    Do not go to the Moline location if you want anything done for you. I moved back here from PA last…read moreyear and went to them for a title transfer on two cars. The first car was done no problem. We brought in the purchase agreement and they were able to process the title transfer with the bank. I went to get the second car transferred a couple months later and they told me the policy had changed and they would need a COPY of the title instead of the purchase agreement but they would try to process it anyway with just the purchase agreement and they would ask my bank for a copy of the title. Fast forward 2 months from that time, and I get a phone call telling me that they weren't able to get a copy of my title from my bank in PA and they mailed me back the refund, minus the 40 dollar processing fee. I get a copy from my bank sent to me and I took it to the Melin Agency on 15th Street in Moline where they then tell me they have to have the actual title. When I said that I was told a copy would be fine the woman replied "who told you that?" and I pointed a finger in her direction and said "you did". I do not own the vehicle so a true and certified copy was sent from the state of PA copied front and back as well as notarized with a notary stamp from the bank. They told me they would still try to process the request for title transfer in March of this year. 1 week ago I got called once again saying that they're only allowed to process a title transfer one time for temp tags on the same vehicle and that they were sending me back my refund (again minus the 40 dollar processing fee... even tho they couldn't process the request) and that in order to get the transfer completed I would have to go to the DMV in Silvis. The refund hasn't shown up in the mail so I called to ask if they were sending it to me or if I had to come get it. The person who answered my call was Brittany, the owner of the Moline location. She attempted to put me on hold and told the person working with her to look at the name on the caller ID and she said "Remember the 6 month long nightmare we had with that person trying to get his title transfer" and I was promptly hung up on. I immediately called back and told her what I had heard and demanded that they send me back the 300 dollar check they've had in their possession for 2 weeks. Needless to say I was not very kind when I called back and she swore it was not directed at me and that she was sorry I heard what she said. She first tried to deny that she hung up on me but after repeating what she said verbatim, she was unable to deny it and tried holding back her nervous laugh saying it had nothing to do with me. I was then told that the check was there on someone else's desk and that they'll put it in the mail for me. Regardless of whether it had anything to do with me or not, you just shouldn't say something like that and then end a call, thinking the person didn't hear you. TLDR? So, if this company has a tough time getting something done for you, they will push the blame on you and hang up on you when you call to ask where your refund is for the services they were unable to render. They also talk s**t on customers apparently while they're on hold, unfortunately for them they forgot to mute the phone when they spoke to me and they earned themselves this lovely 1 star review. I'm the nightmare they shouldn't have hung up on.
