Don't be like us and show up the week before Thanksgiving expecting to get a pie. There were also extending circumstances that affected their pie production. Regardless, we enjoyed their pastries and drinks, as well as their friendly service and would definitely come back.

I've had a lot of pumpkin pies in my life, but Drive-By's is unreal. Can't recommend it enough. Would love to try more off the menu in the future.

How does excellence get better? Focus, hard work, and creativity! That's DBP. Look at the chocolate cake with buttercream frosting!!! Insanely delicious and blows away the competition including yes the infamous party favors. Best of all - this is no chain but the blood, sweat and tears of a small business owner who doesn't rest on her past success. Love this place. Enjoy!

Large warm fresh apple pie - scrumptious!!!

Best little bakery!!! Who knew??? They have the most scrumptious looking pies (fresh baked right there!) large and mini sizes, sandwiches, soup, cookies, pastries, frozen meal pies to take and bake, all of it from scratch. I just bought an apple pie still warm. Omg- to die for! Perfect crust, perfect filling, perfect sweetness. I know pie! I am from the south. I prefer a la mode ( with vanilla ice cream on top/side) Sadly I see myself increasing in size as this place is so close to my house, lol. Go, you won't be disappointed:)

    Take & Bake Cinnamon Buns

OK, this really is a five-star place. It's tiny, but they have so much, and every single thing I tried was delicious! I showed up hungry, so I was ready to buy them out. I initially did an online order for the "take and bake" cinnamon buns, but I KNEW I'd be making an in-store purchase. In addition to the "take and bake" cinnamon buns, I got a danish that had a mixture of fruit in it, a mini cheesecake with fresh blueberries on top, a cream cheese brownie, and a Nanaimo bar. (You know, just a light snack.) OMG I was shook. Everything I tried was good. The stars of the show were the cinnamon buns and the cheesecake. The cinnamon buns were soft, fluffy, and delicious. They might not have been the "best" cinnamon rolls I've ever had, but they were darn good, and I would 100% buy them again. The cheesecake was exactly how I expect cheesecake to taste - crust and all. I'm so glad that I don't live too close to this place because I'd likely have them on speed dial if I did. I feel like it's important to note that this is more of a take-out spot. There are no actual tables to sit down and eat inside, but they do have a counter with some seats if you want to enjoy your treats there. I chose to take my treats home so that I could enjoy them later, but the woman who helped me out knew that I would be eating SOMETHING immediately, so she packed my danish so that it would be easily accessible for me to eat in the car. (Such thoughtful consideration.) Also of importance was the "Yaaaas, Queen" type of support I received when I kept adding items to my order. We love this! After this excellent experience, I want to go back and actually try one of everything. Knowing me, I probably will. (Also, plenty of street parking! )

Chicken pot pie. Bake at home! Absolutely delicious. $19 with tax.
    Yuka Y.

I'm a huge fan of their chicken pot pie. With tax, it's ~$19 each for a 9 inch pie. FYI: Their chicken pot pies are not cooked when bought- pop it in the oven for 30-40 mins at home and the end result is absolutely beautiful. The pie crust is phenomenal, golden brown and flaky to perfection. It's loaded with shredded chicken and vegetables. Great for gifts, pot lucks, or an easy dinner at home. Have yet to try their baked goods, but Drive-By Pies on Cypress St. is a wonderful addition to the Brookline community!

Waited about 30 min or so in line which ended up being well worth it. The inside of the shop is very small so they only let a few people in at a time. We tried several items, all of which were delicious. -Monkey bread with chocolate - super soft on the inside with a slight crisp exterior with chunks of chocolate spread throughout that melt in your mouth. Wish there was more chocolate in it but that's my chocolate tooth talking -Honey stack - layers of croissant pastry with honey and a salty top layer that creates a delicious sweet/salty flavor combo. My second favorite of what we tried! -Blueberry scone - a moist blueberry and cranberry filled scone that is soft yet dense and covered in sugar crystals that allow for an amazing textural contrast -Chocolate pistachio croissant - my personal favorite; a croissant with chocolate and pistachio filling (while I love a plain croissant, I am a sucker for jazzed up pastries) -Regular croissant - perfect layers of buttery pastry Recommend coming on non-weekend days to avoid long lines!

Sometimes they do not have what I am looking for as they sell out early but thats alright as always find something new to try. The place is very small so you may find yourself waiting outside for a bit on certain busy days. A nice hidden bakery I think ppl should experience. They have some good holiday foods, something different each day. But again go early

I've been drooling over the passion fruit krembo and the pear tart so I had to give them a try as well. Pear tart- absolutely perfect, so mellow and sweet and I loved the poached pear in the middle! Passionfruit krembo- honestly stronger on the coconut and meringue flavor than on the passion fruit? Tastes almost like a lemon meringue tart to me. Orange blossom latte- frankly didn't get any flavor of orange blossom in the latte, until it melted totally I could taste it a little in the coffee. The vanilla was also really light. It's a pretty unadulterated coffee (as is typical for a cold brew) and I kinda like my coffee sweet and creamy, so I was not too impressed on a first taste. But once it melted I liked it a lot more. Probably will stick with black sesame next time. Note- they serve their pastries glued with sugar (?) on a cardboard round. Im not too sure how to eat it like this so I ended up prying them off the round.

Always love Tatte! I mean, what's not to love they have incredible coffee, tease, bakery items, and…read moreso many great dishes. Walking into a Tatte is like warm hug, it's a positive, welcoming, and bright environment to be in. All of the cafes are so aesthetically pleasing and get a lot of natural light. This location does have some indoor seating, but is a bit more limited than some of the other locations. They do have a lot of outdoor seating though. It's also a great area to walk around if you get your coffee and or pastry to go. It of course gets busy at peak times on weekends and morning during the week. Brunch is big at Tatte, and rightfully so. I don't think it's the best place to try to work, but you can bring a computer in do some work or study, but it can also get loud when there's lots of conversations being held. I've had great interactions with the staff at this location and even when it's busy, I haven't had to wait too long to get my order. I've been loving the pumpkin spice tahini latte this fall. Looking forward to my next stop in!
