Gotta say thanks to East Tenn Transmission they don't have a Facebook page but I took my 99 f250 in…read moreback in September due to the transmission going out I had them do a rebuild and put a billet torch converter after all said and done it was about 4000 which I checked other transmissions shop around the tri-cities and it was going to be around 5 to 6000 to do it but Carlos did a great job and at a short time Later mid December my starter mount broke and if you know about 99 f250 then you know the mount acts as a spacer between the bale housing and motor when it broke it messed up the transmission line which is covered under the warranty of the transmission so I bought the part and sent it back they honored the warranty and done a fluid change and fixed the part and got it done they put me in front of the line and got it done in two days one day was waiting on a new starter I highly recommend this shop and Carlo and his dad do great work for a reasonable price he told me that most shops try to get rich off diesels but he said they are a bigger job

Suspecting they were taking advantage of her, we consulted Tommy, our trusted mechanic in Knoxville, who confirmed our doubts. Although we managed to retrieve the car, my daughter still paid a lot for almost nothing. This time - when her car stopped running again - we found Brian. He quickly fixed the car and charged us a fair (and low) cost (based on Tommy's estimation). He was also accommodating, accepting the car after hours, and is someone we trust to not take advantage of those who don't know much about cars. Overall, Brian is a great mechanic who we highly recommend.

I was recommended by an existing client of theirs when I needed some stuff looked at pertaining to the undercarriage of my car. My Dad had always been close enough to help me out if I ever had an issue with my car, but that became difficult to rely on when I moved about 4 hours away for graduate school. I am so happy I listened to the recommendation I was given for American & Import Auto Repair because they just genuinely care about people over their own profits in a way that is HARD to find in this day and age. Every staff member I have interacted with has treated me with the utmost respect and understanding - even when I ask what could be considered "stupid" questions given my lack of experience handling even my own Auto Maintenance. I loved my first experience with them so much that I decided to switch to them for my oil changes as well. While at my most recent oil change, I saw a flyer for their annual women's car clinic that they host for free and reserved a spot for myself and a friend. This past Saturday I attended the clinic and they went so above and beyond that it genuinely touched my heart. They had wonderful goody bags just for attending with stuff that you actually need and can use instead of just random things. They even included a notebook for taking notes at the clinic too! I learned so much at this event and was able to ask as many questions as I liked. The really big thing that stood out to me was when the owner, Tim, spoke at the beginning of the clinic and clarified that they were not trying to sway us to use them instead of any other place an attendant of the clinic might regularly go to, but that the event was meant to empower us women no matter where we get services done. This place has earned my business for however long I am in this area and I will always recommend them to anyone I know!
