Spontaneous stop at Drop coffee. Just around the corner of the station (Mariatorget). Very minimalistic vibe of the interior. Delicious coffee. As usually a cappuccino with oatmilk! Friendly staff Good coffee Calm

    Oat milk latte

I never had such the urge to Yelp so quickly as I am now I never like coffee....give me tea and we'll call it a day While researching places to try and food to eat, I read somewhere to try oat milk latte...what? I thought it was a specific flavor or something super unique. Nope it's jus oat milk and espresso. Stupid right lol Anyways, tried to find the best oat milk latte (duh) and I couldn't really find anything but I read someone's article about drop coffee and how amazing the coffee was and how they had oat milk. A few cafes I've been to didn't offer that so I took the trip out here just for it Wait for it Wait for it This is by far the best latte I had ever had, it might not be saying much but it's just so effing good. The oat milk provides a mild flavor and a hint of sweetness, and the espresso is also mild and not burnt or overly acidic. Just tasting the foam, my eyes widen. I almost finished the cup in 3 gulps, I'm sure people stared. And it was the perfect temp, not burning, I mean I'm trying to drink it right away, not wait for it to cool. I'm in heaven!!!

When looking up 'must-see' places in Stockholm, Drop Coffee came up as one of the best coffee shops in the WORLD. And with that said, I was on a mission to visit this so-called 'best coffee in the world'. The coffee shop is what you'd expect from a minimalistic/hipster venue. The shop is quite big, so it can seat a ton of people. They also have wi-fi available. Apparently they competed in the aeropress competitions and pour over coffees, so that's what I went with. It's always best to ask the baristas to give descriptions of the coffee beans, espeically if you're doing a pour over, otherwise you're just guessing. I'm a fan of the smoother, nuttier coffees and they had 2 to choose from. It seemed like they had a slightly wider selection of fruity, acidic coffee, which I'm not a fan of. I wish I tried the oat milk. I didn't see that until after I ordered my coffee.

This is a great example of an overrated hipster coffee shop that has gotten popular over its strategic location and the rather "cool" looking people working behind the counter. Staff & Coffee. To get treated coldly by the staff has never been something I fancy, and that is indeed the treatment that my friend and I got when we order our coffee. Something that is worth mentioning is that it took them nearly 15 minutes to make our macchiato and coffee latte despite the fact that there was no queue and three people behind the counter - that's what I call slow service. The coffee was not that delicious either, and as many other people have pointed out, my coffee was not warm enough and a bit too pricey. Interior & Room. Drop coffee does not consist of one or two rooms but several ones which have wooden tables and stools on one side of the table and benches on the other, neither are any comfortable to sit on. In fact, I can't even imagine why they would have such useless stools unless it is a new hipster trend. Also, the noise that rises in the small rooms are also a big problem for the coffee shop. I sat in one of these rooms for about 2 hours and got a smaller headache because of all the noise, and worth pointing out is that the room was not even full at that time. I feel like I should give this coffee shop a second try, but why should I put myself and my wallet through such an unpleasant experience again when everything except the location of Drop Coffee seemed right?

The oat milk latte is the best latte Ive ever had in my life. It is so good and creamy. The toast with eggs, chive mayonaise and bacon was excellent as well. This place is a must when stopping by stockholm!

I'm so happy to see that Drop Coffee has returned to its former glory and service. Once again the place and the drinks feel like they used to some years back. Always a hospitable and friendly attentive service. The beans in their own roasting are as delicious as they always were. But I'm happy that a new shift manager has reignited the cafe part as well. So I'm once again awarding them a five star review after an earlier dip. Keep it up!

We came as a party of four hoping for kaffe och smorgås-- unfortunately they only had two sandwiches left. No soup. No salad. No choices. Alas! We begrudgingly decided to split the Sweet potato and Pickled Onion sandwiches. They were totally delicious and left me disappointed that we couldn't have ordered more! The coffee was even better. Gourmet pour-over single origins from Ethiopia and Kenya were rich and complicated. Service was just fine. The atmosphere was chill. The temperature was too hot. Recommended.

Drop Coffee is great spot to hit up if you are seeking out good coffee, and additionally, a place that roasts and sells their own beans. The space is quite large and open, with a few different areas of seating. I came in on a Monday around lunch time and there was plenty of seating, and those that were enjoying their brews were on laptops or presumably having business-related meetings. The menu is all in Swedish, but feel free to ask the baristas for help if you need it because the two I spoke with were super friendly. I ordered a double shot cappuccino which was probably the best cappuccino that I've had in Stockholm. Super smooth with no burnt taste! I also Got a vegetarian sandwich that had really amazing bread. Overall a super great space with super great coffee!

I'm really fond of this café. I enjoyed my coffee, though I have to admit that it could have been less milk in my cappuccino. The ambience is simple and nice and I would say that Drop Coffee is the best café in Sødermalm. But there're other fashionable and more beautiful cafés in Stockholm.

My fiancé and I came here because of a Pinterest post and it did not disappoint. It reminds us a lot of our favorite coffee shop back home, Philz Coffee in San Francisco. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff was more than pleasant even though we arrived as they opened the doors in the morning. The coffee was smooth and flavorful which left no need for sugar or additives. The pastries were incredible. My favorite was the cinnamon bun but the others were outstanding as well. Definitely take the time to stroll down to the shop from Gamla Stan (its only 20 minutes max and the scenery is breathtaking).

Typical Södermalm style cafe. Great filter coffe and ok italian coffees. Cinnamon buns and other buns are like homemade, no looks but fantastic taste. Lots of english staff here

I think Mariatorget might be the best place in Stockholm atm for coffee and bars. Drop Coffee is very nasty with tasty coffee and sandwiches and sweets. I enjoy both the "bryggkaffe" and the cappuccino! I only wish the coffee had one refill included, especially because it's quite pricy. If you come in the weekend try to come early rather then late because it can be quite crowded and hard to find a seat!

Drop Coffee is a cafe who dedicates itself to one thing, well made coffee! At first I was kind of disappointed by the interior of this cafe, the entrance has more personality than in the inside, it's essentially a blank canvas. Good seating but no decoration. So if your looking for big comfy couches and cool artwork ur in the wrong place, but if your looking for a well made cup of java, welcome! So I give this spot 4 stars, i really enjoyed my coffee here, the staff were friendly and honestly despite the blank emptiness I would comfortable sit here an work for a while. So come here for one reason, that being if ur a coffee lover. Otherwise there's plenty of Starbucks around ;-)

I'm not sure what Swedish waffles and 1950s diners have in common, but this place makes it work for sure. We came in on a Sunday morning, and were able to get seated right away. My cousin and I both had the raspberry waffle with whipped cream (75 sek, approx $8USD.). The waffle was perfectly crispy and the jam was delicious, but it wasn't a particularly filling for the price, really just a treat. They had fancier offerings as well, for a bit more money, as well as savory combinations. I overheard from a neighboring table that you can order a waffle with both whipped cream and ice cream. Where was this information when I was ordering? Oh well, next time. I would visit Älskade Traditioner again, but perhaps only for dessert. Alternatively I may try one of their savory options for a full meal.

Only disappointment was that in a lot of the other dishes (not pictured) the meat was a bit dry including their signature chicken and steak. Grilled lamb 9/10 : My meat was a little dry but still very yummy and well seasoned. The side sauce/butter complimented the meat very well and was delicious. And the potatoes were heavenly with just enough crunch with a buttery softness. And the tomatoes added an acidic bite that cut into the richness quite well. Swedish meatballs: 11/10 the best in Sweden that we tried on our trip! Homemade and super tender with a delicious sauce and lingonberries. Panna Cotta 10/10 : This is my favorite dessert and it was made really well here. The peaches were fresh and the Panna cotta was light and not too sweet. I'm not a big fan of the crumble but it tastes really well especially the sorbet which was just divine. Tip: Might need a recommendation, but walk in for small groups might be doable as well

Everything you'd need for the perfect meal out! They do not accept reservations and we went on a Sunday evening around 8:30 pm. We waited about 30 minutes, but boy was it worth it! We were seated at a cute little corner table that had pads on the benches, right next to a window to see the street. Lighting was dim and cozy. Service was the best I've had in recent memory. Our waitress was peppy despite having to deal with a long line and probably a long day. She was friendly, attentive, and so cheerful! 100/10. We started with the reindeer salad since my bf had never had reindeer before. While the reindeer seemed less cooked than expected, by the end he really liked the mix of flavors and thought it paired well with the salad. We both got the Swedish meatballs for our entrees and loved them! We both loved the pickled cucumbers and lingonberries. The lingonberries pair so well with the meat! While there are only 3 meatballs, they were so huge neither of us could finish all of them. Especially because I wanted to save room for dessert: the sponge cake! While it didn't look like much on presentation, it was surprisingly moist and the cream and berries were absolutely delicious. My bf said he was only going to have one bite (he's not a big dessert guy) but instead ended up eating half! Highly recommend! Overall would come back again just for the vibes, service, dessert, and to probably try another entree, which I'm sure would be good as well!
