LONG AND DETAILED REVIEW!! I've contemplated doing this review for a LONG time now but decided to go forward with it being as honest as possible. 5 months ago my wife & I went to this dealer after a deal fell through at another dealership. We arrived at the lot and we were greeted by Ivan(nice guy) he wasn't pushy at all. We explained our situation to him and told him we both have HORRIBLE CREDIT and were looking for an affordable car. Ivan took us inside to one of the financial managers, JC, who went over our options(3 cars). all 3 cars were over $18K, we expressed our concern and were told not to worry, they will work with us. We came back the next day, test drove the cars , and picked 2( ford fusion and Volkswagen) of the 3 to continue with and see which would be our best option. Both cars were priced over $25K. The reasoning was that they wanted to get us into a " reliable and safe car while still being affordable and anything cheaper would not be safe and harder to finance". JC worked with us on getting us approved on a loan with the ford (most expensive) because it had " wiggle room to add the fees to make the loan work" ..whatever that meant. However, they advised we find someone that has better credit or gets paid more than my wife and I. My dad agreed to help us. JC worked hard and for that we are extremely appreciative. However, after finding out the total amount(which was not disclosed) we thought if he " worked hard to actually help us or just to make a deal"... This was an ALL day type of deal.ultimately, the contract ended up being under my fathers name because "he gets paid more than us" even though he has awful credit as well. Again at this point, we were super appreciative. They sat us down, started adding fees. They added their extended warranty which they never informed us it was optional, dealer fees, other warranties fees. At this point they still hadn't told us the final amount. They did tell us monthly we're looking at $701 a month. " yes that's due to bad credit". My wife and I talked about it as it's super expensive for a used 2020 car with 2 crashes, and being that we needed a vehicle and all the time wasted at that point,we agreed to move forward. They pushed us into leaving a positive google review. We even left the dealer at 10pm and received a text message the next day reminding us about the review. Upon going over the contract at home, with addition to the car price and all their hidden fees, we are left with a $52K loan for 7 years... At that point, we are very upset but nothing could be done. This is where the most upsetting part is... Couple days later; left blind spot monitoring light stays constantly on and car is making a screeching noise when being driven. We start noticing small roaches are crawling on the dash, carpet, and leather seat, we thought maybe it was cause the cat was sitting at their lot for some time. ( after multiple car washes &vacuums and roach bait, traps the roaches are a big issue). 2 weeks later, I looked at the tires since the left front tire was CONSTANTLY low in air. I saw the ENTIRE circumference of the tire was peeled on the interior part. No idea how that could happen. We took it to them and we were told they wouldn't even take a look at the car until I changed the tires, so I did. Days later, we Then Took it back to their service to get an oil change and to Informed them of what is going on and now the CV and axle are clanking when i am driving. Ivan (sales guy) told us he would speak to a service tech to get us an appointment, never happened. THE SAME DAY After the oil change, THE CAR STARTS MAKING AN AWFUL METAL ON METAL NOISE WHEN BREAKING, turns out the break pad scratched a rear rotor. Changed all 4 break pads and both rear rotors with my mechanic( they wanted to charge $500 for just the break pad change) So here we are, paying $701/month for a car infested with roaches, paying out of pocket for new tires, new break/rotors, and the ISSUES WE COMMUNICATED ARE STILL PRESENT and adding on MORE. We feel like they are just giving a run around with the services needed, knowing the extended warranty is for a limited time. after communicating with Ivan, he just gave up on being the nice guy and trying to help and gave me the service managers phone number. The dealer is clean well organized and the salesman who helped us was friendly and professional. We found a car, it was less than perfect but it met our criteria for a cheap car. We were excited to purchase, and that's were the story turns.... We go to the negotiating table and they present their first projection of the potential deal, the car that was $11,988 was now $18,000++++. They added about $5000 in absolute BS costs that amount to 0 value. This is a 42% price increase. Buyer BEWARE!!! I bought a 2018 Jeep Wrangler from Driver's Auto Mart. The sales process was fine. They were very attentive before the sale and immediately after I left (when they followed up to make sure I would leave a 5 star review), but completely ghosted me after the sale. Now I know why they were so on top of me leaving an immediate review, because everything that happened after has been a nightmare. Within a week the car broke down and left me stranded on the side of the highway with my family. Apparently a module had water damage and corrosion. Corrosion doesn't develop in a couple days and this happened on the highway, so clearly they sold me a problem car. I had it towed back to the dealership and that was three weeks ago. After the first week I stopped by to speak with the manager, he said he would follow up and get back to me on Monday. Nothing. I stopped in after two weeks and spoke with the online manager - said he and the General Manager would call me back the next day. Of course I never heard back. This dealership is affiliated with Rob Lambdin's University Dodge and University Mitsubishi of Davie, so I trusted it would be reputable. Totally not! It would be one thing if I bought a $500 beater at a buy-here-pay-here lot, but I purchased a nearly forty thousand dollar car at a franchise dealership! I finally got around to leaving a review about this horrible place that lied and cheated just to get a sale. Horrible experience! Back in late 2014 I drove passed this dealership looking for a used car. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted like a king with "friendliness". After the constant sales pressure of being put in the room and every sales person coming in and out promising above and beyond how great the car will be and there isn't even one issue with it I was sold on the 2012 Audi A4. About a week or so later I was called in to pay for the tag and taxes on it. I was told that whole part was covered during the initial process. Wtf?? When I get to drivers auto mart I went to ask those sales people (which I remembered their faces) and asked why I need to pay another 300-400 dollars and they completely ignored me like they didn't even remember me. It was all fake-nice and promises! A month after the purchase the engine and transmission went out. The front bumper suddenly just fell off as well. I took it to the Audi dealership And thank god i was still under warranty, as far as the bumper this scummy dealership didn't want to take responsibility just acted cold and ignored me. As a buyer you can expect to pay tax, tag and title costs, most dealers will also charge a dealer fee. This dealer will INSIST that these are the only fees they charge but when you get to the final deal you will find that they lie. This dealership not only charges the usual fees, they will, at the last minute add hundreds of dollars to your final price. The fees are for "non-negotiable" junk add ons. Consumer Reports calls fees such as Vin etching, nitrogen and upholstery insurance a scam, nonetheless this dealership will charge you for junk "features" such as these. Their advertised prices are dishonest. When in reality I got charged full price as he just added additional features making me feel like I was getting them free and then skimming through paperwork as fast as possible. The salesmen we dealt with was a great guy that didn't know that this dealership was setting him up for failure. I called for details on a 2012 Ram 3500 dually, white with approximately 75k miles. Vin number 3C63DRGL9CG285858. They had it listed for $31,688 when I called, after I called to let them know I was on the way they changed the price to $35,688. They changed it back to $31,688 the next day. They rig the numbers to get you to come in. I was given carfax that was missing crucial information. This is a flood truck, the inside is musty, they bought it from a Texas auction near the same time as a flood, the door vents are loaded with mud, there's even mud and clumps of grass on top of the transmission (I stuck my phone camera up there to see it after I got suspicious), all the mud is an even coat, not from off roading and it is over the ENITRE underbody. I checked this with my dad who used to be a diesel mechanic and I've researched information about issues like this for months leading up to this. I'm not blowing smoke. The carrier bearing is shot, hub caps zip tied on, unmentioned dents and dings, claimed it was a non-smoker truck but had a cigarette butt jammed between the door frame and the passenger fender. Exposed wiring under the rear passenger door poorly covered with electrical tape. I'd imagine the delete and tune is a hack job too. Long story short they bought this from an auction knowing it was a flood vehicle, tried to hide it (very poorly) and tried to scam me out of an additional 4k. I went in to look at a truck they had advertised online for $25,900. After all their fees, and a ridiculous $698 detail package that they swear they can't remove, even though I didn't want it, the truck almost came out to $30,000. Their website claims it passed their 120 point and 128 point inspections. Right off the bat. We took a test drive and no one noticed the truck had a flat tire, so now one tire is ruined. I had them put the truck on the lift so that I can inspect it. The tire was flat because the valve stem was dry rotted and had a major leak. When the technician inflated the tire, all the air immediately rushed out. Upon further inspection, here's what I found wrong: - every ball joint was worn down and almost completely gone. - the rear main seal has a leak. - the catalytic converters were oversized and did not fit, and the welds were of extremely poor quality. The previous owner must have run the truck with a cat delete because it still has anti-fouler adapters to turn off the check engine light, and the car fax shows the truck had catalytic converters replaces at Midas a few days before it was traded in. - the rack and pinion had a major wet spot around the drain plug indicating the seals inside were worn out. - the rear differential has an awful liquid gasket job and needs to be redone. I contacted my local dealership to get pricing on the repairs and their quote was $6,300, and that doesn't include the rack and pinion. So this dealership wanted nearly $30,000 for a truck that needs a full front end rebuild as well as multiple other repairs. And that's just what I could see. I attempted to make a deal with them for less than what they were asking because of the necessary repairs, and that I would take care of it myself, and this way they could just wash their hands on this vehicle and be done with it, but they wanted to play the numbers game and wouldn't budge. They bought the truck at auction, and now that they know the issues of the truck (assuming they didn't already), they're waiting for someone who doesn't know any better to come in and buy it so they can recoup their loss. Poor business ethic and a real shame. At best, they're incompetent, and at worst, they're liars. Their website says you can shop with confidence, but that couldn't be further from the truth. I was in the market for another and wanted to trade my present vehicle. I gave the sales person the specifics I wanted as far as prices are concerned. I found the vehicle, but the monthly payments were a little higher than I wanted. The finance manager lowered the payment "a little". I purchased the vehicle. The finance manager assured me I would be able to refinance after 6 months and the lower the payments. After a year, I am not able to refinance because the loan is upside down. Only finding that out when I went to refinance the representative showed me how the loan was calculated. I can't even trade the vehicle. Once the numbers were broken down, I was shocked! I was passing and saw that this was a used car sales company. I drove in and saw a 2018 toyota corolla , 5 years old being sold for $14,997.00. I test drove it and spoke to the bank and gave them my life savings of $7, 500.00 which means I had a balance of $7,497.00 to pay plus taxes etc. I spent 4 or 5 hours there and on the pages of the contract i saw a price of $14,997.00 another page I remember seeing M.S.R.P. $14,025.00 and on another page I was a price cost of $22036.14 ........I now know the meaning of "switch and bate" and initial at the bottom etc, when I reach home and looked over the contract again I had bought this car for $36,000.00 and didnt even realized what they had done.I am a senior citizen and lived in new york where I didnt have to drive and wasnt aware of this scam. before you leave check the total cost that they pull your attention away from, you dont want to be me. We were in town for just one day and we're interested in a very specific car, and from the moment we arrived, our salesperson, Richard Gamble, was ready to assist. He took us for a test drive, was knowledgeable about the vehicle, and was very patient with us when we were making decisions about the financial aspect. He also went above and beyond to push for the best outcome for us. The financial manager, David Martinez, was also very patient and helpful as we were trying to sort through the best financial options for our family. In the end, he helped us achieve the best deal, and we were able to drive away in our new family car! I highly recommend this location! *Side note: once we got home we noticed that the air filter was filthy. Zero stars if I could. I searched the web and found the truck I want. I filled out the form with my contact info. A salesman calls me back. It's almost closing time on Saturday night, so we set up a 12:15 pm appointment for the next day. This morning at 11:00 am, someone from Customer Relations, or whatever calls me to verify that I am coming down to look at the truck. I said yes, and I am ready to buy it. I have excellent credit, a valid tag to transfer to it, and pre-approved financing all lined up . I asked him to please verify that THAT truck is there, and is still available. He says, "let me triple check for you." He comes back and says that "it is out front waiting for you." I said great, I am driving 40 minutes from Boca, and I want THAT truck. As we're pulling into the lot at 12:00 pm, I see it out front. And as I am parking, a salesman walks out to it and drives it over to the side door of the building. I thought, wow, these guys are good. We walk in, hand the greeter the print out, and I tell him we are there for that truck, and I point to it as it is driving past the showroom. He giggles and says, "that couple over there are here to look at that exact truck". I got mad and told him the above paragraph. He laughs and says, "I love you too". I told him to f*#$ off and we walked out, while the other couple was getting in it to test drive it. Horrible customer service. I will never do business with this place. We went in on November 2, 2021 to see 2011 Ford Mustang they had on their website for 5,500, per fine print you had to add 899 dealer fee and 246 tag agency fee to the 5,500. So we went with the idea of 6500 to 6800. When we get there the car has has damage on the passenger that was not mention online and there is no pic of that side of the car. We advise after test drive car is worth and we go in to do number price quoted almost double because they charge maintenance performed on car delivery and Ron other junk on top of dealer fee, tag and taxes. About a day or so later the price online was changed to over 12,000. The salesman was nice the day we visited but he was slow on returning calls and pulled our chain for several days until car was finally sold. He cannot give me an answer and suggests that we look in the lot as there are 25 trucks in the lot and some are not in inventory yet. Okay, I've driven 30 minutes so why not take a quick look. After a quick look down the row, I tell the "inventory specialist" they do not have one. How do you know that he asks? I tell him that I know what the front end on the new body style looks like. This people will offer you GAP Insurance and Key, wheels & tires protection, and they give you many papers to sign telling you, you have all those services, like roadside assistance, but they don't tell you they are charging you for that. I accepted the Gap and the tire and key protection, but I changed my mind and went to the dealer to cancel it, and the first thing the finance manager said was: NO, YOU CAN NOT CANCEL THAT. But in the back of the paper says I have 60 days. He proceed to "CANCEL IT", and he told me in 2 months that will be reflected, but after 2 months I can not reject that, 1.5 month pass and this guy never canceled the membership, off course waiting for the 60 days to pass. They advertised a car for 2000$. I drove an hour in an Uber. Asked before hand if the price was correct. They said yes. When I got the paperwork it was a total of 4900$. Two and a half times the advertised price. Of course taxes was a small portion but over 2000$ in fees for a 2000$ car. Scam and Scumbag. I wouldn't trust them in any capacity. read more

Walked away from a deal yesterday, as unadvertised dealer fee's of 3k were tacked on top of the advertised price. The dealer invoice showed the action price at 16.100 and they listed the car as 12,999. Alot of employees, standing around. read more

Absolute waste of time, went in for a fairly simple deal, once we were finally presented with the contract after 3 hours of dealing with them, we did the math pointed out the numbers that didn't add up, then the owner came up and told the dealer to not sell the car to us.
