So I'm averaging everything out to 4 stars. 1. My wife stopped by a few years ago to get a quote for bumper repair on our old Chevy Malibu. The manager was very rude to my wife and said he didn't have time to deal with people that were quote shopping for an insurance money payout. My wife was furious! In fact, she flipped out. My wife is from Peru, South America, and she was convinced that the entire episode was racist and demeaning to her as a Latin woman. 2. I stopped by last year to get a quote on rust repair and new paint for my daughter's big jacked up, blacked out, bad ass Cadillac Escalade with 37 inch tires. Jesse convinced me that the money for rust repair alone would be at least $15,000. I'd be better off starting with a different rust-free vehicle from a southern state. Oh, well. A bitter pill but good honest advice and much appreciated. 3. Most recently Blue Line repaired my Toyota Matrix. It was hit by the tire delivery lady at Slim's Motor Clinic while parked out back. The insurance company sucked. But Blue Line was awesome! Once payment was finally received, they did a beautiful job. And they did it with lightning speed. They even did some extra painting, which I really appreciated. Excellent communication too. After 51 days, Jesse took mercy on me and let me take the car...even though the insurance company hadn't made the final payment yet. I didn't, but slid all the way through the ditch and was stopped from going into oncoming traffic by those steel rope guard wires. The truck bounced off and I got out to look at the damage. The whole entire side of the truck was shredded. The insurance adjustor said it was totaled out at over 7,000 - everything was junk. I could have that and they'd take the truck, or I could have 5,600 and keep the truck. I was told I was making a mistake by keeping it, and proceeded to look for a body shop. Dave quoted me at 3,600 and stayed within his price by repairing many things others wanted to throw away. He came to my house where the truck was to make a quote, and when he found extra damage under the body fixed it all. I was impressed. The only thing is, Dave is not fast, but his price and AWESOME and detailed work made the wait well worth the while.
