Yum, this was delicious! We stopped in to have some pastries after walking for miles. We shared a berry pie that came with a white cream sauce and a caramel cake as well as a cinnamon roll. There are spots to sit at outside. Worth a stop for tasty pastries. read more

My friends and I decided to stop in for a drink and chat. I ordered from the blackboard, a mixed drink that had aquavit, lime juice and ginger beer. It was served in a highball glass full of ice. It had fruit slices and tasted good. BUT I was charged 175 kronor!!! That's 17€ or $19.82 or £15 for one mixed cocktail Whatt?? Since the price was not marked and I didn't ask beforehand, there was not much I could say, but buyer beware. Down the street about one block is a bar called Sjätte Tunnan which has ginger beer for 35kr. A fancy restaurant on Djurgården called Ulla Winbladh has mixed cocktails for 140 kronor. A Swedish football jersey at a nearby shop is 120 skr and a lentil soup dinner with hummus and bread at Cafe Dox down the street is 79 skr. Spend your 175 skr other places, not on one cocktail at Lazy House. Besides feeling cheated, I enjoyed the location and pleasant company. The servers seemed nice. We go out in that neighborhood every week, and we'd not go back there... live and learn. read more

Me and my mother went here for a late lunch yesterday and we picked this place because it looked cozy and it seemed like everyone was enjoying their time. There was not alot of food-options on the menu, they had sweedish meatballs, a ceasar salad, salmon, burger and something more (can't really remember). My mom couldn't really decide what she wanted and told me to decide for her, so I picked the most expensive dish on the menu for both of us, which was Biff Rydberg - which is a traditional swedish dish made of sliced beef, onions, potatoes served with egg yolk and a mustard sauce. I thought we was going to eat the Biff rydberg of our lives with that price (195 SEK which is $21, €19, £17) but unfortunately this didn't live up to that. Everything was tasteless, the meat wasn't seasoned enough and the potatoes weren't either. I know that dish contains onion, but I feel like it was TOO MUCH of that so it kind of overbalanced the potatoes. I gave this place 2 stars for the location and for the mustard sauce, because they actually nailed that one. And overall we had a good time, me and my mother but we could of enjoyed the food better if we went to another place to be honest. This is a great little coffee shop that is vegan friendly - soy milk and fresh juices. A small coffee menu but delicious lattes. Tons of food options, including sweet and savory. Free wifi and very cozy. read more

Great little cafe that has really good homemade Swedish meatballs. Stopped for lunch and both of us had the meatballs and enjoyed them with an Abro lager and IPA. Waitresses very friendly. read more

Stopped here more than once for coffee and pastries because we liked it so much. The staff was friendly and the pastries were very affordable for the Gamla Stan area. I highly recommend the cheesecake and brownies. It's located close to the tram station too, so it was easy to swing in on our way to the airport. read more

We like to swing by Gamla Stan for the bookstores and comic book shop. I am so glad we found this cozy cafe just off the beaten path (of all the tourist traffic). I've had the chai tea latte hot and iced, as well as their sweet treats, all good! Fair prices for Stockholm and even nicer for Gamla Stan. Nice and quiet. read more

Stopped in on a snowy cold afternoon. Great little space and it wasn't all tourists which was neat. The best part here is definitely the staff. Super nice very helpful just a joy to be around. All around very pleasant for a quick bight, big tea selection (on the wall in big bars) and sweets. We tried a salmon bagel, quiche, and Swedish pancake. All were just fine, nothing to set your hair on fire. Would stop in again. read more

The overall experience was underwhelming. We ordered the spinach and feta quiche (which they call pie) which came with a salad. The pie was creamy and fairly big in size. We also ordered a chai latte (good), hot chocolate (not great) and an Americano (not great). The staff spoke English, but it seemed as though we were bothering them. Average coffee and wonderful creme brûlée cheese cake. Super convenient location and nice atmosphere but feels like a tourist trap. The staff seems to be annoyed by the fact that many guest are tourist in this area. We didn't feel welcome at all. The Wi-Fi and rest rooms are locked behind codes which is fine but a friendly smile and instructions on how to use them when you ordered would have been convenient. read more
