Great pies! We had chocolate cream pie and key lime pie. The owners were very friendly and make great pies.

There's no contest, no question, no debate. Any argument is over. If you want to have the most delicious pie there's only one place to go...Drive-By Pies. Perfect crust, fresh fillings, made daily, 100% handmade and all natural ingredients. So that's it end of story whenever I get a pie there's only one place to go (l'm just trying to save you time). But there's more, last week I stopped and got a sandwich called the green monster: Chipotle mayo, fresh mozzarella, tomato, avocado and bacon on sour dough bread. One bite and every taste bud came to life (those buds are still talking about). Don't get me going on the cider muffin tots, brambles, cappuccino, turnovers, breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, eclairs, soups, chicken pot pies...but those are just MY favorites. My son's GF brought us a box of assorted goodies from here on Friday. Fantastic! Little cheesecake, key lime pies, blondies, carrot cake... all crazy good and very fresh. The cheesecake had a thick crust (I am a big fan, but my husband was not). The key lime was superb - as good as it gets. All extremely decadent and delicious. I loved this place! Strictly pick up only. You can order ahead of time but I happened to be passing through and starving and I called to see if they had anything left and luckily they did! It was around 2 and they were nearly sold out and due to close at 3. I bought a sweet pecan pie and a savory meat pie to heat up in the oven later. Delish. I also bought out six of their cranberry & 7 layer bars, both flavors were insanely good. My crew has a severe sweet tooth. Customer service was friendly, helpful & generous from the two amazing women there. Let's call them K & E. I felt safe there, and it was a pleasure speaking with them there & over the phone. Coming out of physical therapy the other day, I decided to treat myself to a pie. My favorite kind is blueberry, so that's what I bought. I commented to the girl at the counter that "I've NEVER spent $20 on a pie in my life (I'm 74), so I sure hope it's worth it." She said, "it will be," and it WAS! Perhaps the best blueberry pie I've had in my life. Blueberries were flavorsome and whole! Liquid had the perfect level of sweetness and crust was also excellent. I have it in the refrigerator and when I cut a slice, I put it in the microwave at 30% power for 1.5 minutes. Just slightly warm and perfect for my taste. It was my first Drive-By Pie, but it certainly won't be my last!! Highly recommended!! read more

I stopped by on a whim for my first visit to this small storefront on Cypress St just south of Rte 9. Picked up a Turkey Club for lunch and two take & bake items for later: cinnamon buns and a meat pie. The sandwich was excellent. Fresh roasted Turkey (I'm guessing cooked in house) piled generously on a sturdy sourdough bread with Mayo, some quality bacon and crisp L&T. It tasted like a sandwich you would make at home with thanksgiving leftovers and some lovely fresh bread. I mean that in the best way...it was very satisfying and flavorful while remaining modest. Maybe a tad bit steep at nearly $10 after tax, but I don't fault them...they're using high quality ingredients and making everything from scratch. I'm guessing you won't be disappointed in their sandwiches. Fast forward to the next day when I made the cinnamon buns for breakfast and then the meat pie for lunch and all I can say is I am going to be supporting this awesome bakery all winter long. Cinnamon buns are PERFECT and are done in 20 mins at 375 degrees. The meat pie (sort of a ground beef version of chicken pot pie, with a bit of tomatoes, mushrooms and carrots) was something I've never had and was totally on point. Not too greasy at all and the pie crust was rich and tied the whole package together just so. Would you drive for an hour to come here? No, probably not, but I think it's still one of the better bakeries in the city and one that offers every conceivable fruit pie, really special savory pies, muffins and pastries and a tidy selection of homey tasting sandwiches. I can't really "drive by" this place without wanting every pie in the case. This past Thanksgiving, we had seven people and six pies! I'm a little in love with the Pear Salted Caramel, which is absolutely amazing and the Pumpkin is one of the best I've ever had. But honestly, we've had a lot of these mouthwatering pies since Drive-By Pies opened and they are all a 10. Also, I LOVE THEIR CHICKEN SALAD. And I DON'T EVEN LIKE CHICKEN SALAD. It's freshly made, on the premises, and has not been drowned in mayo like most chicken salad. it also has cranberries in it, which are just the right accent. And Franny, the owner is incredibly nice, as is everyone who works at the shop. I'm a fan. read more

First time buying something from here. Very small, homemade bakery. I bought the individual cheesecake with raspberries. It was a little pricey, but I would pay that much again. It is delicious. What makes it different is the crust. It has some sort of toffee crumbled in with the crust. So so good!!! I just wish I had a bigger piece!!! read more

Stopped at Drive-By on our way through Boston and already looking forward to our next visit! The sandwich ingredients were fresh, and the sourdough bread was amazing.
