    Chocolate Chip Cookie

I can't say for sure whether this place lives up to all the social media hype, but I can say they serve up a pretty tasty cookie that is up there with levain and chip city for me. I will say, I tried their original chocolate chip, and it's definitely on the sweeter side and is made with almost a crumbly cake-like dough which is most prevalent around the edges. As for the center, it's gooey and doughy as can be, which is delish imo. Still, it maintains a nice crispy exterior. As for the service, it's pretty quick and the employees are super kind. The ambiance is chic with a few touches of rustic/baker-esque decor, but definitely a small place with no where to really sit or even stand to wait. Which is tough because if you're like me, it'll take you a while to decide between their many delicious looking flavors. Overall, though I've had many cookies that are just as good if not better than this one, I can still assure you this is a great option and one of a kind for the area. It tastes exactly how you imagine it would and definitely satisfies your ooey gooey cookies cravings! I'm definitely curious to try their other flavor combos to see if they're even better!

This 3-star review breaks heart. Though there was a long line, it moved fairly quickly. Once we made it inside the beautiful shop, we were greeted with nothing smiles and the barista made some recommendations based on our likes. So, we were off to a great start and were excited to try the drinks and the cookie. We ordered the Cannoli Latte and Marathon Fuel for drinks with a churro cookie. The presentation was 10/10 but they fell short on the actual taste side. We had requested the drinks to be on the less sweet side, but they were extremely sugary and we couldn't even get through half of it. Now the cookie was delicious. It was soft and gooey with filling in the middle. Decent sizing but definitely pricey. I wouldn't go back for the drinks but I would be down to try other cookies.

Truthfully not worth the 1 hour, 20 minute wait in line. We ordered one of the specialty coffees (The Britney) which was basically Dunkin' Donuts with lucky charms on top. The store is super tiny and their machines can't keep up with the extremely high demand that they've been getting so the espresso machine kept breaking down. It broke down 1 person before I got to order and from the sounds of the manager, it happens frequently and they need to wait 15-20 minutes for it to cool down (probably the reason the line takes so long). When we did receive our 3 drinks, one was made wrong so we had to wait again for the correct drink. I will say when we were waiting they came out with samples of the cookies which was nice! The Funfetti and Chocolate were fine but trying them made me realize that I didn't want to buy cookies once it was my turn to order.

Waited in line with a friend for about 30 minutes for this trendy cookie shop! To drink, we both got the April special - the cannoli latte. I think it was $7. Very yummy! But I do enjoy a sugary coffee, so if you're a traditional coffee/espresso person this might not be for you. The chocolate chips and bits of cannoli were delicioso! We also got the salted Twix cookie and brookie. Each cookie was $6.25 which I do think is a bit $$ but they were delicious cookies nonetheless. Super moist and gooey. The salty contrast from the Twix cookie made it my favorite ! It is located in a shopping spot with lots of parking spots and with protection from a rainy day like today! There was no space to sit though!! I did not see the tables inside that were mentioned in other reviews but there are some just outside

The Half Cookie is a in a small storefront located right next to the Star Market in The Street. There's a few seats inside if you'd like to sit and eat, but this seems more like a come by for a cookie/coffee/drink and keep going. I think that style is perfect for this type of bakery though. The cookies were delicious! We got the Sea Salt Nutella, M&M Oreo, and the Boyfriend material. It was kinda wild that our total for 3 cookies was $25. The cookies are so dense too that we could only eat half in one sitting (because we literally got full!), but when I saved the other half to eat later, it's not nearly as good as it was when I first tried the cookie when it was warm out of their oven. The boyfriend cookie alone is $10. Friendly staff and yummy cookies all in all!

There's so much to appreciate about this cute little spot. First- ambience. It's clean, beautifully decorated, and feels cozy. All the items are thoughtfully prepared and look delicious. I also love that they have gluten and dairy free options (even a gf/df cookie, which was so yummy). There's a fun seasonal menu- I grabbed a Bejeweled latte and loved it. Service is super fast and friendly. It is on the pricy side, but if you're having a "treat yourself" day, this is the place to go!

Twix cookie... just totally over the top outrageous

Probably best cookie I've eaten The salted caramel Twix Pricy, but the size and thicker than regular cookies. My go to when in area

I had been dying to get my hands on a cookie butter latte from the half cookie! I visited on a Friday around noon and waiting in line about 20-25 minutes. It wasn't too bad! I ordered a latte and 4 cookies and it was over 30 dollars. The cookies are very expensive but they are massive. I don't think I could even finish one on my own. I got the Nutella Sea Salt, Churro, M&M Oreo and Salted Caramel twix. I was super excited for these delicious flavors, and while they were delicious, they strangely all sort of tasted the same. I wasn't really picking up any notes of the described flavors. They were great cookies but next time I would probably just get one. I really enjoyed the cookie butter latte! I'm not a person who likes sweet coffee, and much to my surprise, the latte wasn't sweet at all! The flavor was actually perfect and I loved it.

Went on mother's day and thought there would be a giant line surprisingly none, first in line. Staff was friendly & fast. Cookie butter latte was great, sweeter than i normally drink but a great treat. My favorite cookie is the sea salt Nutella scrumptious. I'll be back

a super cute and fun popup! A few small tables and seats against the wall. Ironically did not come here for the cookies but rather the fun cookie themed coffees - we had the chocolate chip latte and cookie butter latter and enjoyed both (I personally preferred the cookie butter). The pink heart shaped straw too was such a cute touch. Our server was the owner of the half cookie who was so kind, friendly, and helpful with suggestions! Definitely want to come back and try the cookies.

    Frosty Latte

Super cute place! Loved the numerous monthly specials and huge cookies. The Frosty Latte featured unique snowman drawings on each cup and the cookies were big enough to share between two people or to save half for later. Not a lot of sitting space so just stop in for a quick treat or take your order to go.

Baked goods are excellent. I did not try the specialty lattes that they are known for but they make a solid regular latte (best paired with a cookie). This location is not ideal for meeting up with a friend or sitting down, but a good spot to stop in for a treat in the Newton/Chestnut Hill area.

Amazing cookies. Didn't come here for the cookies, though. I came because I heard great things about the coffee. My gf got the cookie butter latte and I got the Nutella s'mores. It seems like the place isn't really set up for coffee. It takes a while - not necessarily a bad thing but it's clear that coffee is not the #1 priority. The coffee just... wasn't good.. The Nutella s'mores had no Nutella- it was a tart hazelnut latte with delicious marshmallow cold foam which was the only highlight. The cookie butter latte was also tart Disappointed and will not come back for coffee but WILL be back for cookies.

I've ordered Fuel America two days in a row because of how good their matcha, fruit bowls, and croissants are. The matcha is just amazing, they have a ton of flavor selections and milk options, I was so happy there wasn't an up charge for oat milk unlike other places I've ordered from. Their fruit bowls are SO fresh, I was truly shocked at how good their berries were, no soggy or mushy ones. To me, I feel like they definitely put care into making the bowls and they are so beautifully put together as well. And last but certainly not least, the croissants are absolutely delicious. They are perfectly cooked, soft, flaky and buttery. Can't wait to try more stuff

The place itself is usually quite spacious, designed with an airy, French-inspired feel that often includes countertop seating and plenty of tables. We stopped in and tried a matcha latte and a hot chocolate. The matcha latte was good, it had a nice, smooth consistency and wasn't overly sweet. I will say it didn't have quite as strong or pronounced a matcha taste as I personally prefer, but it was still a pleasant drink. The hot chocolate was similar; it was fine and comforting, but more on the milky side without a very rich, deep chocolate flavor. It's a reliable spot with a great atmosphere for meeting someone or getting some work done. While the specific drinks we had were mild, their real strength seems to be in their beautiful, house-made pastries and the overall vibe of their cafes. It's so funny, everywhere we went today there was a Tatte Bakery right next door. Guess it was a sign for us to get something from Tatte haha. I've honestly only ever visited Tatte a few times. Usually to get a drink or shakshuka. Today, we decided to get a pistachio croissant and an iced matcha latte. I love pistachio croissants with pistachio cream filling but I find that not many places around here offer that. It's usually just the croissant with crushed pistachios on top. This one, to my surprise, did have pistachio cream inside. Only had a little smear of the cream though. I found the croissant to be meh. The pistachio cream itself was tasty, however, the croissant was incredibly dry and crunchy. Must be a bit stale since we visited ~6pm/later in the day. 2.5/5 As for the matcha iced latte, it wasn't anything to write home about. It was bland. No real matcha flavor & to me, tasted like green colored milk. I'm sure they use some type of matcha powder to make the drink but this was absolutely no bueno. Unimpressed. Perhaps the worst matcha latte I've ever had. 0/5 Overall, not likely to revisit Tatte for these items. Staff was nice though!! Parking: street parking
