environment! He doesn't do much to teach. He yells and casts insults more than he actually teaches. It's the students that teach the students more than he does. On top of that, they don't teach the students to learn the relationship between the truck and the trailer. Instead, they teach them to back according to the tapes on the placard on the front of the trailer for the offset back and the tapes on the landing gear under the trailer for the 90 degree back. As if these tapes are going to teach them anything? There are no tapes out in the real world! It's doing such a disservice to the students that they bring in! The organization itself is run unethically. They lie on the evaluations. The don't stand by their own bylaws and are not run according to the Tennessee Department of Higher Education guidelines in truth, yet claim to do so. They are not a good organization to attend. If I had known better beforehand, I would have gone to Tennessee Truck Driving School instead. As long as they continue to operate the way that they have for the last several months, if you want a quality education, go elsewhere. Do NOT go here!

More than one student had to receive attention for heat exhaustion. Only one instructor for 17 students who will expect you to be a pro after the first explanation of anything. Thinks it's funny to yell "REACT" at you will you are trying to drive for the first time even though you won't get any 1 on 1 time or any explanation as to what REACT actually means, but it sure does conjure up some good ole laughs. You get 30 min for lunch, he takes an hour while you bake outside waiting. Accommodations are a joke and a health hazard as well. Black mold all in the air ducts, bacteria infested bathrooms. Dead bugs on the floor appliances that haven't been cleaned or maintained for years. They won't even provide toilet paper or trash bags even though they are making 3,200\mo off of students being housed there in a roach motel that wouldn't even qualify for Gov. housing! They actually have the nerve to call it a "Condo" so you don't even consider alternatives. Taylor the so called "director" who couldn't manage her way out of a wet paper sack will let you know just how much of a burden you are if you even think of complaining. The woman who conducts the drug test for the DOT has no business in a clinical setting. Who handles men's urine with no gloves and without washing her hands in between? Keep your eye on your containers cause she isn't going to. Not sure why they have to go to Orlando for testing. Your second container will be no good if there are any problems. Barry, mister athletic shorts and flip flops, school owner will coach you to lie on your DOT application making sure he is standing in the camera blind spot while doing so. "Don't tell the DOT anything about your health, even if it's true", "check NO on line 31 no matter what" cause elsewise I'll have to dismiss you and lose the $8,000 you represent. SHOP AROUND
