NEVER bring your classic car here. I took my 96 corvette here for ONE job and one job only and when I got my car back they broke my ecu mount after replacing the brake booster. if I didn't know so much about my car I wouldn't have seen how many things they've messed up. They scratched the paint, bent my air dams, THEY MESSED WITH MY ELECTRICAL and now won't fix what they've damaged. I needed a new steering column it took 3 weeks to get the right part by no fault of Kovacs Kia kept sending the wrong part.when I originally went to Gunther and Hollywood Kia they wanted to charge me 3799.00 for parts and Labor on top of that they put the wrong turn signal bulb in and messed up my ignition.Kovacks saved me 1400.00 dollars and fixed it beautifully.I have been going to Kovack Automotive for Over 30 years I don't trust anyone with my car but then.Thank you Alexander and Omar for your determination to get the right part and your mechanic for making sure it was installed correctly now I have to go back to Kia and make them fix my ignition.Thank you Kovacs for everything there is no one better. read more

We had been coming to this shop the past 2 years and had the most unfortunate event last year. My husbands BMW coupe had a tire that was flat and needed to be changed (he has expensive sports tires). We went in, paid for the tire to be replaced, then came back later to find they replaced the WRONG tire. After noticing this we pointed it out to the Kovac employees who were disgruntled then took the car back for another couple of hours to have this fixed and told them to replace that tire with OUR previous expensive sports tire they took. We came back a couple hours later, assuming they fixed the correct tire and had to rush to drive to Orlando. Once we were halfway there and stopped for gas, we inspected the tire again, only to find not only did they change the correct tire, but they replaced it with a USED tire where the treads were completely worn down and flush. SO DANGEROUS!! Especially on the turnpike. We had to immediately find an auto shop and PAY for ANOTHER new tire replacement. You expect to get a brand new tire, what you PAID for! Not one that you expect to be thrown out. AND ON TOP OF THAT, they changed the other tire that they were supposed to swap back with our previous expensive tire to one of THEIR tires! So they essentially stole one of our tires! They still expected us to pay in full and didn't offer a discount or apology. How criminal!! We were ready to sue them for the negligence and theft! Just to recap for those who want to skip the paragraphs, they: 1) swapped one of our expensive tires that did not need replacement with one of their tires (basically STOLE one of our tires) and 2) swapped the tire that needed replacement with a worn down USED tire with smoothed down treads **DO NOT COME HERE unless you want to go somewhere where either they don't know what they're doing or they take advantage of you. read more

if I could put 0 stars I would.... our daughter goes to school down there and took her car by herself to get it serviced and had the worst experience. not only did the employees laugh at her when she asked for a receipt to prove she wasn't being overcharged, they didn't fix the tires that we paid for them to fix. she had to have AAA plug her tire not even 24 hours after going to Kovac. we never leave a bad review but this left us in such an uncomfortable place. read more

My radiator exploded while getting onto interstate 595 west bound. I called Kovac at 530pm and spoke to Steve, he was absolutely amazing he git all of my information for my extended warranty company before I even got there, and even asked if I need a ride home. I my charger was towed there after hours and they had my car in the very next morning just like Steve said he would. I have never in all my years dealing with cars and and shops had a service rep actually keep his or her word like Steve. The whole staff including Omar the manager and Jamie another service writer were absolutely amazing. I highly highly recommend this shop to anyone that needs work done. Fixed super fast! And very friendly were all the staff members I encountered. Hoping to go back whenever I'm in need of repairs. *My Mazda 5 the Mini-Mini van. Stormy as I call her, had a broken fan. Also since my car had been parked since March 13 (Last day I was at work due to COVID) my car was super dirty. They gave me a complimentary car wash. Small detail but it totally made my day. *Updates: *Monday July 6 , 2020 Took the other car in ( Lexus 200h) dropped it off for two tires and alignment. I don't think you will ever find a more hardworking guy than Joe Kovac. The staff and mechanics are extremely knowledgeable and they do everything in their power to offer the best service in Broward County. On this visit, I came in for an oil change and some service work. I needed 2 new tires and some air filters replaced for my Mercedes. They always seem to only do the work that the car needs, never more! I like this. Rick gave me a warm welcome when I arrived. He wrote up my service order. He called me when they looked at my car to give me my estimate. BTW, I have been working with Rick for around 20 years. I don't think you could ask for a better employee (great people skills++) and I just found out he is bilingual, even better! Kovac's pricing is more than reasonable. Their labor charges are pretty standard and I have never felt that they have ripped me off for a dime. They get pretty busy, so I suggest making an appointment to bring your car in. They also offer free complimentary shuttle service to get you home or to work (local area). If you have any car issues or just need some maintenance work done, this is the ONLY place you should take your business. Rating: A+ read more

The first employee I checked in with Mr. Steve was courteous and he understood my concern for getting my vehicle back on time as I'm a special needs mom and he promised to get it back to me early and it was even earlier than what he committed too! I had a challenge after same day and Brandon was super helpful and insisted on providing me an uber. All the gentlemen there were courteous and respectful and seemed genuine.
